Chapter 4: Castle Trip

An hour before school started Bloom woke up. She sat up in her bed and said "oh God today is the big day! Today I go to the castle with the other students! I can't wait to go! Just thank You God, thank You so much for this!" Bloom stood in the doorway of her room, opened her door, but didn't hear her parents. She said "mom, dad" but there was no answer. She said "I wonder what they're doing. They're always up this early." She walked out of her room, closed her door, and looked on it to see a note taped to the door. She took the note off of her door and read aloud "gone to take care of important business. Sorry we didn't say goodbye. We love you and we miss you. We're so sorry we couldn't stay. We want you to know that we are proud of you. Have fun on your field trip. We hope you can forgive us. Love, mom and dad." Bloom said "God this note. They've never left me anything like this before. I guess mom and dad are really going to change!" She smiled and walked to the bathroom to take a shower. After she was done taking a shower she put on her school uniform, did her hair up into a high ponytail, put on her black flats, and left for school.

After 15 mins of walking she finally got in front of the school. In front of the school were 5 busses lined up waiting to take students to the castle, the Sophomore history classes, 10 faculty members, and Principal Brighting stood outside by the busses waiting to get on. Bloom walked over by the students and was approached by two female class mates. One girl had long red hair and brown eyes. She wore her school uniform with black heels. The other girl had long wavy brown hair and light brown eyes and wore her school uniform with black flats. The red haired girl asked "are you ready to go to the castle Bloom?" Bloom said "ready as I'll ever be Alex. I can't believe I get to go to the castle with you two my best friends." Alex said "me and Cindy hoped you'd come after all we thought your parents wouldn't let you come." Cindy said "yeah because they are so strict they wouldn't even let us come over." Bloom said "yeah well they had a change of heart. Things are going to start changing at our house." Principal Brighting yelled "alright everyone get on the bus you signed up for." The busses opened their doors and the students, faculty, and the principal entered the busses and the busses took off.

On the bus Cindy said "alright what are you going to do your essay on Bloom?" Bloom said "hmm probably the history of the castle. You know how long its been there." Cindy and Alex looked at each other and said "ewe yuck! Boring!" Bloom laughed and said "well Alex what are you doing your essay on?" Alex said "well duh the missing princess." Bloom asked "what missing princess?" Cindy said "you've never heard of the missing princess story? I would think you would've all the studying you do." Alex said "well almost 13 years ago this school had a tradition that all the Sophomore History Classes would visit the castle and do these essays." Cindy said "well one day during this very trip the castle was intruded by thugs." Alex said "well the thugs were a decoy to hide the plan that was really taking place." Bloom said "which was?" Alex and Cindy said "to kidnap the twin princesses Bloom and Blossom." Cindy said "who ever tried to kidnap them only got away with one child Bloom." Alex said "well ever since that day Rose High hasn't been allowed back and the castle has been so heavily guarded that no one outside the castle has seen Princess Blossom in almost 13 years." Cindy said "and no one has been allowed in the castle with out the royal papers." Alex said "the royal family waits until the day Princess Bloom will return but its like she vanished off the face of the earth." Bloom laughed and said "you've got to be kidding me. No way this story is true." Alex said "yeah it totally is true and for some reason we've been invited back today. I honestly wonder why. It's not like Princess Bloom has returned or else the whole kingdom would've known about it." Bloom said "you expect me to believe the princess has a twin that shares the same name as me?" Cindy said "its true Bloom." Bloom laughed and said "sounds like something out of my story book." Alex said "I still don't understand how you don't know about Princess Blossom's twin sister all the research you do. I mean sure they don't really talk about her much anymore but still." Bloom said "it just sounds like a storybook."

While Bloom was on her way to the castle. The servants were cooking food and cleaning the castle and the King and Queen sat in the ballroom. Emily said "I can't believe after all of this time you insist on having a school where we lost one daughter come back here." John said "I Prayed about this Emily I know this is what we needed to do." Emily said "I already lost one daughter John I do not want to loose another." John said "losing Bloom was a horrible thing. I would die before I let the same thing happen to Blossom but I know this is what we needed to do. We'll keep Blossom in her room and have guards around her bedroom door to make sure no one gets in or out but I Prayed about this Emily. This is something that had to be done. I don't know why but I Prayed about it." Emily said "fine but I don't want to do this meet and greet. Let the students go tour with out us. I'm going to the garden." John said "my love I'll come with you." The King and Queen went to the garden.

While the King and Queen were in the garden the busses arrived at the castle. Everyone (expect for the bus drivers) got off of the busses and went inside while the busses took off. Once inside the school was greeted in the entrance of the castle by the head advisor. Everyone stood silently while the head advisor said "the King and Queen wish to be alone. They say that you may tour anywhere in the castle except for the room of the princess and the garden. You may do your essay on what ever you like and you may go where ever you like except for the places I said. If you have any questions the servants will be more then happy to answer them. Please enjoy your stay." The head advisor left and Principal Brighting said "all of you get in small groups of 3 and 4s. Be respectful and if anything is found damage by this school those who were involved will be expelled from the school. Do I make myself clear?" The students replied "yes ma'am" and she said "good now have fun and be in the dinning room for lunch by 12pm and don't forget meet back here by 2pm so we can leave." Alex said to Bloom and Cindy "lets go to the Castle Library I'm sure they'll have some books on the royal twins." Cindy said "yes lets show Bloom." Bloom said "yes take me there." Alex said "now all we have to do is like climb 4 flights of stairs to get there." Bloom laughed and said "great gym and history in one day."

The girls walked to the Castle Library and went inside. The Castle Library had bookshelves that covered all its walls and that touched from down to the floor all the way up to the ceiling. Laid on those bookshelf were ladders to get to the books. The library also had 4 desktop computers and 4 round tables that had cushioned seats around them, and lights that were built into the ceiling. Alex said "good no one is here so we can make as much noise as we want." Cindy said "yes lets get ourselves expelled from the school for making a ruckus." Alex laughed and said "we'll only get expelled if we break anything not if we make noise in a library." Bloom laughed and said "will you two stop fighting and show me a book on this supposed twin the princess has." Alex said "my pleasure. Lets go on the computer and look up history books." Alex, Cindy, and Bloom walked over to a computer and Alex sat at the computer while Cindy and Bloom looked at her computer screen. Alex said "I'm going to rub this in your face Bloom." Bloom said "yeah sure." The door to the library opened and a woman wearing a dark blue ballroom gown entered. The woman wore a silver crown and had her long black hair up into a princess bun. The woman walked further into the library and said "good morning girls. I see your doing your research." The girls looked over at the woman, Alex stood up, and they all curtisied. Alex said "oh yes we are Lady May." Lady May looked at Bloom's face and gasped. Cindy asked "is something wrong Lady May?" Lady May grabbed Bloom's hands and said "what are you doing out of your room and not in your dress?" Bloom asked "what are you talking about?" Lady May answered "you know what I'm talking about. How on earth did you even get out of you room with all those guards? I will see to it that they are fired at once." Bloom said "Lady May are you alright?" Lady May said "your papa is going to throw a fit if he finds out that you've been outside your room when Rose High is here but I will say child you are a clever child thinking that because they hadn't seen you, you'd blend right in. Well it was a nice try but you must go back into your room." Bloom pulled away from Lady May and Bloom said "what are you talking about? I came here on the bus!" Lady May said "now I won't listen to such nonsense stories! Back to the room you go." Lady May grabbed Bloom's hand and Bloom said "I'm so confused. What are you talking about?" Lady May said "honestly Blossom I don't know why you keep with the act. I promise if you go back to your room now I won't tell your papa." Alex and Cindy gasped and Bloom said "Princess Blossom I'm not Princess Blossom! What are you talking about?" Lady May said "I won't listen to such nonsense! Lets go Blossom." Bloom said "can someone please tell her that I'm not Princess Blossom." Cindy said "honestly Lady May she isn't Princess Blossom her name is Bloom." Lady May shouted "now hush that nonsense girls I won't hear it. I know you want to have fun with Blossom but I won't listen to such lies. Lets go." Lady May escorted Bloom out of the library while Alex and Cindy followed. Alex said "Lady May she's not Princess Blossom." Cindy said "really Lady May she isn't Princess Blossom she came on the bus with us and has been attending Rose High just ask Principal Brighting." Lady May said "honestly girls stop. I have no times for games and lies! Blossom needs to go back to her room and start on her studies with me anyways." Lady May started to walk Bloom to Blossom's room and Bloom said "I'm not Princess Blossom! My name is Bloom!" Alex and Cindy said "really she's Bloom, she's Bloom!" Cindy said "Bloom you must be..." Lady May shouted "stop all these senseless games! This is Blossom and I won't continue with these lies. If this continues I will have you two expelled from school! Now quit with these games and Blossom stop the act." Lady May continued to escort Bloom to Blossom's room while Alex and Cindy followed. Bloom said "Alex get Principal Brighting so Lady May will see the truth." Alex said "okay," and ran to get Principal Brighting. Lady May said "honestly when will you give up the act?" Bloom said "its not an act I'm not Princess Blossom my name is Bloom!" Cindy said "Lady May she's telling the truth!" Lady May said "I know you want to hang with Blossom but she can't be out here child. Please do not make up such nonsense just to hang with her." Bloom said "she isn't lying my name is Bloom!" Lady May said "I don't know where you've gotten this outfit but Blossom, you sure are a smart one but now its time to go to your room and start studies." Bloom said "I'm not Princess Blossom Lady May I'm not Princess Blossom my name is Bloom. I don't even know who Princess Blossom is!" Cindy said "she's not Princess Blossom, Lady May her name is Bloom!" Lady May said "stop this nonsense you two!" Lady May, Bloom, and Cindy stood in front of a door that was guarded by 5 guards. The guards wore dark brown pants, white button up shirts, black shoes, and around their waists was a belt of swords. The guards gasped and bowed. Lady May said "who allowed Blossom to get out of her room?" One of the guards said "I don't know how she got out we've been here guarding this door all day." Lady May said "obviously you haven't because she is running around the castle calling herself Bloom. Now you guys put Blossom in her room and I will be right back. I've got to go and report this child to her principal." Bloom said "I'm not going in that room! I'm not Princess Blossom! My name is Bloom!" Lady May said "I've had enough of your lies! Guards put her in her room while I handle her little friend." Lady May grabbed Cindy's arm and walked away while the same guard (who was talking to Lady May) said "alright Princess Blossom in you go." Bloom said "you have to understand this is a big misunderstanding I'm not Princess Blossom my name is Bloom!" The same guard said "inside the room you go Princess Blossom." One guard opened the door and another guard gently forced her into her room, and shut the door. Bloom faced the door, hit it, and said "hey!" She stood there and heard the voice of a teen girl say "hello, who are you?" Bloom turned around to see a teen who looked exactly like her only the teen had her hair down and wore a poofy pale yellow ballroom gown that has short sleeves and a silver tiara with diamond through out it. They both gasped, Blossom ran up to her, hugged her tightly, and said while tears ran down her cheeks "Bloom! Is it you is it really you?!" Bloom said "its really me but how do you know my name and why do you look like me?" Blossom looked at Bloom and said "Bloom its me Blossom don't you remember me?" Bloom said "have we met before?" Blossom said "Bloom its me your twin sister! Its me Bloom! Don't you remember me?!" Bloom said "no I don't." Blossom said "you hit your head pretty hard when we tried to escape from that lady. You must've lost your memory. Bloom your my sister and your a princess. We must tell mama and papa right away that you've returned."
