9 Driver/Bodyguard

I was walking down the stairs and getting ready to go to school while wearing our school uniform which is colored white long sleeves with a color turquoise necktie and a mixture of color turquoise and white above the knee skirt too paired with a still, color turquoise blazer and a school leather shoes.

I was busy walking when I heard the loud laughter of Mr. Lloyd Silva Cruz, my father who seemed to be talking to someone at the living room and I verified it when I reached where they were.

"Oh Leiva dear, are you going to school already?" He asked and then gave a glance to Xian who was staring intently at me, "I suggest that you will go to school with Xian and oh by the way he has been waiting for you since earlier."

Waiting? For me? Hmm but why?

"Okay Dad," I said like an innocent angel and I said again. "Hmm you knew each other already?"

"Yes sweetie and he is the son of Mr. Cuevas the owner of the great Cuevas empire," Daddy said and oh, that explained why this jerk looked wealthy and he really is.

"So guys are close already too?" I asked curiously.

"Yeah, and we are already discussing that from now on you and Xian will go to school together everyday. And he will take care of you since Buz is not always around in your campus and your mom agreed to this too." Dad said coolly but my insides were starting to burst out.

"Daddy!!!!!!!" I shouted enough for them to notice my disagreement, "Where's Mom?" I continued.

"In our room upstairs, move, go to school now and Xian?" Dad called the attention of Xian who is already standing now because he is seated earlier on our sofa.

"Yes Mr. Cruz?" Xian asked.

"Drop the formality kid, call me Uncle Lloyd."

"Uh sure Uncle and what is the thing you want to say to me again?"

"Take care of our baby and if something happened to her you're a dead meat," dad said jokingly and I was just.

"Dad! You were scaring our new neighbor," I complained and dad just laughed and pushed us to leave so Xian bid a goodbye to Dad before going out to house but I left first leaving Xian inside again.

"Goodbye Uncle," I heard Xian's voice then seconds later I felt his presence at my back.

'Hey you made me wait that too long then you'll just leave me like that?" I heard him complaining as I saw his Ford Raptor Car outside our gate which is a kilometer away from our house.

"Hmm let me ask you who the fck told you to wait for me sir? And I'll just go to school using our car and our driver or maybe Dad will drive me to school." I answered back.

"So you'll prefer to disturb them even when I'm here to accompany you and you heard right? From now on you and I will always go to school," he answered longingly as he passed me by to go to his car which I followed too.

"Oh so Dad hired you already as my driver? Slash bodyguard?" I said sarcastically and I smirked to him when we finally reached where his car was parked.

"Goodness gracious I am too handsome to be your driver slash bodyguard baby," he said and smirked too but the way he called me sent me shivers which made me feel like something in my stomach was flying. "And on the other hand you can accompany me on campus since I'm a transferee right?"

"Hmm hmm hmm hmmm," I just answered and shook my head because of the unfamiliar feeling that hit me.

"So let's go," he said and opened the passenger seat door for me and I entered too trying to forget the feeling that I felt.

"So you need to accompany me since you're a transferee? I wonder, do you have no friends yet?" I said trying to kill the awkward feeling inside me. "So, in that case, maybe they don't want you to be their friends because you look nasty and cold." I teased and he just glared at me. "Oh like that you're really a rugged man haha."

"Me? Rugged? Miss, For your information, I am now their class vice president because their previous vice president transferred to another school," he said proudly while driving.

"Really?" I said curiously.

"Yup and I already had a lot of friends and befriending me but I guess, a lot of them are flirting with me and you know what they tend to pass by in our classroom but rumors said that they just want to see me see that? I'm famous now huh?" He spoke so long with a windy tone again which is unusual since we met.

"Woah chill witchman, what kind of potion did you use huh?" I teased.

"Potion? Hahaha piggy Leiva, that's what we called charisma hmm," he said while smirking.

"Charisma my ass," I said and he just laughed coolly why on earth that this guy is so handsome even though he's so irritating.

I noticed that we were already in the campus' parking area and when his car finally stopped I immediately went off not waiting for him to open the door for me and I was about to leave again not saying anything even thank you when he suddenly grabbed my right arm using his strong hands that made me shocked.

"Well well well, Where are you going?" he said and crossed his arm in his chest coolly.

"Going to our building, what do you want me to do? Go to the cafeteria?" I said sarcastically.

"You still owe me a thing," he said coldly.

"Owe?" I asked.

"How forgettable us now huh Leiva, Remember? You said yesterday that you'll be touring me around USTA but you go to the cafeteria with your friends not minding our deal."

"Oww uh hm okay will be…. Doing that for today" I said with shyness. "And just chat me or text me later at lunch when you will be going in our building so I  know later if my schedule is available," I said while holding my fingers together at my back with a small smile in my face.

"Text you?" He asked too.

"Yes." I answered.

"How? I don't have your cell phone number piggy tss," he hissed.

"Oh yeah uhm give your phone."

"Why?" He asked while looking at me.

"Hand me already it so I can save my number," I spoke with a tone of rushly and he gave me his phone then I immediately saved my number and bid my goodbye.

"I'll go now first oldy," I teased then ran away from him but did I already tell you that he is so fcking handsome with the USTA Senior High School Uniform? Who is the color pine green coat and necktie and a white dress shirt underneath and color black slacks.

Gosh... Did I just compliment him again secretly? Oh em, this is bad.

I looked back on when he was standing earlier and there he was busy on his phone and I just continued walking towards our Junior High School building number two when suddenly I felt that my cell phone that was in my pocket on my skirt vibrated.

When I checked it I saw a message from an anonymous number.

From: (unknown cell phone number)l

Hey leiva piggy it's me,

your hottie neighbor ;)

Oh it's none other than the overconfident Xian and I was about to reply to him but I'll be having a shortage in time so I just saved his number and ran towards our classroom and after reaching our classroom I typed a message to him.

To: xHITan

Don't tell me you'll be disturbing me in the whole class hours?

Then ,minutes after sending a message and while walking towards our classroom, I immediately received a message from him.

Then I would not tell you.

To: xHITan

Okay, I can block your number so i can escape you later at lunch bye.

I composed a message then sent to him then his reply made me irritated but i don't know why and what is his reply? Well…

GO ON PIGGY HA.HA.HA.

Then while I was in our corridor I heard someone who said "Oh you look irritated," and even though I would not give a glance to him I knew that the owner of the voice is no other than MJosh.

"Is something wrong?" he continued talking.

"Uhm no haha it's just a jerk messing me up," I replied and smiled.

"Okay but can I invite you later for lunch," and I was about to reply but the handsome face of Xian suddenly flashed to my mind and then I realized that me and we will have lunch later.

"Uhm, MJosh can we do that next time because I have a thing to do later hehe."

"Hmm sure I just have to say something but it can wait so it's fine," he said then smiled while scratching his hair.

"Then why Don't tell me now," I said while frowning and he looked around and he said.

"It's confidential Lei, " and then smiled a little bit.

"Oh...kay." I answered.

"Inform me when you will have free time already huh?" He said and I nodded.

"Why don't say it right now, but I understand you. I'll just inform you.

"Sure thing gotta go and I am gonna meet coach, bye Babe princess." He said and here again that endearment.

I entered our classroom and as usual they are cleaning their respective areas and since Monday is the day that we have a flag ceremony, classes usually started at 7:00 a.m. and then I felt that my phone vibrated again and I thought of a text message.

It is from that guy again.

You met that, guy in the bookshop yesterday huh.

Tss why does he care?

And why do you care? And using a cellphone during class hours huh?

Don't have a class?

I sent and he replied again that fast.

I have, how about you?

I'm waiting for my teacher bye.

I notice that it is already September. Hmm good thing the school still accepted him huh.

"Busy? With chatmate? Text mate?" All of sudden that was said by Freinzz, my guy classmate who is a volleyball player.

"Crazy, there's no way haha." I said as I chuckled.

"Does MJosh have mentioned you earlier?" he asked.

"Nothing special, why?" I replied then he held his chain like he's thinking of something then he mumbled saying.

"Nothing can really beat his stupidity tss, uh I'll just call Niel huh," he said and immediately leave in front of me.

"Okay haha," he's acting weird huh? And what he means by stupidity of who?

And our first class in the first period starts and how unlucky I am because our subject is Mathematics and this subject makes my life difficult…Uh I wish I had a boyfriend who excels in mathematics so he can help me.

My brothers used to help me when I was young because they are really good in mathematics but now, they are both busy. How about getting myself a husband who is a Civil Engineer in the future? haha.
