3 1... 2... 3!

Sapphire's POV

He grinned as I call him "Prince". "No formalities, call me Xander." he leaned in and kissed my cheek making the girl from before glare daggers at me making me form an evil smile, cue the evil laugh!

He held my hand and smiled at me. "Come on, I'll introduce you to someone." He said and led me up to the King and Queen. I was welcomed with bright smiles that really made me nervous. With those kind of smiles, they would be expecting big things from me, right? What if I let them down or something? Xander would throw me away.

I felt the colors of my face suddenly drain away as we walked closer to his parents. Queen Elena had dirty blonde hair with dark yellow eyes while King Jasper had jet black hair like the boys and red eyes like Aiden's.

"Mom, Dad, this is Sapphire, my mate." He proudly announced which made me tightened my grip on his hand. He looked at me and smiled, I don't know what he's thinking but I can tell that he doesn't seem to notice how nervous I am.

I nervously smiled at the Queen and King. "Good evening Queen Elena, King Jasper." I bowed my head to show respect but I heard King Jasper chuckled. I lifted my head in embarrassment but found myself in the Queen's arms.

"Call me Elena!" She exclaimed with pure joy. "You're part of the family so no formalities okay?" She said and pulled back. I couldn't help but give her a meaningful smile for her warm welcome.

I felt a tap on my shoulder so I turned around to see who it is, and when I did, I couldn't help but froze with double of the nervousness that I felt before. "Just as my wife said, call me Jasper." The King smiled warmly at me which made me calm down and smile as a response.

They called Xander's older brother to come over. And within seconds, Aiden came with Casey in his arms. Elena and Jasper smiled widely as they came closer to us. When Aiden introduced Casey and mentioned that she was my friend, the King and Queen cheered.

"Well looks like everybody knows each other, then there's no problem of us getting along." Jasper said in a laugh, we all agreed and Elena interrupted.

"Well then, since that you found your mates, why don't you all go back to the palace and get ready for tomorrow?" She suggested which confused me.

I looked at the others with a confused look as they returned the same look to me. Looks like they don't know what's going on as well.

"Get ready for what?" Xander asked which made Jasper laugh.

"Oh we're going throw a party for the four of you. You're going to have to introduce your mates someday, and tomorrow would be that day!" Then he winked at the boys and so the four of us nodded and said good bye to the Queen and King.

I walked over to Casey as we exchanged stares. 

"Is this really happening?" I asked when I clung to her arm.

"I don't know..." She breathed and looked at me. "You pinch me, I pinch you, ready?" She asked which I answered with a nod and placed my hand on her arm and did the same.

We both counted with our nods.

1…2…3!

"Ouch!" We both winced at the pain which had the brothers ran quickly towards us.

"What happened?" They said at the same time while they panted.

We both crossed our eyebrows in a questioning look but we began laughing.

"It's nothing." I said since that Casey was laughing too hard to give an answer.

They both sighed in relief as two limos were parked in front of us.

I looked at Xander and shot an eyebrow up. "Why are there two?" I asked. His face suddenly turned red while he rubbed the back of his neck.

"Well… Mom and Dad said that we should get to know each other more with just our mates in two separate vehicles, so that's why Mom had two limos to drive us home." He said which didn't really give me much choice to answer.

I just nodded my head as I gazed at the two lovers who were not bothered by the idea and are happily skipping towards their limos.

Xander walked towards ours and held the door open, gesturing for me to hop in. I was about to carelessly get in when I remembered something. Shouldn't I be the one doing that to the Prince of Vampires?

Xander saw how uncomfortable I've gotten so he smiled and walked towards me. He took in my hand and walked me towards the limo, carefully making sure that I got in without any problem. Once he made sure that I was seated comfortably, he closed the door and ran to the other side and got in.

He breathed once he closed the door.

I noticed how the car ride was silent, but it made Xander worried about how quiet I was. "What's wrong?" He asked and leaned closer to see if I was hurt or something.

I shook my head and lifted my hand up to my chest, feeling my pounding heartbeat as it went faster with every minute that I'm with him. "I just… can't believe that this is happening…" I breathed and felt a blush forming on my cheeks. I looked away but he had his fingers on my chin, bringing my face back.

He smiled and stared into my eyes, shifting from my eyes to my lips for countless of times.

"THIS is happening." He breathed before he inched closer, bringing his face closer to mine and bringing his lips inches from mine. I wasn't able to protest. He closed his eyes which made me do the same. He brushed his fingers across my cheek and cupped it with his hand.

I let out a small gasp when his lips crashed into mine. It made me feel comfortable. It was gentle and passionate. It only lasted for 10 seconds when I realized that I didn't know how to respond to it, so I pulled away.
