Chapter 98: wonderful surprise

Dominic and Kang Lei finally arrive at Dr. Cheng's office after leaving leaving reporters stunned and filled with questions.

"It was Quite a show you put on there Dominic". Dr. Cheng greeted them saying.

"He needs to control his anger" added Kang Lei. Dominic looked at him remorseful "am sorry honey" he responded.

"I know you're sorry and am not angry, but I can defend myself also, I know you want to protect me and BoJing… but can you trust me a little too? And stop acting like am fragile…. Yes am still dealing with what's happened and am not going to pretend it's easy… but am not weak others words will not hurt me… I only care what you and the people I care about think of me. So stop trying to kill everyone", Kang Lei stated, he felt guilty that Dominic was now in danger because of him.

Dominic lifted Kang Lei's chin and looked him in the eyes "there's no reason why you should continue to be strong now that you have me. Your problems and burdens are now mine to carry, so don't ever expect me to stand aside while you deal with things alone. I respect your wishes but I'll do what I have to make others know you're not to be played with. So I'll allow you to be strong but you'll also have to accept my need to always want to protect my family" he said warmly making Kang Lei blush as he nodded his head.

Dr. Cheng looked that the two wondering if he was invisible, "did you two come just here to display your love for each other and to make me feel more lonely than I already am?" Dr. Cheng pretended to be heartbroken. The two lovebirds finally remembered he was in the room, Kang Lei quickly pulled away from Dominic embarrassed while apologising "sorry Dr. Cheng…." He said with his face turning bright red.

Dr. Cheng found Kang Lei's easily embarrassed attitude amusing, ever since meeting him and BoJing he had taken great pleasure in seeing the two blush.

"Pfff…. Anyway what brings you two here, don't tell me you've broke your dear wife already Dominic?" He gave Dominic a knowing looking.

Kang Lei quickly waved his hands to say no, "oh….no Dr. Cheng….it's nothing like that…. It's me I was hoping you would check why pheromones are so strong recently and also I haven't been feeling well" Kang Lei stated quite worried, he wondered if his body was rejecting Dominic's mark, he didn't feel the same as he did when his nodded was rejecting Mengyao Da's mark.

"Hmmmm, how do you mean unwell?" Asked Dr. Cheng concerned.

"Well…. For instance I feel like I want to faint at times and certain foods make me throw up as well" he paused and lowered his head then continued in somewhat of a whisper, "I…..I also get quite anxious when am away from Dominic... it's like before when I needed his pheromones to make me relax…. Do you think it's anything to do with the mark?" He glanced over at Dominic to see his reaction, but he looked just at concerned as Kang Lei, Only Dr. Cheng had a somewhat amused look on his face.

"Well… to be honest I don't thinks it's anything to do with Dominic's marking, and more to do with your husband being unable to keep his hands off of you" Dr. Cheng mocked the two who looked confused.

Dr. Cheng rose from his seat and had Kang Lei lay down as he begun to examine him, but this startled Kang Lei who realised what he was doing.

"Shall we have a look and see what we have in there then" Dr Cheng begun to run a prob over Kang Lei's stomach.

After what seemed liked a lifetime and Dr. Cheng looking intently at his screen that was only visible to him, Dominic asked, "Doctor is everything okay?".

Dr. Cheng finally stopped what he was doing and turned his attention back to the two impatiently worried people before him.

"Well I must say Dominic, when I called you a beast I was only joking but my god you really are a monster"

Fear came over Kang Lei, "what's wrong, is something wrong" he grabbed onto Dominic's hand.

"Well that all depends, on you two"

"What do you mean?" Dominic quickly asked.

"Well thanks to you, your wife now has three babies inside him" Dr. Cheng told them, both Kang Lei and Dominic was shocked.

Dr. Cheng turned his screen to face the two paled face lovers, "here, have a look, baby one, baby two and hiding away his baby three".

Dominic though shocked was overcome with joy at seeing his babies on the screen. "Oh… god honey you're so amazing" he beamed as his eyes fixed to the screen.

A wave to emotions came over Kang Lei, he was happy but worried at the same time , images of BoJings birth and his experience while pregnant came flashing through his mind and tears started flowing his eyes, He couldn't believe was pregnant again.

Dr. Cheng saw Kang Lei's state, a person with Kang lei's past will most definitely need time to digest such a change. He felt it best to give the two a moment alone, "I need to get some information, I'll be right back" Dr Cheng removed the screen so Dominic could realised his wife's condition.

"Honey?… are you okay?" Dominic finally realised and lovingly asked a tearful Kang Lei. A slight nod was given by Kang Lei in response, for a moment he had forgotten that this time he wasn't alone.

"Honey don't you want our babies?" Dominic asked sadly.

"Of course I do, it's just that all the images of BoJing and what I went through came flooding back. I just got scared that's all" he replied.

"Don't worry honey, I'll take care of all six of us"

"I know you will, am sorry I made you feel like that, am very happy and upset you put three at once, you know normal men put one at a time" kang Lei teased.

"Well am not normal, but I am a little disappointed there's only three, maybe next I'll add two more" Dominic affectionately rubbed Kang Lei's stomach.

Kang Lei flicked him on his forehead "if you add two more ill refuse to have sex with you for a year" he said sternly.

"Oh honey I think you misheard me I said I'll minus two….minus two!" He Rephrased quickly.
