5 Who The HELL Is ZEUS JOSEPH???...

Shanell reached at the MORE Cafe at 9:50 am. She got down from the car at the front area of the cafe and asked uncle Zen with a pitiful look.

"Uncle Zen, don't come with me now. I want to be alone with my friends. Wait for me to come back in the parking area."

"Yes Miss Williams. We will wait in the parking. If you need anything, please make sure to let me know it." Uncle Zen said and went to parking area with the driver.

She walked faster than usual. She needed to inform her friends about the BIG NEWS and discuss a way to escape from it. When she reached the lawn area she looked around to make sure that there is no one who will recognize her. It's early and there is no rush. She reached the private area and walked towards their favorite place. To her surprise her friends were already there, and they were waiting for her.

"Hey guys, it's a surprise. I didn't expect you all to be here this early. It's not like you guys at all." She said as she slides on to the chair meant for her.

"How can we be late Shan? It's you who called for an E.T." Amaya (Aya) said to her excitedly.

"Yeah, it's so rare for you to call upon us for an E. T. Come on spill the beans, babe." Arohi (Rohi) asked out of curiosity.

When she saw their excitement to know her problem, her face became dull. But they are right she rarely called them for solving her problems. She liked to solve the problems she faces herself. So obviously they will be excited. But they don't know that the news she was going to reveal will be more exciting for them than her calling for an E. T.

"I don't know how you guys will react to it." She said in a pitiful voice.

Hearing her all gloomy, they understood that it's something serious and it's a matter not to considered as a joke.

Cynthia came near her and sat beside her.

"Shan don't be like this. We know we become excited. But seeing you like this is not what we expected. We are sorry. Come on tell us about the problem. We will help you to solve it." Cynthia comforted her.

"Thanks Cyn, I really needed that." Shanell said then paused for a minute to regain her posture.

"Guys, come back to the matter. I want to do a background check on someone." She said in a stern voice.

Frey and Nick took out their laptops and looked at her to say the name.

"Who's the person?" Sam asked.

Shanell looked at her friends and felt like they are her knights in shining armor.

"ZEUS JOSEPH." She said the name.

Aya and Arohi (Rohi) jumped from their seat.

"Ah... Zeus Joseph. Don't you guys know about him?" Rohi asked.

Everyone looked at the both of them.

"Do you know him? Tell me about everything you know." Shanell said.

Aya looked at Rohi. Rohi looked at others and said.

"Sorry guys I should have told you about it."

"What is it, Rohi?" Sam asked.

"Zeus Joseph, he is known as the king of the business world now. He is very genius; he made Zeus Corporation famous internationally in just six months after becoming the CEO. Also, he became the powerful and richest man in the country. Only very few people have seen him. My dad wants me to date him and make him future son-in-law. Only Aya knows about it."Rohi said.

"WHAT???" Shanell asked out of shock.

She didn't know anything about Zeus Joseph. But when she heard what Rohi said, she felt some uneasiness she has never felt before. Rohi like him now, so she can't tell them the truth at least for now.

Rohi gave me a puzzled look and continued.

"I have been trying very hard to meet him but his secretary never let me pass her and have a single glance of him. I send numerous gifts to him but every gift is returned without even opened. I had doubt about his sexual orientation, so I tried to have a background check on his sexual life and found that he never dated anyone before. Every business men who have a daughter tried to get him but failed."

"So you are saying that he is gay." asked Frey.

Shanell became dumbfounded by the thought of being the wife of a gay CEO. Now it becomes more important to her to not marry him. She looked at Rohi with an expression to continue to talk about him.

"Yeah, I doubted that too, but he 'never dated anyone' includes men. So I looked on how he treated the girls who approached him and found that he never treated them with any feelings. Moreover, everyone who knows about him secretly calls him the 'coldhearted devil'. I think he is more asexual than a gay." Rohi finished.

"Are you sure about it Rohi?" Shanell asked.

"I am not certain about it. It's just my conclusion from what I knew about him. By the way why are you interested in him?" Rohi asked her.

Now Shanell know that Rohi is interested in him, and she has been trying hard to make him love her, but he never ever gave an opportunity to her or anybody. Even if she tries hard to cancel this marriage it won't happen because the marriage was not decided by her it was the decision of their family and only he can make this marriage stop or not to happen. But she is little surprised by the feelings occurring inside her head when she heard Rohi told about him and the way she said his name with a sugar coat on it. Even though she said he is coldhearted but the softness in her voice when she started saying about him caught Shanell's interest. So she thinks it is better not to tell the truth about her interest in him and keep it a secret for now.

"It's about the new business collaboration between our entertainment company Moonstar Entertainment and their Zeus Entertainment. My dad told me to do it and I think I am not ready for it. But he insisted, so I can't get away from it. Then I think about it and concluded to give my all. That is why I needed to know about him more so that I can impress him in our first meeting itself." Shanell said.

The expression on her friends face told that they believed it except Nick and Sam. Since they were her best friends from her childhood, they knew when she lies. So they gave her a look to follow them and said.

"We are going to restroom. You guys look for more details about the king Zeus Joseph and his empire Zeus Corporation."

Shanell followed them to the restroom and when they reached there they both gave her a look with an expression 'Tell the truth now'. She looked at them.

"I should have known that you will know when I lie." She said.

"Yeah you should have known that." Sam said.

"OK I will tell the truth. But before that you have to make a promise to me." She told them.

Without thinking twice they answered.

"We promise you anything. Now tell us everything."

"You should have thought about it I could literally make you guys do anything I want by saying you promised me." Shanell teased them.

"Oh really, Shan. Don't try to change the subject." Nick gave her an annoyed look.

"OK I surrender. But promise that you won't say anything I am going to say to anyone not even our friends."Shanell asked them seriously to confirm it is the secret just between the three of us.

"So it is something serious, isn't it?" Sam asked.

"OK Shan we promise it is the secret between the three of us." Nick said and Sam joined it with a promising smile.

"I am going to marry this Sam Zeus and it will probably happen after I become eighteen years old. My dad told me to prepare for the marriage." She said with a depressing expression on her face.

They looked shocked. Nick's jaw dropped down, and she became mute for a second.

"WHAT?? MARRIAGE?? But you will be eighteen in two months and there's no time to prepare mentally and also physically. That is not the main problem you don't even know this guy." Nick blurted out in the next second.

"I know Nick but I can't do anything, the only one who can stop this wedding is Sam Zeus. That's why I needed your help and asked you guys to come. But now I know Rohi have feelings towards him, so I can't say the truth to everyone." She said.

"We know Shan, but we can help you don't you know that." Sam said to comfort her.

"OK let's go back. Otherwise, they will come looking for us." Shanell said and they went back to their gang.

They ordered some coffee and began to search about Zeus Joseph. They ordered some people to investigate about him, and they all tried their best to find more information by searching the internet. By 1.00 pm they got a call from the people they hired to investigate on Zeus Joseph, and they disappointed them. They worked very hard and the result was not satisfying.

Shanell sighed and thanked them for helping her. She then bid her farewell and called uncle Zen to inform him to come and pick her from the main entrance of the cafe. She finished the call and put her cell phone in her handbag. Suddenly her phone rang. She took out the phone from her handbag and looked at the screen. A private number displayed on the screen. She answered it.

"Hello, who is this?" She asked.

An unknown male voice replied her.

"If you wanted to know about me, you just needed to ask me, my dear. Why did you hire people to have my background checked?" The voice on other side asked me with an overbearing tone.

She was surprised by the question and blurted out with a shaking voice without knowingly.

"Z... Z... ZEUS JOSEPH...???"
