14 Memory

The old man turned his gaze to us which sent me shivers because of a familiar feeling like it's nostalgic feeling.

"Oh grandson good morning" he said but I can hear a sarcastic tone towards Xian "She is in the kitchen with your mother and hmm, who's the beautiful lady beside you?"

"She's Leiva," Xian answered flatly.

"Is she your girlfriend?" He asked Xian then he looked at me again and said "Dear, how does this motherfucker get your heart?" He said in a smooth tone which makes me laugh in a small voice.

"Old man! She's not my girlfriend!" Xian said with a complaining tone.

"Oh so I have a very slow and weak grandson then?" He's grandfather teased.

"Old man, haven't you also forgotten about her? Because she also forgot about you haha." Xian said while laughing.

"Dear, you are Leiva Grave right? Gregorio's granddaughter?" Xian's grandfather asked but his tone is very assured and this makes me frown.

"Uh yes? Uh yeah I am Leiva, Mr. Gregorio Cruz' granddaughter why?" I asked curiously.

"Dear don't you remember me?" He said with a sad tone and I took a look at Xian which is comfortably seated on the sofa.

"It's me, your Grandpa Fernando, your Grandpa Fernan way back when you are still toddler." He said and then some flashback went on my head which made me hold onto the railing of the table and Xin immediately assisted me.

And flashbacks started to make a mess on my mind about the house of our Lolo Greg which is already dead because of the disease which we always visited with Mommy and Daddy back then.

FLASHBACK

"Leiva Grace come here," my grandfather said while I'm playing right here in the living room and as an obedient child I followed it.

"Why did you call me, Gramps?" I asked and I always called him gramps since it was an easy pronunciation.

"Do you know them sweetheart?" He asked then he pointed to the old guy and the young guy who is probably older than me in 2 or 3 years.

"No Grumps," I said then shook my head.

"Gregorio ha ha ha of course it is our first time to meet her with Xian," the older man said, which I think they share the same age as my grandfather.

"Oh.. yes I forgot," my grandfather said then he looked at me while he was hugging me.

"Sweetheart, this is your Grandpa Fernan," my grandfather said.

"Hello! Grandpa Fernan it's nice to meet you," I said with a cheering mood then I turned my gaze to the kid beside him. "Hi Kid it's nice to see you too."

"Don't call me kid, I'm older than you so you are, the KID!!!" The boy shouted, which sent shivers to me so I held my grandfather's clothes.

"Hey, you don't need to shout." Grandpa Fernan urged the boy beside him then he looked at me.

"Dear, he is my grandson Francé,'' he said and I just nodded. "And Francé, she is Grace." He said to his grandson… so he is his Grandfather then, I approached the young boy without frightfulness inside my body.

"Hello Francé! Wow, nice name, France, like where the Eiffel tower was located." I said and I smiled.

"Y-yeah. Hi Grace, nice name too," he said shortly.

"So, were friends now?" I asked not minding the two old men who were watching us.

"Oh sorry but I don't befriend girls because they are crying babies," he said with a teasing look.

"Why?" Hmm, is he mad at me then so he won't be befriending me?

"But you will have an exemption so yeah FRIENDS," he said then he smiled sweetly too then we started playing when our grandfathers talked about important things.

"Oh so you are Grandpa Fernan, Grumps Greg's best friend?" I said after I lost consciousness and I'm here now sitting beside Xian.

"Yes dear," Grandpa Fernan answered.

"Uhm," I said while hiding my shyness.

"Yes dear?"

"Can I have a hug? I missed you the same with my Grumps, " I said, stopping my tears.

"Sure come here dear," he said, then he opened his arms so I could hug him and I started to sob and I took a glance at Xian who was slightly smiling, after I had a hug with his grandfather.

"So if you are Grandpa Fernan, then." I looked at Xian who raised his right eyebrow, "is he the short tempered Francé?" I said then laughed.

"Yes, he is that super skinny Francé back then who used to be your playmate." He said too then laughed and Xian just rolled his eyes.

"Really? Wow you changed skinny kid." I said with a muse and teasing voice then laughed.

"Can you please stop laughing at me," he said angrily while his cheeks turned red and I came near him, then I pinched his both cheeks like gosh, he's so cute.

"This skinny kid back then is handsome now huh? Who would've thought Grandpa Fernan that this ugly duckling had a sexy body now!" I said which Grandpa Fernan just nodded and laughed on, too then he continued drinking his coffee.

"Ow yes you are having a crush towards me more now huh," he teased back so I pushed him away.

"You're so full of yourself" I said then I felt that my smart watch with an apple logo ringed and when i checked it, its a call from my brother Lick and i immediately answered it.

"Excuse me, I'll just answer it." I said and they just both nodded knowing that this may be important.

"Lei!!! Where the fck are you know?" My brother Lick immediately asked after I answered his call on my smart watch.

"Chill old bro why? Hahah." I said laughing on

him he's kinda funny.

"You brat c'mon go home and you'll come with me right? We'll buy a gift for Ely!" He said, reminding me that we should go to the mall that day.

"Ow yeah right wait me up I'm gonna go home I'm in the house of Xian right now." I said informing him.

"Hmmm what are you doing there?" He asked while I was imagining that there's a grin on his lips.

"Long story bye," I said avoiding his teasing again

"Okay bye I love you sweetie," he said and he ended the call.

"Grandpa Fernan, next time again huh I'll need to go home my brother Lick needs me." I said with a sorry tone.

"Lick Bryan? Uhh tell him how he is now huh?" Grandpa Fernan said.

"Sure thing," I said, then I hugged him again before bidding my goodbye.

"Xian took her home," he said commanding his grandson.

And we are now leaving their house and was about to enter the gate of our house too when I spoke a word.

"Hmm you really grown up huh," I said teasing him again with amazement.

"Oh yes it's me, the guy you used to fantasize before," he teased back.

"Hey you jerk no!!" I said.

"Ohh, you're denying now Leiva baby." He said teasing me.

"You're so skinny back then," I said then rolled my eyes.

"Tss at least I'm hot now," he said again confidently. "Go inside your house now," he said then I turned my gaze on our house but it was a way for him to kiss my left cheek and then he ran away.

"Hey you xHITian jerk!!!" I shouted and I noticed there's a person watching us.

"He's so bad right?" I asked our guard who is on duty for this day.

"Ma'am that is fine you two looked good for each other too" he said then smiled

"Hey!!!!!" I complained then he just laughed and I entered our home.
