chapter 3 - getting to know

It got to 11:30pm and me and Carlos have been talking for three hours, we was just talking about how our country's are and what it's like, we would ask each other question about yourself like 'what do you do' and 'how has your day been' the usual question to see what the person is like, then we asked personal questions like our age and what we look like And if we have any family member we live with and if we go to work or college. it was really nice meeting Carlos because we got on really well. we would tell each other jokes and make each other smile. it was good to have someone to talk to, it helps take my mind of things and allows me to learn more about diffrent places, olaces I have never been before. it was also good because my uncle had married a philipino woman and i havnt met her yet and so speaking to Carlos gave me an understanding of what it's like to live in the Philippines.

_________________________________________it had been three weeks of talking to each other which was longer then I though we would be, i was happy that we have been talking and getting to know each other for such a long time, at the end I of these three weeks I was able to understand the life in Philippines. we had such a good chemistry, we would always help each other through problems or speak about each other's day. we became better friends each day, we became closer and Carlos was telling me about his friends and how he wanted to meet me but unfortunately I am way to far away to be able to meet them and j don't have a lot of money to be able to get over to philliliens as I am still young but u made every effort I can't to speak to them.
