20 Minotaur

Midol floated through the classroom upside down, his white cover wasn't affected by gravity. Oslo had detached his hand, it was crawling through the floor towards Arne. From nowhere, a two-legged buffalo stepped on the hand, crushing it.

"Humans are… unique." Midol thought out loud, "They are incredibly complicated and incredibly different. You'll never find two humans the same."

The two-legged buffalo gave a mean frown towards Oslo. Oslo gave him the middle finger. The two-legged buffalo's eyes turned deadly. Oslo shot a wind arrow towards his leg. The two-legged buffalo wasn't affected.

"You can squish, freeze, drown, burn, slash, poison, trick, convince, infect, break them to death. There might not be a way you can't kill them. They are very fickle creatures… naturally. "

The buffalo grabbed the corner of his table and crumbled it into a ball like a paper. He threw it towards Oslo. Oslo ducked and made a large bang into the wall. The entire class turned for a second but quickly returned their attention to Midol.

"What makes humans so incredibly annoying, is their unnatural ability to adapt and change themselves. To put this into perspective. A creature can evolve and grow new ligaments, and still change less than a human can naturally."

Oslo felt infuriated. He swung his arm diagonally, using the air to cut off one of the two-legged buffalo's chair legs. He fell backwards, his head crashing through the table behind him, crushing it.

He stood up, his breathing was loud enough for Arne to hear. He opened his mouth, and tried to roar, but nothing came out. Suddenly, Midol appeared in front of him. His eyes looked deadlier than ever.

"That'll conclude our lesson on the first monster, humans. Go to the top floor, your combat teacher is waiting for you there." Midol commanded.

The second Oslo stepped out of the classroom, the two-legged buffalo pushed him against the wall. He was pushing hard enough for cracks to appear on Oslo's bones. Oslo stared right at him.

"You little fucking skeleton. Do you not know your place? I am Kloso from the ro…"

Oslo interrupted him, "I spit on you!" Oslo made a spit noise.

Kloso's arm pushed hard enough to shatter through Oslo's ribcage. Kloso's murderous eyes stared at Oslo. Oslo began shaking, if he could piss he'd have pissed himself.

Suddenly, Arne said. "That's enough. Get your hands off him." He had his bow pointed towards Kloso's head. Kloso began chuckling.

"What do you think that puny thing will do." He roared. "HUH?" He threw Oslo away and marched towards Arne. Loko stood behind Arne, Kloso was twice the size of them. He stood before them, towering over them.

A long and slender hand reached over Kloso's shoulders. The fingers were longer than the palm, they were light blue. A face appeared behind Kloso. Green eyes, black hair, hollow face. As he spoke a long and sharp tongue showed. He was taller than Kloso; but his back was bent over so that they were of equal size.

"Don't waste energy on these lower beings." He said.

"You're right Noko."

They walked away. Loko and Arne quickly arrived in front of Oslo. Arne's hand was out, and Oslo grabbed it. he had already regenerated the damage done.

"Are you okay?" Arne asked.

"I'm fine. Fuck that piece of shit minotaur. I'll show him."

Midol's face poked through the wall. "What are you still doing here? Get up there, you're lesson is about to begin."

"Right, sorry sir."

They quickly rushed towards the top. The lesson had already begun when they got to the top. The teacher was holding a speech, they quickly got into the group of students and listened.

Arne found the teacher the girl of his dreams, he almost began to drool. She was a succubus and held onto a whip. She walked back and forward, and instructed the class about the lesson.

"... The crystal at the top of this area makes it impossible to die here. That means you can fight each other to the death. And that is what we will be doing today, and everday."

"We had three students who were so rudely late. Come up here, now."

Arne, Loko and Oslo shuffled up to the front. They felt the stares from everyone. Loko had a tough time standing still.

"Who wants to be the first to fight."

Kloso's hand shot up into the air. His eyes stared at Oslo.

"You seem interested." She pointed at Kloso and made him walk up.

"Pick who you want." She said.

"Can I choose all three of them?" Kloso said.

"Of course! Ambitious I see." She said. "It is sad that you don't have your weapon yet. Weapons make it all so much more intriguing. Make sure to bring them to the next lesson. Anyhow. Skeletons, take 100 steps away then we can start."

They walked away, and when they had taken roughly 100 steps they heard the crack of the whip. Kloso charged at them. They were frozen for a quick second.

Arne took out his bow, charged up a shot. Oslo got into a fighting stance. Loko felt dumbfounded. Arne shot an arrow, it barely made it a centimeter into Kloso's skin. Kloso continued charging. The ground shook.

Loko stood still. He didn't know what to do. He was a skeleton, how was he supposed to stop that charging bull. His mind ran through different ways he could approach it but nothing worked. He felt useless.

Oslo shot a few wind arrows towards him, they barely tickled Kloso. Kloso suddenly leaped and smashed into the ground. He had completely smothered Oslo. Killing him on the spot. He grabbed both Arne and Loko and crushed them to death.

Arne saw the field. He was stuck in the crystal floating in the air. He was slowly dragged back to the field, his body materialized again and he could move again. The teacher signalled for them to come over, and they did.
