30 Do you think my Big Brother is more Handsome than Me?

Shanell looked at him without even blinking her eyes. Zeus saw her reaction at his question. How she is looking at him in utter surprise!!! He started to get nervous again. He thought to himself if he have said something wrong to get a reaction like this. After a few seconds of awkward silence between them he decided to break that.

"Ugh... I am sorry. I shouldn't have asked something like that out of blue. I am really sorry." He said looking in her eyes but instantly removing his eyes from hers after completing the sentence.

Shanell was still in shock and still staring at him without saying anything. She didn't even respond to his apology. Zeus couldn't take the stare anymore, so he called her.

"Shanell... Please say something."

Shanell snapped out of her shock.

"I... Ugh... I don't know how to respond to your request?"

"I can understand. It's my mistake. I am extremely sorry." He apologized again.

"You don't have to apologize, Zeus. It's just that... I never expected you to ask something like that. That's all."

A small smile returned to his lips and his nervousness slightly decreased.

"Why dear? Did you believe the fake rumours about me?"

"To be honest, I did Zeus."

"You said 'did' and not a 'do'?"

"Yes Zeus, you heard it right. I said 'did' not a 'do'."

"May I know why?"

"Because after meeting you personally, I started to have doubts about the rumours. You are a warm person, maybe the most warmest person I have ever met which is exactly opposite of the rumours about you."

This time Zeus's eyes were opened widely. He never thought Shanell will say something so good about him after everything happened, after every secrets he keeping from her, after pushing her to marry him at an early age. He looked at her thinking everything happened on both of their lives.

"Aren't you going for the meeting? It's getting late, Zeus." Shanell looked at her wrist watch and said. Zeus came back to reality when he heard her and replied.

"Oh... See you later my dear."

He turned and walked towards the elevator. When he reached infront of the elevator he stopped and pressed on the button for the elevator to reach his floor and waited. A few minutes later the elevator door opened infront of him. He was going to enter inside the elevator when someone grabbed his right hand and pulled him backwards.

Before he could recognize what is happening, he felt a soft lips on his right cheek and a palm on his left cheek. Both Zeus's and Shanell's heart started to beat faster at the sudden touch of the skin. In the next second Shanell ran back to her work space. Zeus didn't understand what really happened but when he understood what happened he looked back towards Shanell. He saw a red cheeks and a shy smile on her. She waved at him to enter in the elevator. He smiled and waved back then entered in the elevator.

Both of their eyes were on each other and then the elevator door closed between them.

Zeus think about what happened a second ago while his left hand suddenly reaching his fast beating heart and clenching on his suit and right hand on his cheek were Shanell kissed. He was breathing heavily.

It was not a kiss it was merely a peck. But it really made him doubt that his heart will explode due to the fast beating caused by that small gesture.

He breathed in and out for the next few seconds to get his breathing and heart beat under control. He closed his eyes and rewind everything happened again and his cheeks were changed to a light pink shade while his ears were bright red.

It took a few minutes for him to reach the underground parking. He entered in his car and drive towards the Japanese restaurant where Drake made reservation for his meeting with Shane.

Shane already left from his house along with his bodyguards to meet Zeus. After a long half an hour drive they reached the address send by Drake. Shane walked in with his bodyguards and went straight to the reception.

"I have a reservation under the name Drake Joseph."

A young lady who is same age of Shanell walked beside him and said politely.

"Please follow me."

They followed the girl and reached the private dining room. The room was really spacious. Shane informed the bodyguards to wait outside and entered in the room with the girl. She handed him the menu after he settled in.

"Please let me know after you decide on the dish."

"I will place the order later. Now I am waiting for someone. So you can leave now." He said and waited for Zeus to arrive.

The waitress smiled at him then went outside the room and waited for the other person to arrive.

A few minutes passed and Zeus also reached the restaurant. He also asked for the reservation and the same waitress is called again to accompany him to the room where Shane is at. She was glancing at Zeus occasionally but he didn't care. His cold aura was replaced by a warm one when Shanell kissed him. He was immersed in those moments and never minded anything around him.

They reached the room and both of them greeted eachother more like brothers. She gave a menu card to Zeus and waited for them to decide on what they want to have. But her eyes were still roaming all over Zeus And Shane saw it. Since he is a child eventhough he is considered as an adult in various ways, he decided to become a naughty brother and try to tease Zeus.

"Sister, do you think my big brother is more handsome than me?" He asked her and pouted cutely.

The waitress was shocked when she heard him and it showed on her face. She become anxious when she saw Zeus looking at both of them. Her cheeks burned because of the embarrassment.

"Ugh... No... I was... It's not like that. You are more handsome and more cute." She said stuttering.

Zeus understood what is Shane up to so he smiled at his behaviour.
