YuTang had not intended to sleep.

The things that happened really felt like a dream come true and hence, he got scared that it was probably a dream and if he slept, he would wake up to the real world, if that was so, he might not sleep in the first place that way, he can continue to stay in this world for longer or so, was his thought.
