30 I Didn't Break My Promise!

Ellen and Song Xia were seated in front of each other, no one spoke for a long time.

It was so quiet that the waiters standing there felt extremely uncomfortable as they had to be careful not to disturb this couple..

Song Xia replied with a sigh, "I promised her that I won't call the police." Ellen asked her with a smiling, "You broke your promise?"

Song Xia furrowed her brows as she innocently blinked, "I didn't break my promise. It was you who called the police, not me."

Tang Yan's eyes flew wide as he listened to the both of them. "You used my name to beat that Tang father-daughter duo?! I can't believe.."

Song Xia rolled her eyes as she spoke lazily, "It was just for a short while. He seemed to be trying to lower me in front of everyone's eyes, So I had no choice but to say that I'm your sister."

Song Xia paused before continuing with a weird grin, "Moreover, they even believed me with that!"

Tang Yan was not convinced by her, "What am I going to do if Mom and Dad would find out?!"

His mom will surely suspect that his Dad cheated on her and had an illegitimate daughter, if she hears the rumors!

Song Xia scoffed, "I told you that it's just a small incident! They wouldn't know about it!"

Tang Yan warned her, "Look, Xiao Xia, if my parents find out that I have a 'sister' out of nowhere, you will have to bear the consequences!"

He then asked again like a curious kid.

"How did you two even meet by the way?You, weren't you out for a date with your boyfriend?! And you, weren't you going to your office?! You two... Did you two actually start dating behind my back?!"

He looked at both Song Xia and Ellen with suspicious expression. He then crossed his arms as he stroked his chin.

"So, Xiao Xia, the boyfriend you mentioned was Ellen and Ellen, the business partner you mentioned was Xia?! You should've told me right from the beginning! Now because of that, your secret has been revealed so soon! You don't have to thank me for being such a genius.."

Song Xia took out a random pajama and took a shower. She then stormed off towards the living room where those bunch of idiots were.

Tang Yan was munching chips as he watched his favorite drama on the television while laughing.

On the other hand, Ellen was busy talking to his other business partner in Project C, Fang Group's CEO, Fang Zhi.

"CEO Fang, it's okay... We didn't discuss much... Yes... Maybe, he would... Thank you... I understand..."

He was still talking in his phone when he heard Song Xia's hurried footsteps. He frowned as he hung up the phone and scolded her.

"Xiao Xia, Don't run on the stairs like that! You'll fall down and get hurt!"

Song Xia pouted as she slowed down her steps obediently.

Tang Yan said in a shocked tone, "I thought you were her boyfriend... Now I realize that you... you're her father! How can you get her to obediently obey your orders?!"
