19 Flying In The Sky

Even though Zhang Qianmi didn't like the father-daughter duo, for the sake of the Zhang Family's inheritance and shares, she had to act like a sweet and sensible daughter and sister.

When Zhang Hua heard that the Li Family had agreed to the marriage, he was stunned momentarily before his anger disappeared in an instant and he held Zhang Qianmi's hands lovingly.

"Qianqian, I knew you could do this! After all you are my, Zhang Hua's, lovely daughter! I was just angry earlier because you know how much I hate being disturbed! My little princess, tell father if you want anything!"

He said in a gentle tone which was exactly opposite of his tone earlier.

Zhang Qianmi watched his seemingly warm and gentle face and coldly sneered in her heart.

Father? Princess?

Looking at her disgusting two-faced father, Zhang Qianmi couldn't help but feel exasperated at how thick-skinned he was!

Now that the Li Family has agreed to the proposal, he would definitely have to treat me good...

She felt angry and disappointed even if she had clearly known that this will happen.

She smiled sweetly and said, "Daddy, I don't want anything else except..."

Zhang Qianmi paused and hesitated.

Zhang Hua raised his brows and asked, "What do you want? Tell father! Father will make sure to fulfil your wish!"

Zhang Qianmi meaningfully looked at him as she bit her lip and kept quiet.

Zhang Hua softened his tone and asked her patiently, "Qianqian, tell your father if you want anything, your father will fulfill it for you! Just tell me your request."

Zhang Qianmi finally sighed and said in a low voice, "I don't need anything else but I just want to... to go back to meet mother once!"

As soon as her words fell, Zhang Hua's hands tightened on Zhang Qianmi's as his expression turned grave and pensive.

Zhang Qianmi noticed it and knew that her father wouldn't let her meet her mother even if she begged him.

She already expected this reaction from him. 'Seems like I'll have to go along with the flow.'

Zhang Qianmi revealed a bitter smile as she pulled her hands out of his hands and said softly, "It's okay, Daddy. I was just a bit emotional earlier so I requested such a thing... Daddy, I'm going to my room, bye."

Zhang Hua pursed his lips and let her go, as if afraid that he'll agree to her request for the sake of the Li Family.

Zhang Qianmi ran away to her room, leaving Zhang Hua who felt a little guilty. He sighed softly.

But what could he even do, her mother was someone he didn't want her to see...

At a high-class restaurant, Australia

Song Xia frowned as she looked at the small white watch on her wrist, it had already been half an hour and her date still hasn't arrived.

She thought that he must've encountered some important matters or maybe he was stuck in traffic, which must've resulted in his delay.

Her new boyfriend went by the name Fang Long, whom she had dated him online only a few days ago.

She just wanted to try to move on from her first love and that 'bastard' so she decided to date a guy online.

She didn't really care about the guy but just wanted to give it a try. So she randomly picked this guy and chatted with him everyday.

He seemed pretty nice but he might be acting like a nice guy so she didn't get too close to him, just chatting like friends.

Yesterday, he suddenly asked out her on a date, Song Xia couldn't be rude to reject so she agreed to have a date.

But now, this guy hasn't showed up yet, wasting her time. Song Xia fiddled with her phone as she decided to wait for a little longer.

One minute passed by...

Ten minutes...

Fifteen minutes...

He still didn't show up.

Song Xia casually looked around and realized that the manager and the waiters kept glancing at her direction.

She also noticed that the other diners, who were sitting around her table, also subtly looked at her. Their gazes were full of awe, envy and admiration..

Song Xia didn't know what to do as she awkwardly picked up the menu from the table to cover up her now red face and skimmed through it.

The menu had everything she had already tasted before which didn't arise any interest from her. At last, she ordered Chicken Parmigiana and black coffee.

Song Xia forgot about the guy, who didn't show up at the date and started to take pictures and selfies of her meal and herself as she posted them on her Weibo.

Song Xia leisurely sipped her black coffee as she glanced at the door. Still not here yet...

She sighed as her eyes landed on her phone's screen. Her eyes brightened and her spirit as well. Her little fans had already increased to thousand.
