9 Chapter 8 - Hao Hao

He became an orphan at very early in his life due to a tragedy falls to his family.

Barely at the tender age of 7, he had to go to an orphanage because none of his relatives wanted to take him as he bring bad luck to his family.

Living at orphanages he have to fight over his foods, over his clothes and place to sleep. It like survival of the fitness. Due to he, one of the youngest, he offends lose and only get left over. The orphanage's director a human trash that treated children like money bag but at the same time, wasn't a good example of how to be a nice person, either.

Wanting to leave such an orphanage as soon as possible, he found a job and started working right after graduating from the Elementary. While resembling a very thin stick, thanks to his height over his age, he convincingly lying about how old he actually was proved to be rather easy. Of course, on that one of an occasion his lies expose, he got chase away without receiving a payment, but well, that was to be expected.

Regardless, he continue to work tirelessly during the night and slept in the Middle School during the daytime; and this was how he live his early life.

Around this time, he stop utilising the bed in the orphanage as well. Honestly, he found it more comfortable to sleep in the school's infirmary. He couldn't be sure, but maybe the reason for his height remaining the same from 6th grade probably had something to do with this unhealthy lifestyle.

Whatever the case may have been, through all the rough and tumble, he succeeded in becoming completely independent and grow as fine teenager upon turning 18. 4 years of back-breaking labour which enable him to rent out a single room for himself. Other people might have found this space a seriously tight fit, but for him, it was the safest and the most comfortable place in his life. Within this comfortable environment, his own home, he feels secures.

Then one day he received a black box in front of his house. People say 'Curiosity kill the cat' and maybe his luck. He pick up the box and when into his room. He unwrapping the box and take out the strange device and examine it. He accidentally poke his Palm with the device. Surprising he notice the device absorb his blood and beating glow floating absorbed into his body. The he receive a prompt from nowhere.

Hao Hoa seem confucius dues that he didn't have any opportunity to dream about playing a game.

Dark clouds started to sprout and spreading from south. All plants start to wither give me a chilled vibe. I see the monsters started to encircle the village. The monsters massacre everything within the path. We fell dread and horror but nobody wishes to die so quickly. We can only choose flee together towards the street attempting to break throughout the encirclement and hope we can increase our survival rates. Any one who are afraid taking this route, they will still die in the end.

The sound of monsters beast marching getting closer and closer from behind. I absolutely does not dare to look behind. I knows I need to escape by myself, I have to live. I have to run.

I almost make a break through the encirclement suddenly a man in front of me fall down blocking my path. I don't have time to help him or circling over him so I jump over the guy. In the moment he suddenly stand up and we clash at each other. He curses me while send a kick to my stomach and wish me to die.

"Go and die! Your death will buy us more time to survive!"

I feels a flash of pain in my stomach, for a while I can't breath, my entire body tumbling down. And then…

"Lucy what should I do now?" Hao Hao urgently ask Lucy.
