Taken Something That Not Hers

Charles and Carlton drove Azalea to Jack Shin's house after calling the old Shin. They agreed to meet there.

Jack's mansion is bigger than their own house. She found out that he is the only one living here. 'Is this supposed to be their future nest?'. She thought about Sue Antaler, Jack's current girlfriend. She feels a bit displeased about herself, she's taken something that not hers.

Jack's face was so dark while receiving his guest. He looked at the woman he will be calling wife and his face became distorted. She's wearing her usual look, an oversized cardigan, a big dark nerdy glass and a bonnet that makes her head look really big.

He feels like he wanted to run and hide because of frustration or anger, he doesn't know . This is like a storm in his life without an end, and he can't contemplate the idea of being married to someone he doesn't really know, worst to someone who doesn't suit his preference. But he needs to keep his mouth shut he agreed to this and he need to be a gentleman, besides this is his family now, for the time being. In his mind he will not rest until he finds a proper solution to this dilemma of him. He's not giving up Sue Antaler yet. 'But how about the racing angel he saw?'. His brain is asking him.

"Welcome!" He casually greeted them and both of the Son men just nodded.

He ushered them to his grand living room where the old Shin waited.

"My little cosmos has finally arrived." A wide smile and pleasure is flashing to his face. "Sit...sit...". The old man is overjoyed.

Jack just shook his head. 'He is more excited than me.' he snorted to himself.

"I came here to personally hand my daughter to your grandson." Charles spoke to the old Shin as soon as he is seated. "I am hoping for a fair treatment even though this is not a marriage that everyone wants.". His seriousness is highly felt.

Carlton is silent, he is just watching them and letting his father do the talking, it's his right anyway. He look at his sister, she's meek and silent not even looking to anyone, she just lowered her head not making any movement or sound. She's always like this when she knows that she made a mistake but did she really made one?.

Jack's face is in grimace. He can't believe what he is hearing right now, her father talking about the well-being of his daughter in front of them when he didn't even squeal when his grandfather is tossing her in a whirlwind marriage.

"I think we can take good care of her in here." he can't help himself, he's casting him an icy glare. He never liked pretentious people.

Charles Son just look at him. In his eyes there are so many things he wants to say but holding himself back. He knows his looking down at him but he doesn't want to explain himself. He is just giving him a cold aura.

"Well it's settled then." Carlton breaks the chilly atmosphere between the two he doesn't want to freeze to death by icy glarings. "Anymore conditions we need to know, before we go?".

"Yes!" Jack said in a snap. "Can we make all of this a secret for a while." he make it sound like an order than a request.

"Much better." Charles answered him back with the same tone. He knows Jack is not giving up without a fight he will not bind himself to a situation he don't like and for some reason he's counting on him for his daughter's sake. But he will never admit it.

The old Shin did not interrupt the conversation he decided to watch from afar. He wants to know how far this two will go. His silence was noticed by Carlton and he made a mental note to talk about this to his sister next time.

The conversation didn't take to much time her father and brother bid them farewell after they said their piece and tell her to call if there's anything she needs. The old Shin also left Jack's house after them. Now the two strange souls were left behind. Both in silence.

"Where's my room?". Azalea is the first one to break the ice.

"At the west wing." he answered casually.

"Where's yours?". She ask him.

Jack's brow arc in an instance. "Are you really asking where my room is?".

"Yes, I am....why is it forbidden to know?".Azalea's corner lips slightly curved upwards, she have the sudden feeling of teasing him. "Why, are you afraid I might jump you in?".

He was stunned for a minute. He thought she was a meek and silent type of woman but his gut is telling him otherwise. "Nope!...it's just that your not my type." and he look at her from head to foot. 'This woman, does she really think I could fall for her?'. he thought.

Azalea grin at him devilishly. "And who said your my type, I never liked big babies." and she quickly turn her back and walk away looking for her room.

"You..." he didn't even let her finished what he wants to say, he already saw her back fading away. His face wrinkled in anger. 'Why do I have a feeling I will regret this sooner or later?'.

Azalea is walking so fast while giggling. 'What a conceited man, he really thinks highly of himself.'. She is shaking her head while having this thought. She didn't really like him from the start but he became her husband and worst she needs to live with him for the whole ten years. 'Who did I offend in my previous life to end up like this.' then she sigh deeply.

Looking and walking all over the long hallway until she found her room at the edge of the hall which is basically the only room that is not lock. She tried every door that she pass by on but most of them are lock and assuming that this is the only one left unlocked it means this is the room they prepared for her. She opened it and look around. "Not bad....very simple.... I like it." she's talking to herself while nodding.

Jack is heading to his room in the east wing of his mansion he is in a bad mood. 'This tiny girl just called him a big baby, who the hell she think she is, talking to him like that.". He's really frustrated at her and he wanted to pound her. To think she's going to live in his house. 'Good thing I decided to throw her to the other side of the mansion, the possibility of seeing her will be less.'

That's what he thought.
