12 Chapter 11 - First "Fight"

Hayate Gekko looked at his three new genins while thinking 'The twins are already a balanced team with close and long-range combat and then there is Haruno Ren that as Hokage-sama told me for some reason can't use ninjutsu but his kenjutsu is good enough to beat a chunin let's see how they behave on the test, the twins should more or less be ready even if they were failed by Kakashi-san last year but he failed everyone else too... he is way too strict'

"*cought*cought Well for today this is all let's meet tomorrow at 07:00 at the training ground #71,you are dismissed" and saying that he left with a puff of smoke 'So he was a kagebushin all along it seem that the spiritual sense is not omnipotent or i am yet not good enough to sense the difference between original and copies' thought Ren who's then said to his new teammates

"Taro and Jiro right?,Can I call you that? well as I said before i'm Haruno Ren nice to meet you, and you can call me simply Ren" and the twins replied at the same time "For us is ok, nice to meet you too Ren" and then Taro asked "So are you like Rock Lee?, useless in everything but one thing" and while Jiro hitting hi brother elbow "Do not mind my rude brother it's his own way of talking he isn't insulting you"

"Do not worry that does not even count as an insult to me, and to answerer your question I do not know who Rock Lee is but I only can't do ninjutsu for the rest I can do a little of everything from scouting, trapping, tracking ect." answer Ren and then they started chatting about what they are good at, what jutsu they know, how well they can do it and so on, all to know each other better.

Ren soon noted that while Taro was impulsive, Jiro was more calm but both were good people and then he learned that Kakashi failed them because they followed his order 'Classic Kakashi with is father trauma' after chatting for a while Ren said "Well it is time to go home, see you tomorrow" and in response the twins "See you tomorrow, Ren"

After the meeting Ren went home,cooked dinner for himself and his sister and then started training in his inner world.

When Sakura came back they had dinner and chatted about their team and jonin-sensei and after some time went to bed.The next morning Ren woke up earlier than usual made breakfast and after he left a note for his sister, he went out running in the direction of the training ground #71.

Reaching his destination Ren sit in the shade of a big tree near the clearing and waited for the rest of the team not long after he felt his jonin-sensei coming and hiding in the opposite direction and the last to come after another 10 minutes were the twins.

As soon as he saw them Ren called "Hey guys ,over here" as they came he said "Good morning, are you ready for today" while using hand sign to warm them that Hayate-sensei was near while with his eyes he gave them his general position.

Taro and Jiro saw the warning of Ren and remembering last year trial with Kakashi immediately put up their guard while Jiro said "Good morning too Ren, yes we are ready this year we won't fail"while Taro "Damn right!".

While they were chatting a dozen of shuriken flew in their direction and before Taro or Jiro could do something Ren unsheathed Senbonzakura and with a fast motion hit all the shurikens away while saying "he is now at 6 o'clock ".

Hearing Ren instructions Jiro took ten shuriken and trew them in that direction while yelling "Now Taro!",Taro meanwhile just finished doing his hand sign put his hand near the mouth and aim at the shuriken "Katon: Ryūka no Jutsu(Fire Release: Dragon Fire Technique)".

The shuriken hit by Taro jutsu become enveloped in flames and force Hayate Gekko to come out from his Tōton Jutsu(Transparent Escape Technique) and evade the shuriken.

Then Hayate start running in their direction with his sword draw and use "Hiken: Tsukikage(Secret Sword:Moonlight)" where he suddenly dashes at great speed in Jiro direction and was about to hit him with a lateral strike,but it was blocked by Ren who said "I'll keep him busy, use the big one".

And so while Jiro and Taro retreated Ren started to increase pressure on Hayate who found more and more difficult to defend against Ren strike that come from all the tricky angles 'Is he really a fresh genin? where the hell he learned the way of the sword? if it wasn't for the fact that he is so inexperienced and that he is aiming at only non lethal spots I would have already lost'

Hayate was so focused on defending from Ren that he almost forgot about the fact that he wasn't alone as Taro and Jiro just finished preparing for their jutsu and said "Now!",hearing the signal Ren for the first time used a shunpo.

As Hayate was still focusing on Ren he hear the twins shout and like a magic trick Ren ,that was in front of him, disappeared and appeared behind the twins in an instant,

Hayate had not even the time to say "What..." that he heard the twins say

"Katon/Futon Renkeijutsu: Dai Ryūka no Jutsu(Fire/Wind Release: Great Dragon Fire Technique)" and a big stream of flame engulfed his body.Seeing this Jiro turn to Ren and his brother and ask worried"Did we do too much and killed him?" but Ren soon calm him "Do not worry, what we hit is a piece of wood he used a Kawarimi no Jutsu at the last-minute a jonin is not so easy to kill isn't it sensei" looking just behind Taro who looked behind kunai in hand ready to defend but found nothing.

Hayate then with a cough turn off his Tōton Jutsu and appear in front of Taro and says "It's true Ren,*cought*cought and you Jiro and Taro never lower your guard until you are sure of the enemy defeat, if this was a real situation you two will be dead" hearing this Jiro lowered his head, while Taro still looking at Hayate saids"Yes, sensei"

Then he continued "But over all you guys did a good job your teamwork ,has a lot to work on, but was good while Ren did most of the job of individuation the threat and keeping at bay so you could regroup, but in the end if your enemy was a chunin you could have killed him, so you all pass you are officially genins of Konoha so go rest now as tomorrow we will star doing missions"

After Taro and Jiro celebrated the twins plus Ren said "Yes, Hayate-sensei see you tomorrow" and went home, then in the afternoon Sakura came back home and after a while Kizashi and Mebuki came back from the mission too and at dinner they started telling the story of their test and then they all gone to bed.
