"Did you come all the way here just to ask me that?" Sky yelled feeling quite unsatisfied but Miles didn't spare him any attention.

"Hey, I'm talking to you," he continued yelling but Miles had already reached the taxi.

That was the answer Miles was looking for. He didn't want to know the details but since Mason didn't meet Sky that night, it only meant he didn't confess and might have overheard something. As the taxi drove away, Miles hoped for one thing. Lose of memory. He knew that was the only way Mason would move on completely from Sky. It felt selfish but being selfish once in a while wasn't bad was it? If it was to protect his best friend, he would gladly be selfish.
