23 I am his new secretary

They talked about what Zeus told to Williams and decided to proceed with what Zeus have told. Then to inform Shanell about the interview Williams called a maid and ordered to her to call Shanell to his study room.

Shanell came to her dad's study room after changing and saw that apart from her dad, her mom and even Shane were present there. She smiled looking at her brother and greeted her parents.

"You wanted to see me, dad?" she asked.

"Yes Shan, we wanted to discuss about something important to you."

"Is it about me becoming Zeus's new secretary?"

"Oh you knew it. How? Did Zeus called you to inform about what we have discussed after our meeting?"

"Yeah dad, something like that happened." she said while her smile vanished now and a gloomy face is revealed. Shane saw her change of expression, he immediately went near her and hugged her. Shanell was shocked by her brother's sudden hug but she hugged him back.

Then the urge to cry came back and she couldn't control it. She started sobbing in his embrace and his shirt instantly became wet by her tears.

Shane gently patted on his sister's head and started to comfort her. Seeing how Shanell cried in her younger brother's embrace her parents felt relived. Because even if they are not with their both children, they knew their children loved eachother very much and will be there for eachother.

"Shane, take your sister back to her room."Jiya asked to her son.

"Yes mom" Shane replied and both of the siblings went back to Shanell's room.

Shanell was still in her brother's arms when they both reached her room and after few minutes passed like that, now her sobs went down a little. So Shane decided to let her go from his embrace. He looked at his sister who has became a mess due to her crying and started to smile at her.

"What are you smiling at, you little brat?" Shanell asked him annoyingly.

"Look in the mirror and you will also start to smile, Nells."He replied his sister.

She immediately went to look at mirror and when she saw her reflection on it a smile slowly find a way back to her lips.

"Wow... why did you mess my hair like that, you brat? You don't even know how to pat on someone's head without making a mess on their hair?" She asked him.

"What?? I tried to comfort you a little and this is what I get back? Sis you are too much."

Shanell rolled her eyes at her brother's reply. She fixed her hair and came back to her bed and sat near Shane who already sat on it when Shanell went to fix her hair.

"So sis, why did you cried? Did anything happened?" Shane asked her and she told everything happened at Zeus Construction to him in detail.

Shane understood the reason why his sister cried. It was because Zeus is keeping secrets from her and lying to her. He thought for a while about telling everything to his sister but he remembered his promise and also he thought that the truth should come from his brother-in-law. Otherwise she will be more sad. So he tried to comfort his sister by all means.

"So sissy, you decided to join Zeus Construction?" He asked her after sometime.

"What's with the new nickname?"

"Oh come on, can't I call you nicknames? And it is a good one too so just answer my question?"

"Yeah I decided bro. You know it is not difficult for your smart sister because I have been doing it for my entire life."

"Yeah you have."

Drake entered into Zeus's office room and saw his brother in anger. He stood near the door and asked.

"Bro, what happened here when you talked to sister-in-law? She was angry and you are also angry. Did something happened when you two were alone?"

"Nothing happened"

He replied irritated when he heard his brother's question.

"Something really happened. Tell me bro. I can help you if you need any help. So tell me what is it?"Drake asked again in curiosity.

Zeus gave a glare to his brother and went back to his unfinished job. Drake ran towards his brother's table and kept on asking for a few minutes more. Zeus got irritated by his younger brother and said a vague details about what happened.

Drake understood that his brother can never lie to his wife.

The truth about his love for her will be unraveled in no time. Drake thought to himself and smiled at his big brother.

"Bro I will help you to solve sister-in-law's distant attitude because of today's problem. But please reconsider about what you ordered to me after she left. You too know that those projects need more time, so please big brother."

Drake pleaded infront of his big brother and even Zeus knew those projects can't be done in one week and he said that to Drake because he was angry at his brother. So he nodded to indicate that he agreed to his brother's pleas.

Drake jumped around the room when he saw his brother agreed to him.
