Day 1- Business Card

I was never one to go out of my way to do anything when it was for myself, I was also one who found difficulty in self-motivation and not procrastinating. Procrastination was especially terrible in my case, as I would not do it until it was due that day. To which ended up with me losing my job and using up the rest of my life's savings, which wasn't much in the first place. I lived much like others for the rest of my life, playing pointless mobile games, indulging in fatty foods, watching baking shows and anime, reading comics, novels, and that was pretty much my life. I once had dreams for my career, but I realized after thinking about what made me decide on that job...And remembered I never decided that on my own and it was actually what my mom had suggested. So I quit. It wasn't enjoyable anyway. And this was how I, 24 year old Jay Oaks, lived the rest of my life peacefully... Until I died falling down 6 flights of apartment stairs.

"Get outta the way kid!"

"Ugh...My head...Hurts..."

I woke up in a bustling city to the sound of a grumbling middle-aged man, who looked pretty handsome. The city looked the same as the one I lived in but something was odd about it...

"WAIT! How is that man lifting that metal construction beam!? An- and how is that woman cooking those kebabs without a stove! How is she holding fire with her bare hands!?!? How am I still alive!?"

"Sigh...Kids these days acting like the other talented don't exist. tsk..."

The man said while grumbling to himself, ignoring my previous questions.

"Wait, what do you mean by 'talented'?"

"Don't waste my time asking questions everyone knows the answer to, kid."

I was confused as to what he meant, but before I could ask again he started walking away with a displeased expression as if he had just been asked to work overtime after he had just got home.

"Wait!"

I started running to catch up to him, as he was the only one I kind of knew. When I finally caught up to him I was panting pretty bad as I hadn't worked out for a while...

"Hah...hah...Sir, please wait... For a second...hah..."

The blonde haired man paused hearing my desperate tone.

"Sigh...Here, I'm busy right now so contact me through there if you need anything."

He handed me his business card and took off down the sidewalk towards the crossing block.
