Miyamoto Rei's expectations for Igou Hisashi is overwhelming. But as time went on, she saw something strange with him.

"Takashi…," She called out his name, hoping he would say that everything is a lie.

"But…" Takashi said as he slowly walked towards the zombified Hisashi.

"Stop," she pleads.

"...it really is happening!" He completed his sentence and rushed towards zombified Hisashi with a shout, "*haaaa*"

Takashi struck the zombified Hisashi head. The head blew up like a broken balloon. Blood, bone fragments, brain liquid, and brain tissue flew all over the place.

That's a lie of course.

There was only some blood splatting on the floor.

Ye Sato rolled his eyes and said, "Your answer is not very convincing. It's like a drunk person saying they are not drunk."

"..." She was left speechless.

Noticing that she didn't refute, Takashi felt the anger inside him burn harder.

If it's someone who should be holding her, then it should be him, Komuro Takashi!

"Release her! I will hold her!" Takashi commanded.

"Maybe she doesn't want you to hold her. Like how she doesn't want you to save her," he responded.

"What Ye-san said is true! I didn't want you to save me," said Rei, then continued in a crying voice, "I didn't want to see him like this! I would've rather gotten bitten by Hisashi and become one of them than live like this!"

"You hear that? She doesn't want you!" Sato added, not afraid the situation isn't tense enough.

"What…" Komuro Takashi was dumbfounded.

How could she jump into another man's embrace, right after her boyfriend died?

Shouldn't she feel sad and heartbroken?

And if she's going to jump, then shouldn't she jump into her ex-crush's arms!?

Why did she choose a guy she knew for less than a day?

Komuro Takashi was completely dazed.

Because Ye Sato shifted their subject unnoticed, Takashi lost focus on what their talk was about.

Rei never said anything about allowing Sato to embrace her, but she did agree to one of his statements.

And her one agreement gave Takashi the picture of Rei allowing Sato to embrace her.

"I don't think Hisashi wanted that!" He said furiously, at the same time feeling that she had betrayed him.

The same sentence as in anime, but a different meaning.

What Takashi meant was that Hisashi doesn't want Rei to throw herself into another man's embrace.

But what Rei understood was Takashi inferring Hisashi doesn't want her to turn into a zombie.

If not because of Ye Sato messing with Komuro Takashi, then his intention would have been that Hisashi doesn't want Rei to turn into a zombie.

Her words didn't make the misunderstanding better, but worse. But that's exactly what Ye Sato wanted.

Komuro Takashi felt that if this situation continued, then he would definitely lose her, so he decided to make a desperate choice. He turned around and walked towards the barricade.

Feeling something was wrong, she couldn't help asking, "Wait, where are you going?"

Ye Sato will of course not let his plan go smoothly.

Without giving Takashi a chance to answer, he replied, "He is probably feeling guilty because you pointed out his thoughts, so he is now trying to take extreme measures."
