Only on the sixth strike did Abraham succeed in poisoning the beast. Just when Abraham was about to continue attacking, all his instinct started screaming about an upcoming attack.
Without wasting time, Abraham moved most of his coated body Qi onto his back and dashed away from the beast. He also activated and used shadow control to form a barrier between him and the incoming attack. Abraham was able to move seven meters away when he felt an intense heat on his back and then he was propelled forward through the air with an irresistible force. Abraham found himself tumbling through the air until he crashed into the ground with a thud, leaving a trail of dust and smoke in his wake. Despite the impact, Abraham quickly regained his footing.

The creature has unleashed a devastating attack, causing the ground to erupt in a torrent of scorching flames. The ground all around the beast has cracked. Lava erupted from the ground and standing in the middle, the beast was eyeing Abraham with a scorching rage.
Knowing that the previous fireball attack was not useful against Abraham, the Emberthorn decided to launch a new attack.
The fire beast, with a primal instinct for combat, curled itself into a blazing wheel, its scales radiating intense heat. Flames danced along its spinning form, creating a whirlwind of scorching fury. With a thunderous rumble, the creature propelled itself forward, hurtling towards Abraham with incredible speed.
Undeterred by its initial miss, the fire beast made a U-turn, ready to launch another assault. Flames still flickered along its scaly body, emanating an intimidating heat. It charged once more, this time changing its trajectory mid-air, aiming to catch Abraham off guard.
"This is taking too long. The time limit of the active skill is getting close and my twenty percent increase will return to my strength. I don't think I will be able to continue to evade these rolling attacks. I have to test the reason why I choose this demon-tier beast as my first challenge. Let's hope it works." With the thought of ending the battle soon, Abraham waited for the second rolling attack.

Suddenly, from underneath his feet, a thick purple shadow started to spread in all directions from where Abraham stood. Once it reached a particular area, it started to rise, eventually creating a dome shape. The dome encased both Abraham and the Emberthorn beast in complete darkness.

Level 2: The user can control the size of the shadow void, MC cost will increase or decrease depending on its size.
Level 3: All Shadow skills' costs are reduced by 50% while the user is inside the Shadow Void. Additionally, the user's natural Mutant Cells regeneration is amplified by 50% inside the dome.

All of them were worried, their eyes wide with a mix of fear and anxiety. As the group observed Abraham getting up from their vantage point, their expressions fluctuated from fear to hope.
Then when Abraham activated the shadow Void, from the outside, it looked like a dark cloud that was continually moving and shifting, creating a large dome-shaped space.
"It is the first time I'm seeing Abraham using this skill." voiced Robert.
Just as they were about to question what was going on inside, all of them turned their heads. The sound of footsteps was coming close and then they finally saw a group of more than ten beasts approaching them.

Inside the shadow void, the beast's confusion was at its peak, At its instincts were shouting of dangers. Yet it could not believe it but reality came striking from the group.
Something weird was felt wrapping around its feet. When it looked, the Emberthorn could see multiple purple, dark hands grabbing his limbs. Annoyed, the beast stomped its feet, and surprisingly, the shadow hands disappeared without any resistance.
But immediately after, the purple shadow hands formed again and started wrapping.
The fire beast, momentarily stunned, paused its assault. Abraham seized the opportunity and pushed his body's limits. The Qi energy was going wild as he was sprinting as fast as possible. At the same time, he activated Shadow Cloak.
