29 Pet Names

Ken's eyebrows furrowed deep. The gut feeling he has is right, he is seeking for Azalea's attention too.

'Damn!!!.... I'm already having a problem with Jack now this man wants to join in'. His thoughts are in rage.

He already know about Jack and Azalea's secret marriage Lindy already told him. He called Jack and confirmed it and he admit it was indeed true but he is still looking for a way out of this contract for Sue's sake. And he believed him.

From their conversation he told Jack that he liked Azalea and wants to stay by her side as a friend for a while until he resolved this contract marriage of them and he said he can do anything he wants just don't overdo it. He was happy with his condition.

"So my cute Japanese doll, do you have any free time I can borrow?" Riff is using all his charm to get her attention.

"What's wrong with this people, why do they always call me in their stupid pet names!''. She murmured to herself. She wants to scold him and stop his nonsense but of course she can't, if he knows her father that means his dad is making some business with him and she don't want to offend him.

"And why do you want to borrow my free time?". She ask him innocently.

"So I can show you the world and all the beauty it holds". A light smile shines in his adoring face. He always do this because he knows a lot of woman falls for this technique of him.

"Oh, I love to but I don't have much free time". Azalea is being polite while refusing his invitation.

Ken's corner lips curved upward. 'she's not into him, good girl.' He's praising her in his mind. The three of them are just looking at each other they let Azalea deal with him.

"Well then can you at lease spare me a little time of yours now, please!". Riff is making a poor puppy look with his hands clasp to each other. This is one of his so called technique. He is hoping this one will catch her attention.

'Wow!..... He's much cuter than my brother using poor puppy tricks look'. She wants to burst out laughing. Her brother always do this to her specially when he wants something so bad.

Carlton almost choked to death when he saw Riff doing his poor puppy trick to his big sister. 'Damn! so, I really do look stupid in that trick.' He made a mental note not to do that ever again.

And Lindy almost fell off her chair when she saw the puppy trick. Carlton always do that to her when he wants something and he really look adorable but this guy his freaking cute and sexy.

Ken and Carlton's face is getting dark they are starting to dislike him and wants to throw him out, who invites him anyway.

Azalea is starting to feel the icy aura of the two boys in front of her, a warning sign is beaming and her stomach is not full yet but she feels like a war is going to break.

"How about this, why don't you give me your number and I'll give you a call tomorrow." and she gives him a sweet and bright smile.

Riff was astound by her simple smile. "OK, give me your phone." He opened his hand and wait for her to give her phone to him.

'His smart' she was amazed by his gesture.

In Riff's mind if she didn't call him tomorrow then he will call her. His plan is he will dial his phone number in hers that way he can save her number to his phone.

After that Riff left the group. He got what he wanted. And he will just wait for her tomorrow.

On the other table, Jack saw Riff left but before that he saw Azalea handing her phone to him. He knows that Riff took her number, he immediately look at Ken and he saw him in a bad mood, his jealous he presumed.

After dinner the four went on their on way. Ken wants to take Azalea home but she refuse she told him that she brought her own car and she don't want to trouble him. Ken didn't say anything more he just told her to be careful. She just nod and also say the same thing.

When she came home Jack is already in the leaving room. She honestly didn't notice him in the restaurant, they probably leave early than them, she just thought.

"Hey your here already?". She wants to start a good conversation with him.

"Yeah."He answered coldly. But the truth is he just dropped Sue to her place and run off. Sue is keep calling him and asking what's his problem he just told her he's tired then turn off his phone.

"Okay." She don't know what else to say. She is about to take a step when she heard him talk.

"I saw Riff DePinault dine with you." He tried to sound casual while asking.

"Ah, that guy,.....yeah he invited his self in." She didn't deny it besides she knows he is just only tables away from them. So why lie.

"Do you like him."

"What!....who told you that?"

"Well, his a ladies man and almost all woman throw themselves at him." It's a fact that he knows even Sue admittedly likes him and it hurts his pride.

"Please count me out." She looked so gross to the idea of her involved to a guy like Riff.

Jack's lips curved upward knowing he is not her type. "So..... what type of man do you fancy about?".

Azalea's left brows climb a notch in an instant she have no idea why Jack is starting this kind of conversation. "Is this a question and answer portion?". she ask him candidly.

Jack stopped for a moment and shook his head. He himself noticed that he sounded like a person digging for some information. "No, I just want to know if your really a human". Now he is starting to throw a bomb.

"And what do you mean by that?".

"Well you know, true human have likes and dislikes." he's saying this while inspecting his hand and nails.

"Why you.....". Azalea took a deep breath at this moment her fuse is starting to ignite.

But Jack looked at her with a devilish grin. "I don't think you'll going to end up with a good man, with that kind of attitude, you are hopeless." And he smirk at her as if he is winning in some play.

Azalea paused for a while and take a deep breath again. Then she gave him her sweetest smile.

"You know you're probably right I will never end up with a good man and I am very sorry for myself." She make it sounds like her heart is breaking and then she saw a hint of regret in his face and he is trying to say something.

"Because I end up with YOU!" she shouted then she sticks out her tongue and run to her room. She's in full smile while running. She won't let him have the last word.

Jack's face wrinkled in anger. 'That tiny creature, she got the last word again, I can't believe she over smart me.' Thinking he got the lead this time but he lost again.

The servants who are hiding and just watching the bickering of this newlyweds were laughing silently they are becoming accustomed to this they think they're cute together. Maybe one day this fight will turn into something else. They wish.
