17 Chapter 16

Veronica's POV

Jonas takes me to a carnival close to the beach. Thankfully, we don't have to walk on the beach because I can't imagine how I would have to struggle to walk on the sand with my sneakers.

There is a band playing songs some of which were not original songs but they were really good and I soon found myself dancing along.

When they move on to the slow songs Jonas takes my hand and we dance slowly to Edsheeran's Perfect as the sun sets.

I'm not really feeling the song but the funny dance moves Jonas keeps on exhibiting makes me laugh like a donkey on crack. Soon enough we're pulling away from the other people enjoying the song to go sit at a cute Mexican restaurant fashioned with just enough light to brighten it up and make it beautiful without being too fussy.
