I'll Wait For Her

Jack is in his worst day today. He haven't seen Azalea all day and Corbin can't seem to find her.

"Corbin can find anyone in a single click but why can't he find her?". He thought out loud. He is truly bothered.

It's been all day but no words has been heard about her. He is getting agitated.

His phone rings and he saw Butler Chan's number flashing on the screen.

"Master Jack, the madam just arrived". The old butler informed him but his voice seems to be a bit odd.

Jack didn't answered he just ended the call and grab his suit. He's going home.

Outside Corbin and Trey are both walking straight to his office to do some reporting. But before they could knock the door swings open and Jack came out.

"You two come with me". He ordered them and walk ahead.

The two men didn't bothered to ask they just followed him.

An hour later they reached Jack's mansion. Trey was baffled he don't know what they are doing in his cousin's house. He looked at Corbin but he is in his poker face again.

Jack left them in the living room and head straight to Azalea's room. He is taking a long stride. But when he was already in front of her door he stops and calm himself before knocking.

The door opened slightly and only half of Azalea's face is in front of him.

"What is it?". She ask softly.

"Can I come in?". He ask politely.

"No, if you want to say something just say it". Deep inside her she is praying for him not to be as persuasive as Riff.

"Have I done something wrong?". He is surprised with his own question.

His real question is suppose to be `where have you been last night and who are you with` but he sense something off with her. It made him change his question.

"None".

"But why are you avoiding me?".

"I'm not, I just want to be alone and rest for a while".

"Are you sick?". He sounds worried.

"No!". She can't look him in the eyes because right now she is lying. She feels like her face is burning and her whole body is sore but she don't want him to find out.

Jack can sense her. He knows she's hiding something and he wants to find out what is it.

"Okay then just rest I won't bother you again". His eyes is woeful, he feels upset.

Azalea shut the door without looking at him she don't want him to see the lies that her eyes can't cover.

'I'm really, really sorry but I can't see you for three more days'. She was saying this behind the door silently.

She head back to the bathroom and looked at her face again on the mirror. The doctor from the hospital said it will heal 3 to 4 days more. She wants to cry after remembering this, it means she can't face Jack for a long period of time.

"Waahhhhhhh, I am punished, cursed those three idiots". She feels crying but she can't shed a tears. And her face hurts.

On the living room.

Jack's aura is dark after coming back from Azalea's room. The two men are quick to notice his changing moods. They need to focus in everything he will say or else face consequences.

"Trey find out everything that happened to her since yesterday, Corbin find her shop". And he signaled them to go. He'll be staying home for the rest of the day.

Azalea fell asleep and just woke up because of her phone, it is buzzing nonstop.

"Come home now!". The voice is very commanding then hung up.

She looked at her phone and saw the registry, it's her brother Carlton.

"Oh hello to you to little bro, I'm fine don't worry about me, yes I will". She's talking to her cellphone like a crazy person.

She look around and noticed it's almost nightfall. She stands up and head to the shower but before entering the shower room she looked at her bruised again.

"When are you going to heal?". She's talking to her own face.

A quick shower is all she needs and then dressed up. She's not really sure what's going on in Son mansion and why her brother needs her there.

"No dress code needed so I'll wear a jeans and a tee, comfy clothes!". And she's smiling while holding her clothes up.

She went down and about to leave when suddenly she heard a cough. She turned around and found Jack standing behind her.

"Where are you going?". He ask her in a casual way.

He is about to check on her when he heard a fast and almost running footsteps on the stairs. He senses Azalea is about to leave and he wants to know where is she going again.

"My brother needed me, I need to go home". She answered him looking directly to his eyes.

"Okay". Now he believes her. He can tell that she's telling the truth.

Azalea wants to say another word but she held it in. She just looked at him and leave.

"Aren't we going to tell her about the dinner you prepared, master?". Butler Chan is standing behind him.

While Azalea is asleep Jack ordered their chef to cook all her favorite dishes but it should be nutritious and can help her regain her strength. He knows she's not feeling well but she don't want him to know. She probably don't want to bother him.

"Let her be, I know she'll come back later, I'll wait for her". He said calmly.

Butler Chan is showing him sympathy but he didn't know it. He's been a butler in their family for decades now and he knows Jack never waited for someone like this nor been patient with anyone. He is used to being the first to take care of, the first to be served, the first to eat and the first to leave. He never waited for anyone except her. Besides he haven't seen him eat since last night.
