17 Take Care Of Your Sister She Needs You

Drake was startled when he heard Shane's question. And arranged his thoughts and said.

"Shane, it is a very important thing and your sister may know it today, because she is meeting my brother right now, and they might be arguing. So I need to tell you this first. You have to take care of your sister she needs you now more."

"Please don't beat around the bush, bro Drake. You have to tell me exactly what is going on? Why are you asking me to take care of my Nells?"

"Shane it is hard to explain but when they talk your sister might become sad and I think only you can help her in that situation." Drake tried hard to explain the situation to Shane.

"What the hell is he going to tell her? I will not spare him if he hurt my Nells..." Shane said and his eyes have a fire in it which was fuming with rage.

"Shane calm down and listen to me..."

Drake asked Shane and explained everything happened nine years ago. How their dad asked Zeus to agree to this arranged marriage and how he come to check on her and knew about her, and how he harshly refused any other girls who approached him. How he eventually fell in love with Shanell and waited for the day he could meet her.

Drake explained to Shane everything that happened after Zeus agreed to this arranged marriage who was keenly listening to every words Drake said. Shane's expression changed while he listens to Drake and after hearing everything Shane was stunned. He never thought that 'the legendary cold-hearted devil' the one who treated every girl cruelly had to do all those things because he fell in love with Shanell.

Shane was stupefied. His face revealed what was going on in his mind.

"Shane, I know it is hard to believe but you have to understand that not only your sister had difficulties because she was brought up as someone who has to marry some rich guy for family business collaboration. But my brother also had to take a difficult path. He has never seen her until their first date. He waited all these years for her, and he could have just dated some random girls and enjoyed his life, but he refused everything because he felt that it will not be fair for Shanell. My big brother cares about your sister and loves her more than anyone. So please give my brother a chance."

Shane thought about what he heard and he become happy. Because he always wanted Shanell to be overwhelmed by love in her life and that was the only reason he never agreed to this marriage. But knowing Zeus's feelings the only thing he could do is agree to the marriage.

"Bro Drake I am sorry I didn't know anything about it. Our parents told us about it a few days ago, and I was angry that I thought they were trying to use her for business collaboration. But now I know everything and I think I will only agree one in this world to be my brother-in-law and it is bro Zeus."

Drake was relived and smiled weakly.

"Bro I was saying this to you because I think sister-in-law may know it from my brother today. And if she knows it and feels like we lied to her then she will become sad and I want you to take care of her. And also if she didn't know it please keep it a secret from her, so that, my brother will be the one who tell her about it."

"I will take care of Nells don't worry. But I can't lie to Nells. So I can't promise that bro Drake."

"Oh... It's okay but make sure that you will make her happy if she is sad. Even though she is not my sister-in-law now but one day she will be my sister-in-law and I like her so much so that I don't want her to be unhappy because of my crappy brother. He can do whatever he wants and make anyone unhappy but not my sister-in-law. He should know that his wife is the boss and not him." Drake said the last sentence with a smile and Shane agreed it.

It was getting late and Shane had to attend his foreign language class, so they bid their goodbye. Shane went home and Drake took a cab and went straight to Zeus Construction.
