(Jane's PoV)

"Sixth Master, I believe you had finished your homework of learning the history of your previous Masters splendidly, but did you know why the demons had not attacked us for decades even when the borderlines weakened to such state?" Third Master eyed the man with solemn expression but a look of disdain was clear in his eyes.

The Sixth Master twitched his eyes in annoyance. Seeing his action to keep mum with gritted teeth, I knew that he must have known the reason why.

"Seeing your response, you must have known the answer. Then, don't speculate things again. We can't sacrifice people's life just because of one tiny ignorant thought. We are the Masters of Mystical Armies. Even if in other times we will have a competition between us, but in time like this, we need to unify our forces." The old man spoke slowly but the reprimanded tone in his voice was so clear that I thought I heard a slap being delivered towards the Sixth Master's face.
