Daniel releases a sigh at his stats.

"What's on your mind, sweetie?" Mom asks turning her head to look at Daniel who was seated at the back seat of the car. They are currently driving to the club where Daniel would be performing.

"Just thinking of things." Daniel responds to his mother with a smile.

"If you're nervous, just think of everybody naked." Daniel's father's voice rings out from the driver's seat.

"If I do that I'd be nervous and hard." Daniel speaks and both he and his father burst out laughing.

"Language!" Mom scolds Daniel, causing the laughter to grow louder.

Finally they arrived. The drive having relieved off his nerves a bit, Daniel walks with his father toward the backstage while his mother went to find a place for her and Dad to sit.

"Don't make a fool of yourself." Dad's gruff voice enters Daniel's ears.

"I won't." Daniel gives a resolute nod and they both enter the office of the host.

---

"This place is stacked, chat!" a Man says while talking to his phone that's held out in front of his face.

His name is Jack Moore or more commonly known as 'Raver', a well known streamer who interacts with his chat while partying.

"I guess people came here after hearing that Bella would be performing tonight. I know I did." He speaks before facing the phone camera towards the stage as the host walks out and the rave music that was playing in the background softens.

"Welcome!" The host talks into the mic. "I know you're all excited to see Bella perform..." a burst of cheers sound out from the people. "But we have to save the best for last. In the meantime! Please welcome! Daniel Stephen!" The host announces and walks off among the cheers of the crowd.

Although nobody knew who Daniel was, they were just swept in the moment. Everybody came here to have a good time.

"Haha! Chat, let's go closer to the stage." Jack says, walking to the stage. "Can't miss Bella's singing by being at the back there." He chuckles.

-~♫♪♪~-

Music starts playing and Jack turns his camera to the stage once more, granting the viewers sight of a fairly handsome man in a black dress pants and a black buttoned up shirt. His long black hair in a low ponytail.

"If music was only about looks, this guy would succeed. Hahaha!" Jack laughs, joined by the chat typing various emojis.

~♫♪♪~

Ayy, ayy, ayy, ayy

Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh

Ayy, ayy

Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh

Needless to say, I keep her in check

-~♫♪♪~-

"Who is this guy, chat?!"

---

"... Please welcome! Daniel Stephen!" The hosts voice reaches Daniel's ears. His heart beat quickens. Walking up the stage, Daniel stands in front of the mic and closes his eyes as his song starts playing through the speakers.

"Haaaah"

(Sunflower - Post Malone, Swae Lee)

~♫♪♪~

Ayy, ayy, ayy, ayy

Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh

Ayy, ayy

Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh

-~♫♪♪~-

Opening his eyes, Daniel's sight gets greeted by the various faces of the crowd, most of the chatter having stopped after he started singing.

-~♫♪♪~-

Needless to say, I keep her in check

She was a bad-bad, nevertheless

Callin' it quits now, baby, I'm a wreck

Crash at my place, baby, you're a wreck

Needless to say, I'm keeping her in check

She was all bad-bad, nevertheless

Callin' it quits now, baby, I'm a wreck

Crash at my place, baby, you're a wreck

Thinkin' in a bad way, losin' your grip

Screamin' at my face, baby, don't trip

Someone took a big L, don't know how that felt

Lookin' at you sideways, party on tilt

-~♫♪♪~-

"Ooh-ooh-ooh~~" Daniel hits the high note with a wide smile as the crowd starts moving with the beat of the song.

-~♫♪♪~-

Some things you just can't refuse

She wanna ride me like a cruise

And I'm not tryna lose

Then you're left in the dust

Unless I stuck by ya

You're the sunflower

I think your love would be too much

Or you'll be left in the dust

Unless I stuck by ya

You're the sunflower

You're the sunflower

-~♫♪♪~-

Taking the mic in his hands, Daniel removes it from the stand and walks closer to the edge of the stage.

-~♫♪♪~-

Every time I'm leavin' on you

You don't make it easy, no

Wish I could be there for you

Give me a reason to, oh

Every time I'm walkin' out

I can hear you tellin' me to turn around

Fightin' for my trust and you won't back down

Even if we gotta risk it all right now, oh

I know you're scared of the unknown

You don't wanna be alone

I know I always come and go

But it's out of my control

And you'll be left in the dust

Unless I stuck by ya

You're the sunflower

I think your love would be too much

Or you'll be left in the dust

Unless I stuck by ya

You're the sunflower

You're the sunflower

~♫♪♪~

The song comes to an end, ushering more cheers from the crowd.

"Thank you guys." Daniel speaks into the mic. "It was quite the experience for me, coming on to stage and singing for the first time, so thank you, truly." He says and bows before putting the mic back on the stand and started to walk off stage.

"The release!" a Loud whisper comes from off the stage. Looking over, Daniel finds his father pointing towards the mic. Eyes widening in surprise, Daniel shuffles back to the mic. "Oh yeah, the song will be released in a month on the 26th of August, together with a couple of other songs on my first album!" He announced, surprising not only the crowd, but his parents as well.

The crowd was surprised as that was apparently Daniel's first song ever. His parents however was surprised at the album announcement. They only had two songs so far, so that means he already has more songs in his head to create an album.

"What a fucking song!" Jack shouts at his phone. "I wanna hear more of this guy!" He says, getting a collective 'me too' from the viewers.

---

Daniel walks to his parents with a wide smile.

"Did you enjoy it, sweetie?" Mom asks, her own face adopting a smile. What makes her son happy, makes her happy.

"Hm." Daniel hums and nods.

"Sorry guys!" The host speaks into the mic, drawing everybody's attention. "There's been a change in plans-" Not even finishing his sentence, the crowd breaks into 'ah's and 'boo's. "Let me finish. Bella wanted to hear more of Daniel's songs, so she pushed back her performance."

Instantly, the crowd's mood changes.

"So I was going to ask if Daniel..." The host turns his head in the direction of the Stephen family's table. "Would be willing to sing some more."

'Yeahhhh!' The crowd yells. Basically giving Daniel no room for rejection.

"Alright." Daniel raises his hands in a placating manner. "Only one more." He says and walks up the stage once more. "The next song I'll be doing isn't exactly in line with the mood of a club." He chuckles. "Is that alright?" His question gets positive cheers from the crowd, so waiting no longer, he nods at his father, who went backstage to play the song. "Don't complain if you guys lose the mood to still party after this one."

Daniel closes his eyes and waits for the song to start playing.

"Focus..." He mutters to himself, keeping his eyes closed.

I was listenin' to the ocean

I saw a face in the sand

But when I picked it up

Then it vanished away from my hands, dah

I had a dream, I was seven

Climbin' my way in a tree

I saw a piece of Heaven

Waitin' in patience for me, dah

And I was runnin' far away

Would I run off the world someday?

Nobody knows, nobody knows

And I was dancing in the rain

I felt alive and I can't complain

But no, take me home

Take me home where I belong

I can't take it anymore

I was painting a picture

The picture was a painting of you

And for a moment I thought you were here

But then again, it wasn't true, dah

And all this time I have been lyin'

Oh, lyin' in secret to myself

I've been putting sorrow on the farthest place on my shelf

La-di-da

And I was runnin' far away

Would I run off the world someday?

Nobody knows, nobody knows

And I was dancing in the rain

I felt alive and I can't complain

But no, take me home

Take me home where I belong

I got no other place to go

No, take me home

Take me home where I belong

I got no other place to go

No, take me home

Take me home where I belong

I can't take it anymore

But I kept runnin' for a soft place to fall

And I kept runnin' for a soft place to fall

And I kept runnin' for a soft place to fall

And I kept runnin' for a soft place to fall

And I was runnin' far away

Would I run off the world someday?

But no, take me home

Take me home where I belong

I got no other place to go

No, take me home

Take me home where I belong

I got no other place to go

No, take me home, home where I belong, no, no

No, take me home, home where I belong, oh, oh, oh

No, take me home, home where I belong, no, no No, take me home, home where I belong

I can't take it anymore

~♪♬~

Not a single peep was heard after or during the entire song. Everyone was either focused in their own memories, or focused on Daniel's voice.

*Clap Clap Clap*

a Person started clapping, causing everyone to start clapping.

Opening his eyes at the applause, Daniel's teary eyes meet the eyes of plenty the same. "Ugh. Immersing myself is such a pain, man." He mutters and bows before walking off the stage and going out of the club with his parents.

*ClapClapClap*

The applause still going on inside.

"You did wonderful, son." Mom says and hugs her son from the side with one arm as they walked to the car.
