7 Prediction

Sapphire's POV

I cried for hours and eventually fell asleep. I woke up feeling terrible and feeling the weight on my eyelids knowing that I probably have blood shot eyes. I sighed and looked at myself in a mirror.

"Great, how am I going to meet Casey looking like this?" I needed to show her that I'm alright or else she wouldn't leave me alone. Knowing her, she'll stay by my side until I get over something. It was alright when it was just the two of us but now she has a mate, and they need to stay together. I don't want to be them to begin having problems in their relationship just because I messed up my own.

I need to begin on moving on, expect the unexpected and expect the worse. I can't have Casey and Aiden here with me.

It's 8:00 when I went downstairs, I cooked some bacon and eggs and ate it all myself. I'm meeting with Casey at 11:00, I still got time to clean my room.

I went upstairs and began to pick up the scattered clothes on the floor that Casey proudly did, I smiled as I remembered how excited we were that day, before... all this.

I fixed my bed and vacuumed the carpet. I decided to look under my bed and even though that it was a bit dark, I noticed that there are things that rolled under the bed which I didn't even know was missing, I reached my hands to pick stuff up randomly and accidentally touched a box. I drew my hand back quickly, thinking if I forgot to unpack a box when I moved back in, so decided to take a look at it.

I reached in and pulled the box that's been covered with dust.

"Oh sure, I probably forgot about these, what's in it again?"

I went downstairs and took a box cutter and sliced the tape that sealed the box. I opened the box that revealed picture frames, random things, letters and scattered pictures.

I gasped as I regain some of the memories that I lost. Tears began to fall as I began to sob. "Mom... Dad..." I wiped my tears away and smiled at the pictures, I can't let my emotions ruin these. We were happy and I have to let it be that way, memories are treasures that we must keep, but what if there are memories that you just want to throw away?

I sigh as I picked up the box and put it on my desk, I won't try to forget anymore, I know that Mom and Dad are still here with me and I know that they're still guiding me, I can feel it. But I can't look at these right now, it would just make me feel more lonely and alone.

I took a shower and put on a dress and laced shoes, I picked up a bag and threw in my phone, wallet and my house keys.

Then made my way towards my car, I unlocked it and pulled back from the garage and continued to drive to the mall.

It was a long drive,  but it wasn't long enough for me to figure out what I will do with my life next.

I entered the mall and waited for Casey to text back.

I'm at the coffee shop where we used to go, same spot.)

I nodded and made my way there. I walked as fast as I could so that nobody will see me. I kept my head down to keep a low profile.

I entered the coffee shop and got tackled down by someone.

"Oh my god!!" I gasped.

"You made me worry! What the hell Sapphire!!" Casey exclaimed making me breathe out a sigh.

"I missed you too Casey." Then hugged her back, good thing there was no one around to see us making a scene there except for the cashiers which was giggling at us up until now.

"Hey Ben." I smiled awkwardly at one of the cashiers. "The usual please." I handed him the payment for our drinks.

"It's nice to see your faces again." He laughed. "It's been a while, where were you too been? It's no fun here without you two around." He handed me my change as Casey giggled.

"We've been busy." She laughed. "It's good to be back though."

Yes, we were already friends with the staffs since we came here so often.

We both turned around as I looked at Casey. She mumbled an apology while we searched for a table.

"How are you doing?" Casey asked as she sat down.

I gave her a smile. "Great, how is... you know?" I shrugged.

She gave me a worried look before taking a sip from her cup. "Not good, he isn't eating anything since you left, he's not even going out of his room, only god knows if he's even taking a bath." I chuckled as I took my cup.

"When are you coming back?" She asked but I sighed.

I looked down. "I... don't know..." I breathed.

She held my hand and looked worriedly at me. "I have something to tell you..." I shot a look at her. I noticed how serious she is so I raised an eyebrow and signaled for her to go on, she sighed. "You need to come home."

I laughed. "You're calling THE palace, home? Home sounds like a place that's smaller." She laughed but turned into a serious look.

"Home is called a place where you have your family and we're all family now. We both are and had always been family Saph." Yeah she's got a point.

"And why do I need to come home again?" I shot an eyebrow up and sighed.

She sighed. "You need to mate with Xander before the end of the month."

I crossed my eyebrows and stood up in anger, slamming both of my hands on the table. "Excuse me, I'm not coming back only just to do it with him!" She stood up but holding her anger and her... tears.

"You need to fully mate or else you both die."

My hand started to shake and my knees weaken making me fall down to my sit. "You need to fully mate on the first month after you turn, or else..." she said while sitting down.

"...or else we both die?" I gasped and she nodded.

I understand the ways of the vampires but as a human, it's a lot to take in considering that I'm still a virgin.

"But wait, did you and Aiden already..." I shot an eyebrow up and she nodded shyly, I squealed and jumped at her. "Oh my gooooood!" I laughed and she giggled.

We both said good bye and went home where I could process what Casey just said.

Xander's POV

Casey went out saying she's going to find Sapphire, I insisted of coming with her but she said no, she didn't even let Aiden go with her, maybe it'll be best if she goes by herself in case she finds her. Sapphire will be upset if she saw me or Aiden. But I'm still worried about what the guard said. I want to protect her. If only I trusted her with what she felt in the first place then she wouldn't have had to go through all of that.

Few hours later Casey returned.

"How'd it go?" I asked while walking towards her, she looked down and didn't say anything, I walked near her and took a sniff, that smell... it's Sapphire's!

"You were with her, weren't you?" I said in a serious tone which made her shot a look.

"How did you?"

I smirked." I can smell her from you." her eyes widened.

"You can smell your mate?" I nodded.

"The scent of your mate is a lot stronger than others, that's how we can tell who our mates are."

She nodded and looked at me in the eyes. "What does she smell like?" she asked which made me frown.

"Strawberries ." I sobbed while she pats my back. I missed her more.

I went back to my room and noticed something's off.

Sapphire's POV

I was already exhausted, not just physically but both mentally after what happened. I didn't even have the strength to go to my room so I just threw my keys on the coffee table and threw myself on the couch, letting sleep take over me.

{"Sapphire get out of here!!" Xander yelled as he ran towards me, I looked past him and saw something that was running after him, it was a large creature.}

{"Sapphire!!" Casey grabbed me as she run and dragged me along, I looked back at Xander,  and saw that he's fighting a… wolf?!}

{I screamed in horror as Casey was pounced by a wolf and bit her shoulder, she cried in pain as Aiden heard her and came to drag the wolf away. I sobbed while I looked at Casey, blood was gushing out from her shoulders while she gasped for air... No!}

{"Sapphire, g-go, get out of here, l-leave me." I shook my head as I held her hand tightly before her eyes slowly closed.}

{"Casey?" I sobbed. "Casey!!" No response...}

"Casey!!!" I exclaimed.

I woke up panting and sobbing. I need to get back, last time I had a dream it came true. I need to go and warn everybody.

I quickly got up, took my keys and drove back to the palace and called Casey.

"Casey! What's happening there now?!"

I heard her hyperventilating which means she's already panicking and it's already happening.

*"T-they're outside, they asked me to stay here but--"*

"I'm on my way there, whatever you do don't get out of your room, got it?"

*"What's going on? How did you know what was happening here?"*

"It's this dream that I dreamt, I'll explain later. I need you to calm down and wait for me there"

*"Okay..."*

Call ended

I got there and everything was a chaos, dead bodies everywhere. I got off my car and quietly ran towards an open window, I jumped through and looked around, this is... Our room... I searched the whole room and found no one. I quickly went to slightly open the door then I heard a growl and someone smashed a door, it sounded close, Casey! I waited for a scream but nothing, the wolf went away and I quickly went to their room, Casey's not here, I turned around and heard someone sobbing from the closet, I rushed over and opened it, I don't care if someone jumps at me then stabs me, I need to find my best friend.

I opened the closet and I was right, someone jumped at me from the closet... and hugged me.

"Sapphire!" Casey sobbed.

"I'm here." she held me tightly then I waited for her to calm down. "Let's find the others" she nodded as we exited the room.

"Sapphire!!" I heard Xander shout. "Sapphire get out of here!!" he ran after me then it all came true, a wolf came running after him, Casey grabbed my hand and ran to the opposite direction. I know it all too well.

"Casey, watch out!" I grabbed Casey and pulled her towards me, just in time when a wolf pounces in front of me then came Aiden and instead of dragging it off of Casey, he crushes the wolf's head with a large debris. This is the end of my dream, what happens next?

"How did you get here?" Aiden panted while he ran with us.

"It's this dream, I sort of dream what's going to happen in the future." They both nodded but before I could utter another word, I was pinned down by something large.

It's eyes were bright red. The blood from it's victims were dripping from it's mouth, covering it's fur. I was scared, that was all that I could think of.

I'm going to die...

"Sapphire!!" Casey screamed as Aiden held her back, within seconds the wolf already bit my shoulder, I screamed in pain as the wolf in front of me disappeared.

Xander sat me up making me wince in pain, tears ran down my cheeks as blood gushed from my shoulder.

I saw the wolf on the side of the hallway, it's eyes were still open but I could tell that it was already dead.

"Are you alright?" Xander killed the wolf, but his eyes are red, I cried in pain as I felt blood run down my shoulder. I looked around and saw me, Casey, May and Elena in a different room.

"How?" I asked as they all walked towards me.

"Vampires have powers, mine is very fast at running, Mom has healing powers and Dad can put a sleeping spell on others." May spoke while she looked at my wound, gasping at how terrible it looked. "Mom, can you heal her?"

I hissed at the pain and searched for the boys. "Dad put the boys to sleep." Elena whispered, she ripped the part of my shirt which was covering my wound for her to properly see how bad it was.

"Why did he put them to sleep?"

"Blood lust, it's when female vampire blood is too attractive and the unmated vampires want to fully mate with their mate, they'll do anything, even force you just to mate with you." The world of vampires are terrifying.

And I know that this is just a part of it.
