19 Challenging Mark

Aroon had to use only one punch and John's body was slammed high in the air. The moment he punched him he felt a little surge of electricity inside his body, making him quite uncomfortable.

<Ding! You got in contact with one ability, the steal ability>

<Ding! You can't learn this ability for now, but it will be stored inside the library you to later>

"What the hell…" Aroon couldn't help but gaze at the shocked face of John. The latter found himself lying all of sudden on the floor.

A thin line of blood came out of the corner of his mouth. It didn't look that bad when others glanced at him. However they didn't know John was deeply hurt at this moment.

He couldn't even stand up or move his body while holding the side of his abdomen with such anger over his face.

"So you aren't what you pretend to be," Aroon sneered before shaking off his head, "you are just a dick, y'know that?"

"Go f*ck yourself!" John cursed with a loud shout but the next moment Aroon flashed and appeared above him.

"Bang!"

His leg simply hit the abdomen of John again, making the latter scream like a girl. John felt every single organ in there being torn apart by this simple hit.

"Oh, you love to trash talk others but in fact… You are trash," Aroon shook his head in disappointment. He didn't plan to use all his power back there.

In fact he only used a small bit of it and was surprised by the result.

"Now it's your turn," Aroon turned his head to Mark who stared fixedly at him like eyeing his deadliest enemy.

The place went silent except for the whining of John. Everyone glanced at Aroon in a new light, wondering if they were seeing things or dreaming.

"What do you mean… Boy?" Mark tried to act high as usual, but Aroon's next move made him jolt up off his seat.

"Clang!"

The sound of the metallic table rang all over the place while Aroon stood there with his leg raised.

Just now Aroon crossed the small distance and kicked the table off without warning.

He glanced at the terrified look on Mark's face for long seconds while the latter kept retreating back.

Strangely at this moment… He enjoyed such a feeling; the feeling of supreme power!

"I said you are next," Aroon simply said, "or do you prefer to lend me your seat without a fight?"

Aroon looked at the ceiling of this grand tent as if he was thinking about that. He shook his head in denial, "Nah, it won't be fun or worth the trouble of waking me up."

"Do you think taking him down was some kind of a feat?" Mark started to gather up his courage, "he can't be compared to me!"

Aroon found something on the nearest table; a small rubber ball. He went to it and his sudden move scared those fallens sitting there, forcing them to stand back in reflex.

"Chill out man," one of them said and Aroon simply ignored his words. He grabbed the rubber ball and started squeezing it slowly and steadily.

He loved that. It had a strange effect to cool off his mind. It was something that helped him to endure all the hard times after his brothers' death.

"I won't know without trying, right?" Aroon stared at Mark who seemed a bit hesitant.

John wasn't weak at all. In fact in this little group of fallens he would come second in line, directly below Mark.

"You'll regret this," and Mark decided to fight.

"That's better," Aroon sneered before the next moment Mark clenched his two fists up and the loose T-shirt he was wearing cracked open.

His bulging muscles kept growing fast. Mark turned in no time into a giant man.

His body was covered in black luster that made his dark skin look scary. His muscles were tense and big like balloons. Even his veins were twisted and thick to be visible to the naked eyes like small snakes under his skin.

He turned into someone no sane fallen would ever dream of facing in such a state.

But Aroon had another opinion about that.

"You'll do perfect as my punching bag," he calmly said while watching Mark getting up to exceed three meters in height.

Mark was the only one here who got a power grade of three, putting him on top of everyone else.

And John was considered grade two, yet Aroon simply took him down with much ease.

"I hope you won't disappoint me," Aroon said while watching Mark getting more enraged by his calm domineer.

"Shut up!" Mark roared with his thick and alien-like sound before a punch moved fast towards Aroon's face.

He could simply avoid it if he wanted, but he didn't. Aroon planned to really use this fight as a test to his powers.

And that test would only be done if the two clashed face to face against each other.

"Boom!"

Aroon punch met Mark's and the scene looked absurd for everyone. The small punch of Aroon managed to meet Mark's giant fist and stop it midair.

And he even did that without stepping one single foot behind.

"Swoosh!"

A shockwave erupted all of sudden from their fists, causing everyone to step back a little.

"Got some strength in you," Mark seemed not to be fazed by this as the next moment he hit another punch towards Aroon. "Let's see how long you can keep up with me."

"Boom!"

And simply like that Aroon stopped it like the first hit.
