19 The Reality 1

This was what Drake imagined and said to Tyler and Brian when he reached at Zeus Construction. His imagination made his brother and Sister-in-law in deep love. So he imagined something completely different from reality. Actually he forgot about his brother's true nature at that time.

What really happened is, on the way to Zeus Construction Drake called Zeus and asked about the situation. Zeus told him about Shanell's doubt, and he didn't want to clear her doubts now. He said, it is not the time for that and also told Drake about the things he discussed with Mr. Williams Van.

When Drake reached at Zeus Construction parking area, he saw Tyler and Brian waiting for Shanell. They were very anxious so he approached them and said.

"Ty don't worry I am going to explain how my big bro will use his charm to divert sister-in-law's mind from those doubts." Then he said everything he imagined earlier to them with excitement. But both Tyler and Brian couldn't accept it because they knew Zeus will never do such a technique to divert her mind. Even though they wanted Drake's imagination to be real they just didn't accept it.

But in reality this is what was happening in the office.

Lisa closed the door behind Shanell and went back to her desk. She immersed herself in the work. Since Zeus instructed her to make enough time in his schedule to spend with Shanell, she has become busy in this afternoon. Lisa knew that Zeus won't be happy if he is interrupted by something when he is talking with Shanell. Somehow the boss becomes genuinely different person when he is with Shanell. His aura changes its nature from winter to spring. Lisa thought to herself because she witnessed it earlier and made some calls to clear Zeus's schedule for the afternoon.

Shanell was starting to imagine things similar to what Drake have imagined and when she heard the sound of door closing she regained her consciousness from her wild thoughts and came back to reality. Ever since she knew about the marriage arrangement her imagination level has been hyped to an extremely high point and making her has such wild thoughts.

Shanell looked around Zeus's office. It was huge and cozy. There was a couch, a coat hanger, a bookshelf and Zeus's desk. On his desk there was a desktop, a pen holder and some files. It was similar to what she has imagined.

Zeus was diligently going through a file when Shanell entered the office room. He immediately has withdrawn his attention from the file when he heard her entering and looked at Shanell. Shanell tried to be calm but the thought of Zeus being dishonest with her made her angry again. Shanell calmed herself down a bit and walked towards Zeus's desk.

Zeus stood from his chair and led her to the direction of the couch and gestured her to sit on the couch. Then he sat opposite to her, but he didn't spoke a single word. Shanell alerted her mind to not be deceived by his charming act.

He sat there without doing anything and looked at her. His gaze was so intense so Shanell withdrew her eyes which unconsciously met his eyes.

She could no longer hold on to the questions in her mind. She finally decided to ask every question on her mind to him. Otherwise, she will be deceived by him again and won't be able to ask anything so Shanell tried her best to get a grip on her thoughts.

"Zeus, I want to know the truth so please be honest with me." Shanell said in a stern voice without any hesitation.

After saying those words, she examined Zeus's expression.

He was sitting there with a calmed look on his face. Zeus was ready for her interrogation session. And Shanell couldn't find any difference in Zeus's expression. So she tried to ask him about why he never let her know that he knew about their marriage arrangement earlier.

"Zeus, are you hiding anything from me? If that is true, can you let me know about it?" Shanell asked hoping he will tell her truth.

"So you heard about it, who told you that? Is it Drake?" Zeus asked her without giving reply to her questions.

"I asked you something, why are you not replying but asking me who told me about your secrets?" Shanell asked again and now she is in anger.
