44 Take it

*Knock knock*

Beth turned around on her bed, covering her head with the blanket. The sound was making her annoyed. Who would want to come early in the morning just to disturb her sleep? She thought, covering her ears tightly. Damn bullies. They were at her back from yesterday morning when she had arrived. 

The knock came again, this time sounding more urgent. Beth cursed under her breath, finally opening her eyes. She flipped the blanket to the side and slid off the mattress, her eyes fierce with anger. Covering the distance towards the door within minutes, she hurriedly pulled the door open. 

A strange sound escaped her mouth as she suppressed her cuss words and gulped it back, sending it right back to where it came from. Beth licked her lips nervously, pushing her messy hair behind her ears as she meekly lowered her eyes from the person standing at her door.
