28 He Really LOVES Me Too Much

"Yesterday so many things happened and I put the bits and pieces together. Then I reached in conclusion at last and it is that Zeus loves me. He truly loves me too much." Shanell said and began to think about the things happened.

(Flashback to the time Shanell and Shane spend after their meeting with their parents)

Shane tried to comfort Shanell after he heard what happened in Zeus Construction.

"Nells don't be sad because of what brother-in-law said to you. If he says that he will tell you everything, then it means he will. You just wait for him to open up to you." Shane said with concern.

Shanell was surprised by his words. Till yesterday Shane never considered Zeus as his brother-in-law, but suddenly he is calling him brother-in-law. Shanell had a doubt in her eyes, but she immediately changed her expression so that Shane won't see the doubt in her eyes.

"I know Shane. But somehow it is painful." She said.

"Nells, you know that I love you so much and I will never let anything or anyone to hurt you, right?"

"Yes"

"Then trust me if you can't trust bro Zeus. I will make sure that you will be happy with bro Zeus." He said in determined voice.

"Awww... My little brother is grown to a man now."She teased him while pinching his both cheeks.

Shane showed an annoyed look and in the next instant he changed back to serious and asked her by grabbing her hands on his cheeks.

"So sissy, you decided to join Zeus Construction?"

"WHAT???" Both Sam and Nick screamed through the phone.

"Girls stop screaming in my ears."

"Sorry, but how did you reached at this conclusion?" Sam asked still showing excitement in her voice.

"Yes, How? Why? What?" Nick still in her dramatic self asked again.

Shanell said about how her brother reacted to her crying to them.

"Did Shane actually accept him as his brother-in-law? No way. How is that even possible? He will never accept someone like Zeus as his sister's husband no matter what." Sam said in confusion.

"I know right. That is when I started to put the pieces of this puzzle together."

"No way, Sam are you thinking what I am thinking?" Nick asked.

"Hell yeah." Sam replied.

Both of them know Shane very well. Apart from his sister Veronica and Samara are the closest friends of Shane. So they know how much Shane will oppose to this marriage.

"He knows the truth too. He is hiding it too" Nick said.

"Yes he knows the secret, and he is supporting Zeus like he has never seen a better man like Zeus ever in his life which concludes to the only solution. Zeus loves me enough to let my own overprotective brother to let him give permission to marry me." Shan said.

"Wow that is right. So is that why you said you know the secret, but that is not the secret I guess?" Sam said.

"I know Sam let me finish first. As I have told you guys about everything happened in these days did you guys see any connection?" Shanell asked.

"What connection?" Nick asked.

"There are some points which match perfectly you idiot. The things like Zeus knowing about this arranged marriage, Zeus being harsh towards every woman except his mother, relatives and friends, Zeus asking Shan to not leave him, our overprotective Shane supporting the devil Zeus when he came to know about the truth, coincidentally Zeus's best friends became Shanell's bodyguards and most importantly Zeus being sweet and warm towards Shan." Sam analyzed everything clearly and said to Nick.

"What the hell??? So what you are saying is that, there is really no secret but the only thing Zeus trying to hide is the things he done for Shan without her knowledge." Nick said surprised.

"Yes guys he has fallen in love with me since forever, and he tried to do everything to protect me, and he tried to know me better than anyone. He is extremely sweet towards me. He will do anything for my happiness even though he doesn't like it. Zeus is trying to give everything what I thought I will never get."Shanell said.

"Wow Shan you are very lucky to have someone this loyal to you and love you more than anything." Sam said.

"I know girls, I love him too. But I want him to tell me everything after he knew about our marriage."

"Don't worry Shan he will tell everything soon." Nick said.

"Girls I have to go now. It is getting late to get back to my work. I will talk to you guys later. Bye..."

Shanell hung up and went back to her work.
