12 He Fell In Love With Me???

Shanell and Drake went inside the restaurant, and they both looked like they have been friends for a long time. They ordered some dishes and while waiting for it they started to chat again.

"Okay Drake, now answer my question that I asked before."

Drake instantly switched to his serious mode and asked.

"About that question, Shanell why did you ask that question to me instead of my brother?"

Shanell remembered how Zeus reacted to her question, so she tried to be calm and answered.

"Ugh... I have my reasons."

"Shanell you genuinely don't know that he-my big bro-have showed his warm side only to you in so many years. He was so cold that even our parents wouldn't ask him anything which make him angry. I was the only one who could ask or do anything which makes him angry. Even though he beat the crap out of me when I did something like that, I somehow knew that he will come around one day."

"But... I don't understand, even you are saying something like this which is so similar to what I heard about Zeus when I investigated and the Zeus I know is entirely different!!! Maybe it's because I honestly don't know anything about him..."

"No sister-in-law, it's because my brother is in love with you."

"WHAT??? IN LOVE WITH ME? ARE YOU CRAZY DRAKE? WE ONLY HAD MET TWICE...JUST TWICE...AND YOU THINK YOUR BROTHER FELL IN LOVE WITH ME..."

Drake smiled and asked Shanell to calm down and drink some water. So that, he could explain a bit. Shanell drank half glass of water offered by Drake. Then she sighed and looked at Drake to explain what he said.

"Shanell, it is true that you both have only met twice but my brother has known the agreement between our parents for a long time. I think now you can imagine how he feels about you."

"He knew about the marriage agreement for a long time!!?"Shanell asked with a surprised tone.

"Yes Shanell."

"And Drake did you also know about it? Is it me and my brother who didn't know anything about it?" Shanell was in the edge of losing her temper. She tried hard to not lose it.

"No... I didn't know about it. Only after brother came back I came to know about everything." He explained as he saw that things are not going in the way he thought.

"I am going to washroom." Shanell said and rushed towards the washroom.

Drake was scared that if Zeus knows about how he messed up the situation than clearing it, then Zeus will literally kill him without any mercy.

Shanell opened the door to the washroom furiously and it hit the wall with a banging sound. Everyone in the restaurant heard the sound and looked towards the place where it came from. Drake became anxious and couldn't wait by sitting there. So he immediately went towards the washroom and stood outside the door and asked Shanell.

"Shanell, are you alright? I heard some sound coming from here???"

"I am alright Drake, just go back to the table. I will be there in a minute." Shanell shouted so that Drake could hear her.

Drake went back to their table and saw that everyone is looking at him. He apologized for the inconvenience caused by them then waited for Shanell to come back.

In the washroom, there were two women who were at their twenties watched Shanell and commented each other.

"Boyfriend drama... Look at us we don't even have a boyfriend and why children at this young age have to show off like this?" First woman said.

"You are right. They should be studying right now and not dating." Second woman added.

Shanell glared at them, and they stopped commenting and left in a hurry. She looked in the mirror and asked to her.

"Why am I so furious right now? My entire life was planned by others and I have already accepted it and I never complained. Only once I had to fight for what I truly wanted. I have kept my smile in many rough situations. But now this... Why does it hurt me? Why I feel like Zeus betrayed me?"

She then took out her phone and called Shane.

"Shane..."

"Nells, what happened? Why is your sound so dull? Where are you? I am coming, text me the address right now."

"Shane doesn't come. I was just upset and I don't know what to do. So I called you."

"Nells, who made you upset? AND WHERE THE HELL IS YOU RIGHT NOW?"

"I will tell you later just calm down. Now I feel like I shouldn't have called you."

"WHAT? Can't I be worried about my sister? And stay there I will be there in half an hour, we can have lunch together."

"SHANE... DID YOU REALLY TRACE MY PHONE LOCATION NOW?"

"Sorry sis, I have to because you didn't tell me where you are?"

"I swear to god--today you will taste my beating."

"Whatever. Wait for me okay."

"Shane I am not alone."

"What do you mean by 'not alone' sis?"

"I am with Zeus's brother, Drake."

"Is he the one who made you upset, Nells?"

"Ugh... no."

"Anyway I am on my way so just stay there."

"Okay my OVERPROTECTIVE BROTHER."

She hung up the call and went back to Drake.

"Why did you take so much time? I was worried to death. Do you know if anything happens to you what will my brother do to me?" Drake asked in worry.

"I was attending a call from my brother. And he said he is coming over to have lunch with us."

"Okay. It will be better if your brother is also here. And Shanell I know what I said earlier gave you a shock. But please don't tell my brother that I told you about it. He will tell everything to you when the time is right. So please be patient. He will, I know that and please don't be angry. When you were angry you were scarier than my brother."

She smiled and then they continued to chat about Zeus.

"So your brother knew that he couldn't have a real girlfriend, so he never dated. Is that what you are saying Drake?"

"Yes. Since he knew about the marriage arrangement, he never tried to show how he feels about women. He rarely had female friends and barely hangout with them. Even I tried to show some girls to him, but he never showed any interest and the gossips about him being a gay or an asexual started to spread."

Even though I told Shanell that my brother refused to be with any girls is because he could never make them his real girlfriend and have to marry the girl our parents arranged, I kept the rest of the story to be revealed by my brother to her. Drake thought himself.

The dishes they ordered are ready to serve but Drake asked the waiter to wait for a fifteen minutes. So that, Shane could join them.
