93 I Don't Dare, Milady

I looked at Tom who was also looking at me. My heart felt heavy when I thought he would leave me. But, it hurt even more when I thought he would die for real.

If I were to think rationally, I would have let him go back to his body. I didn't mind being separated from him for a bit, as long as I knew that he would eventually return to my side.

But, this time it was different.

I didn't know if he would come back or not. I didn't even know if he would still remember me or not.

There were too many possibilities that made me scared to let him go.

But, I reminded myself again that there was a high possibility of Tom being alive; breathing, warm, and... human.

Even though it was hard, I decided to let him go.

"Milady?" Siji was waiting for my decision.

"Send him back." I was surprised to hear my own voice sounded so weak.

"Jane." Tom hugged me tight. "I will stay if that's what you want me to do."
