4 The MORE Cafe

She asked her brother to inform her if anything happens. Then she went to her dad's study and asked his permission for going out to meet with her friends. Since her friends were from rich families, her dad allowed her to go, because it will be safe for her to be around the rich people than commoners.

She never had any discrimination like that but whenever she had a commoner friend they ended up being hurt by her dad. So she tried to make rich friends and avoided most of the commoners. She went to uncle Zen.

"Uncle Zen, I have an appointment with my friends at 10 am in 'The MORE Cafe'. Please take me there before it's late."

"Yes, Miss Williams." He replied and went to bring her new Porsche to the front.

She got in the car. She recalled the memories about how they first went to The MORE Cafe. It was about 2 years ago. They were in high school then, and they got a 'shopping weekend' once in every two weeks. That was the only time they could go out of their school other than the vacations. On that weekend they can go wherever they want, they can do whatever they like, but at the end of the Sunday they must be present in their dorm and the attendance will be taken by the warden. So that, nobody will miss any of the classes.

Once on a shopping weekend she and her friends planned to go for a hiking at the east side of the city where there is a small forest and hills. They decided to camp at the top of the hill for a day. So they packed their bags and went on their hiking on the Friday evening after the class.

They informed the warden about their plan just to make sure that if anything went wrong then someone should know about their whereabouts. They did it out of fear also because they all were daughters of high class prestigious rich families with many enemies who were waiting for a chance to strike at their families. So they didn't want to mess up any of this little freedom they get from their families. Thus, they went to the campsite in two cars which was actually rented just to avoid any attention towards them.

On the way to their destination they stopped for dinner at a new cafe in the city. Its theme was mainly focused on having great food in an environmental friendly place. Its exterior was filled with beauty of nature and greenery. There was a small pond in front of it. The pond was a natural pond. The owners of the cafe tried to maintain it as it is. And they succeeded in their attempt. From the first look itself we can say that they have really worked hard to make the cafe environment friendly. That was the first attraction which made us to stop to grab a bite.

The parking was also interesting. They made a path with two lanes which had different trees on either side of it. The lanes were divided by different plants having colorful flowers on it and small fountains are placed at a certain distances, which leads to the large parking area with an arch having some kind of plant which had spread over it. They parked their cars and went inside the cafe.

The cafe had a peaceful ambiance which was created by the instrumental music played on the background. It gave a calm feeling to the customers who come there. They had a slightly dim lighting. And the main attraction inside the cafe was the lawn area at the center portion of the cafe it had a large tree in the middle which gave shade to almost complete lawn area. It had swings on its branches for the children. The girls understood that the lawn area was created just to preserve that big tree which was probably staying there for many years. There were many customers even though it's only opened in a few days ago. They had a private area also for the customers who want their privacy. So they went straight to the private area. They saw a place which can not see from the lawn area, but they can see everything that happens in the lawn, so they went to that place. They ordered the food and waited them to serve.

While they were waiting, they started chatting and Veronica showed us a couple sitting at the lawn area.

Shanell looked at the couple; the girl was dressed like a doll. She was wearing a floral dress with a light make up and she wore a beige colored high heels. The guy was wearing a black shirt and ripped jeans. The girl was blushing when the guy hold her hands and said something to her. Then Veronica looked at Shanell, and she had a devilish smirk on her face.

"So Shan, shall we play a small game." Nick asked her (Nick is the name they call Veronica and Shan is the name what my friends call Shanell). Shanell gave her a confused look and said.

"Why are you specifically asking me to play the game Nick?"

She looked at everyone and said.

"Guys, you all know that we all have dated at least once in our life. But our dear Shan didn't. So I want her to take a challenge."

Everyone looked at Nick and waited her to complete.

"The challenge is she has to go up to that couple sitting in the lawn area and ask the guy to go on a date with her. It is not matter if the guy agrees or not. But she has to ask him herself in front of that girl. How many are with me?"

Shanell was shocked by the challenge she gave her. She was not that shy to ask a guy out but this was too much because the guy she has to ask on a date is literally on a date. How can she ruin someone's date? She looked at her friends if anyone is opposing Nick's challenge. But they all supported her. So she looked at Samara with pleading eyes who was the only one who will oppose this nonsense. But she also refused to help her.

"Don't show your puppy eyes to me Shan it won't work today. I am with Nick." Samara said to her.

Shanell gave a death glare to Nick; she chuckled and pretended as dead by Shanell's glare. Then she stood from her chair and slowly walked towards the lawn area where the couple was sitting. She was shivering just because she feared the reaction from the girl will make any harm to her. So she looked back at her friends for a 'retreat from her mission' order from them. But she didn't get a positive reaction from them. So she turned towards the couple and moved forward with her shivering legs.

"Excuse me Sir; may I have a word with you, please?"

She interrupted the couple's date and their show on affection in public. They looked at her and scanned her from head to toe.

She was wearing a top trending custom-made dress which can only bought by some celebrity people nowadays.

The girl had a 'Who the hell are you?' look on her face. The guy had a smirk on his face, and he asked her.

"Do I know you, Miss?"

"No, you don't know me. I just saw you now and you were talking to this pretty lady here. I liked the way you talked to her very much. You look handsome and talks like a gentleman. Your charisma gave me the courage to come here and talk to you. Can I ask you something?" She said to him with a questioning look.

"Yes miss, what do you want to ask me?" He asked her.

"Uh... So I was going to say that... 'Will you go on a date with me?' Please." She asked him.

The girl who was irritated by Shanell's presence itself jumped on to her feet and tried to grab her hair. She dodged and the guy blocked the girl from harming Shanell. He asked her to calm down for a moment and turned towards Shanell.

She looked at the girl over the guys shoulder and saw the fire on her eyes. She knew that fire could burn her to death. She was expecting him to reject her politely, and then she can pretend that she was hurt by his answer and run out of the lawn area. She planned every movement she has to take after his rejection. She was returned to the reality by his voice.

"Yes Miss, I will gladly go on a date with you?"

When the girl heard this, she became furious. She picked her handbag and slapped the guys face with the bag and left the cafe. Everyone around them were having fun by watching the show she put for them. But she was stunned by his answer she has never thought that he will accept her offer to go on a date. Before she could say anything Nick came to her side and asked her in a seductive voice.

"Are you cheating on me, babe?"

Shanell looked at her with 'what is she doing now' look on her face. She gave her the signal to play along, so she did that. She massaged her forehead and said.

"No darling, I just wanted to know that if I go to a man how will you react to that?"

"That was rude, babe. Come let's go."She said before clung on to Shanell's hand and kissed her on the cheeks.

Shanell looked at the guy and saw that he was completely at loss. So she said.

"I am so sorry sir. I was just curious to know something about my girlfriend and put a show. As I saw the both of you together I thought this was the time to clear my doubts. I thought you will reject me sir. I am not interested in any man. I am truly sorry to putting you in such a situation. I apologize for what I caused you sir."

Then she took out a five thousand dollar cheque from her handbag and gave it to him then left with Nick to their friends. They saw the guy rushing out of the cafe with the cheque she gave him.

As the both of them reached the table where their friends sat, Shanell put on a questionable look.

"Oh Come on Shan, didn't you enjoy it?" asked Freya.

"Really, Frey?" She asked her and looked at Nick.

"Stay right where you are Shan. Don't try to come near me. I will explain everything." Nick said as she read Shanell's thought of hitting hard on her head.

"Two minutes, start." Shanell ordered.

"Shan I saw how he looked at you when we passed him. He was with his girlfriend but still he looked at you like you are some delicious food or something. After we reached at this table I looked him and his eyes were searching for you in the lawn area. That's why I pulled a trick on him and made him break up with his girlfriend. At least she deserves better don't you think so. Please forgive me if I offended you my dear Shan." She finished explaining in two minutes.

Shanell sighed. Later they had the food and it was delicious. Then they went to their hiking and camping. That was the first memory they had at The MORE Cafe. After that, they went there at every shopping weekend. The more they went there the more they know about the cafe and its owners. As the name says, the more they know about it the more they liked it. She thinks, that is why they call it The MORE Cafe.
