School days.

School days are meant to be happy days ; making new friends, adapting to a new environment, exploring potentials, learning new things about self,life and the society at large.

Star was admitted into the primary school at the age of Six after the usual sub-standard method of measurement of crossing the right arm across the head to touch the left ear. And this happened to be the third time her mother Jane took her for admission.It was on a Friday so was asked to start school by the following Monday.

The first hours of Monday was the happiest hours because of the joy and the anxiety felt by Star . But unfortunately, the rest of the day turned out to be the worst day of her school days. Her mother Jane could not drop her off to school , rather she handed her over to some neighborhood kids who are already in senior classes .They arrived school late and were punished by flogging. 😥😥 Jane felt the pain most because it was her first time of receiving a punishment of six strokes if
