6 START OF SOMETHING NEW

Erica was completely overjoyed when she got home the previous night. Harry gave her a sense of what she believed she needed in a man. The evening had turned out to be a legit date, the park manager got a completely different idea on what Erica meant by getting the park in order for the evening. Luckily for her, all went well and Harry enjoyed the evening.

Harry saw a different side to Erica and he loved it. She wasn't the shy beautiful employee he saw at work. She was bold, wealthy, cheerful, down to earth and breath taking beautiful. He had never been surprised like that in his entire life, she set him up to such a beautiful evening date. It was an evening he would never forget. Although Harry knew deep down he felt the exact same way about shelby.

Shelby decided to take the day off, her head was spinning in thought's on how she and Harry were to spend their day together. She checked the time and placed a call to Harry.

"Hello lady Shelby", Harry said as he answered the call.

She shivered in excitement from the sound of his husky voice through the phone.

"Hello Harry, just calling to make sure, you haven't chickened out of our plans for today".

Harry laughed hysterically, " what in the world makes you think I will change my mind?".

" Well let's say, I am only making sure I get to see you", then a thought came to her, "How about we cancel going out and I come spend the day at your place?", Shelby suggested.

Harry almost choked at the offer, " you want to come over to my place?", Harry asked in shock.

Harry was new to female company, he had no idea how to keep a woman company at his apartment. The only females that ever came to his apartment where his friends companions.

" You can come over to my place, if you don't want me in yours", Shelby added.

" Oh....I am chill with you coming over. Only I have never had female company at my place. I might be a kill joy", Harry replied.

Shelby felt real special knowing she was the first female visiting him at his apartment. She definitely wasn't going to act impressed by that thought.

" I find that hard to believe Mr Harry Davies. The fact that you kiss well, simply means you have had time practicing with other women", Shelby teased.

Harry couldn't help but laugh, "The fact that you believe me to be a good kisser, simply means you haven't had much practice", he replied.

Shelby was amazed he could tell she had little practice in that aspect of her life.

"well truth be told I have only been in one relationship my entire life. It was from such a distance I was almost regarded as single".

They talked on the phone for over an hour and later agreed to meet at the Ikeja city mall, to get the things needed for the time they will spend together at Harry's place.

Jackson just finished sealing off a multi million dollar sponsorship deal with Nike brand for his father's airline. Jackson was acknowledged for his nonstop supply of good luck, strongly backed up with a sharp mind and good looks. He was feeling extra lucky today.

" I guess I should give her a call", Jackson contemplated.

He was in Lagos for a short while, he wanted to celebrate this victory with someone special, who better than the beautiful daughter of the Anderson family. He placed a call to Erica.

Erica met up with Jackson at the

Ikeja city mall. Harry was nowhere to be found earlier at the office. She had plans on spending the day in his company. On the other hand, Jackson was good company judging from their last encounter, she had no plans on sparking up a budding romance. Jackson sounded like he really needed a friend, she wasn't going to be a kill joy on such a good day for him.

Erica recognised a car at the parking lot, it was Harry's. She wondered what he was doing at the mall, seeing as he didn't show up at work. There was nothing going on at the office at the moment, she could understand why he wasn't at work. What she couldn't understand is what he was doing at the mall and with whom.

" What's got your mind so far away from here?", Jackson asked Erica.

" Uh?", She stared at Jackson Cluelessly.

Jackson sighed, " You could have told me if you had somewhere else to be", he stated dryly.

" Oh no!, It's nothing like that", she faked a laugh, "I have nowhere to be at the moment, I am all yours for now", she said before walking towards the main entrance of the mall.

Harry and Shelby walked hand in hand, they were on their way out of the mall after purchasing the things they needed to spend the day together.

" I do hope we got everything needed", Harry said.

Shelby loved the way he took charge of everything, she felt like a child around him. Now that she really thought about it, they were quite the match, he was tall and handsome, while she was tall and beautiful.

" No need to worry Mr, we got everything covered", Shelby replied before placing a kiss on his hand tangled in hers. They both walked out the second exit.

Harry was having troubles of the heart and mind. Last night he was very sure he loved Erica as much as he did Shelby. At the moment Shelby was all he could see and he felt a need to be greedy. All this feelings were new to him, he felt guilty over something he couldn't place a finger on. He was obviously not in a relationship with either of them, but he felt like he owed them both a chance.

Jackson and Erica had a decent celebratory dinner at the spurs. Erica tried her best to keep Jackson company, but deep down her mind was with Harry's car at the parking lot.

Jackson noticed how distracted she was, although he gave her credit For trying to act natural on his behalf.

" Guy trouble?", He asked

Erica almost believed he was in her head, " uhh... not at all".

Jackson understood the look in her eyes, "Do you have a boyfriend? ", He asked bluntly.

Erica laughed at the question, " I wish I had the time for such".

" You are single?", he looked her directly In the eye.

Erica knew Jackson liked her and didn't want to give him a reason to embark on a journey leading to disappointment.

" Truth is there is this guy I like, we aren't a thing yet, but we might be", Erica was sure she had killed the mood.

Jackson laughed, " well well, we Will see about that, you might never get to be a thing".

Erica laughed at his hopeful statement, deep down she hoped it remained a statement. She had never wanted anyone in her entire life, the way she did Harry.

" We will see", was all she could mutter.

Shelby and Harry were having a swell time at his place. Turns out Shelby was a lover of games, they were really having fun and he didn't have to fake it. She really loved his place and Harry was an incredible host.

" I can't believe I skipped work to be with your crazy ass", Shelby teased Harry.

" My crazy ass", he pounced on her playfully. They both fell off the couch.

Shelby felt butter flies in her belly as she ended up underneath him.

" sorry sir, I meant to say say your chicken ass", then she placed a kiss on his lips.

Harry knew at this point, he had a choice to make, he had to choose one or loose them both. Faith always had a way of bringing him and Shelby together at moments like this.

Harry looked Shelby in the eye, " if I asked you to be my girlfriend...",

Shelby caught him off with a more intense kiss before catching her breath to answer his unfinished question.

" yes clown, I will be your girlfriend".

Harry knew he was off to the start of something new, he felt excitement and at the same time he felt a great sense of loss.
