Hospitality Amidst The Unknown
The smell of fresh embers washed by as the giant spider was intercepted by the Crimson Swordsman, who held a fiery smile while holding back the sharp legs of the monstrous arachnid.
"Now's your chance, spellblade!" Jiao called out.
Coming in from behind the arachnid, the silver-haired woman ran her pale fingers across the surface of her blade, enchanting it with an aspect of fire, "My name is Edith!"
Though just as she went for a thrust of her flaming sword against its back, the arachnid's appendix flexed before it shot out a large net of web that intercepted the woman.
"Ngh!" Edith let out, getting caught in the sticky webbing.
Jett charged in, summoning the [Ethereal Spear] before throwing it towards the yellow-skinned spider, "—Hyah!"
Though his aim was on-point, the giant arachnid displayed agility no different than an insect one-thousandth of its own size, jumping up and spinning around, leaving Edith caught in its net.
