Back in the wolf cave.

"ACTIVATE STRATEGY D."

At that moment all of the worms scattered and started to escape the tunnel. The wolves just thought that they retreated so they decided to clear out the cave in case of any traps, once that was finished they thought that the enemy got intimidated, so they decided to go back outside and look for food since they were hungry, little did they know that something considered them as prey hiding in the ground.

A couple of minutes later.

One of the wolves was minding his one business, looking around for something to hunt, when he felt tremors in the ground, but the second he looked down they went away, he assumed it was just some big animal in the forest. The moment he looked back up the earth sprung up in heaps of dirt, and beneath that dirt was elite soldier ants they all took a moment to bite the wolf and take something out of him, one even went down his throat and started biting him from the inside, that was the one major thing that killed him, after a couple of minutes of just chomping on his insides the wolf died, the same thing happened over around 10 wolves.

Yes, the tactic the mechanic worm decided on using was guerilla warfare, although he didn't get told the name he got told the main focus in the strategy, catch your enemy off guard. It was incredibly effective, as long as a worm got in the mouth of the wolf, they would be done for.

They did this multiple times and after a bit, only one wolf was remaining, the wolf king.

Back over to where Luke is.

"What the hell? What are these worms."

The whole group started asking similar questions, but although they thought it was interesting they weren't very scared since they were just worms, what could they do against their guns, and even if they could match them in firepower what could they do against their 3rd beginner spirit realm cultivator? They were completely confident in this mission.

BOOM!

At the moment when they were about to attack, they noticed someone flop over his head gone.

"WHAT THE FUCK!"

The leader had to take control of the situation, he's had a lot of experience on the battlefield, he knew the importance of an army that was under control because once an army diverged into chaos it was all over.

"GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER MEN PREPARE TO RETURN FIRE."

BOOM! BOOM!

More people started dropping, they knew that they would all die if they didn't start shooting at the worms. The army began to take out their guns load them with bullets and fire at the worms.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

They started shooting at the worms like there was no tomorrow, but the worms didn't back off because of it they kept on attacking eventually there were only 30 people left. They did not despair though because they had one last thing they could do. They started throwing the grenades.

BOOOOOM! BOOOOOOM!

Where ever the grenades landed destruction followed and so did the death of worm soldiers. Although the worms were dying out quickly they did not care because they only thought of one thing while fighting the humans, 'PROTECT THE MOTHER TREE.'

The worms were very dedicated to the mother tree they knew to themselves that if the mother tree were to fall they would be dead first. So they decided to start using explosive ammunition.

BOOOOOM! BOOOOOM!

There were explosions on every side of the field, at this point the construction workers and scavengers started fighting along with the soldiers because they knew that if this battle was lost they would die as well. It was a complete massacre, unlike the war with the ants this one was 10 times bigger and more destructive, as well as more exciting to watch.

As the battlefield near Luke was getting bigger the battlefield near the attacking worms was entering the end.

They were right below the wolf king, the pressure he gave off was intense, enough to keep most animals away from him, but the worms were not driven away because they had a mission on their mind, to slay the wolf king.

RUMBLE!

The ground shook until it eventually broke open dirt flew everywhere as every single soldier left alive popped out of it, to attack the wolf king.

The wolf king was caught off guard, but only for a moment. He quickly adapted to the attack and started to kill the worms, making sure none of them got close enough to hurt him. The wolf was very strong he was able to completely tank the cannon shots and rush towards the worms and kill them off, but this took time, a lot of time, there were almost 250 worms left both elite and ordinary. Although it felt as though it would matter even if they had thousands of the worms as the wolf was strong enough to resist the number game, at least with worms.

Although the mechanic noticed this he didn't know what to do he couldn't think of any way to use their numbers to overcome this gap in strength. He thought and thought again, but he couldn't help but feel something in the air, it felt like an overwhelming strength trying to invade his body.

As the last worm soldier was slain, the mechanic was the only one left on the battlefield. As the wolf was closing in on him he found where the strength was in his body, AND GRIPPED ONTO IT!

BOOOOOOOOM!

A huge explosion commenced immediately afterward, he had done it. He broke through to the 1st beginner spirit realm. Although he was still weaker compared to the wolf king's 3rd beginner spirit realm he had something the wolf didn't, intelligence. He was immediately able to figure out a way to use the newfound qi in his body to kill the wolf king. He prepared to fire a cannonball at the wolf but this time it was different, not only did he coat the cannonball with qi, but he also used qi as an accelerator.

BOOM!

As he shot the cannonball at the wolf it was as though time slowed down for this event, it was all or nothing for the mechanic if this didn't work then nothing would. The cannonball hit the wolf and its head exploded into bloody chunks.

The worms have won the war against the wolves.
