8 My Mom

Sapphire's POV

"How did you even know what was happening here?" May asked me in a confused tone.

"I've been dreaming of the future since the night before the spring ball and I dreamt of the palace being attacked so I rushed over." I gasped for air as I said all of that fast.

May and Elena looked at each other. "What's wrong?" I asked.

Elena spoke up. "Legends ago, a very powerful vampire had many powers, it includes Prediction, and she was called the Vampire Goddess. She had a human as a mate, she can't even turn her mate into a vampire, she only had one way to be with him, and that is to be a human herself, so she turned herself into human and that is one of her powers. She gave up all of her powers and became a human and she had a child. She was our greatest fighter against the wolves and since that they heard that she became human they killed her family, but, legend says that they killed her and her mate but they didn't find the child, the child was only a year old that time. And that incident happened 17 years ago..."

May nodded and spoke. "The werewolves must have learned that you possess the same power so they were after you, they were trying to kill you that's why they attacked."

"Why me? I'm not even a Vampire before." I shrugged.

Elena held my hand. "Her name was Samantha."

I gasp and cried. "Mom..."

<"Sweetie? I need you to hide here okay? There are dogs that's playing hide and seek with us so don't make a sound. Your Aunt will join you later okay?" She's crying.>

<"Samantha!!!!" my father cried.>

<She kissed my cheek. "I love you so much my Sapphire" then she left.>

<I fell asleep and few moments later my Aunt came and took me away. "Mama?" I asked.>

<She looked at me with an apologetic smile "She's going to come home later with a surprise so be a good girl, okay?" I smiled widely and nodded, excited for my Mom to come home.>

But she never did.

May and Elena looked at me and hugged me, I can't believe that I'm the Vampire Goddess' daughter. That explains it, all of it. I cried until I fell asleep.

I woke up in our bed room, cuddled up with Xander. Looks like Elena healed all his wounds. I tried getting up but Xander pulled me back to him. "How are you feeling?" Xander sat up. I smiled and hugged him.

"Have you made up your mind?" I closed my eyes as he sighed.

"Look, what we had was a little fight, and that fight will never be the reason for me to give up on you, I love you so much so never forget that, okay? Even if we fight I will always love you." He leaned in and kissed me gently, tears fell down as I hugged him tightly.

"What time is it?" I asked.

"6:59 I guess" I smiled and counted.

"3...2...1…"

"GOOD MORNING!!" May bursts through the door and we burst up laughing.

"Right on cue." Xander laughed.

Casey's right. Home is where the people I love are.

It's good to be back home.
