Chapter 72: Will you be mine?

While Dominic gave Kang Lei and Dr Cheng some space, he went back to his office to return his mother's hundredth call.

"Mom what happened his dad okay?" He asked worried.

"You little brat, why didn't you tell me you found my daughter-in-law, anyway I don't what to talk to you where's my grandson?" Mrs Lanxian immediately came on the phone and scolded poor Dominic.

All Dominic could do was sigh and allow his mother to shout at him, "mother how did you know I found them?" Dominic was surprised the demon woman had already found out.

"How do you think, Dr. Cheng told me and what did you do to Michael? I swear when I see you am going to send you permanently to live with Buddha"

As his mother continued to tell him of how many way she'll depose of him, BoJing who had missed him the past few days was overjoyed when he saw Dominic walking by.

He had secretly followed Dominic to his office and stood hiding outside his door when he saw him on this phone. Dominic who finally caught site of him gestured for the little man to enter.

As soon as he had opened the door he heard Dominic say "mom, BoBo is here am going to put him on the phone now" Dominic said handing the phone to a shy a BoJing. "Hello Mrs Lanxian" he answered after hearing Dominic say mom. In the next instant BoJing swore he almost became deaf, a screeching scream was heard from Mrs Lanxian "ahhhhhhh! Chao come quick our grandson on the phone" she shouted to her husband, making an already shy BoJing red from embarrassed when he heard her excitedly call him grandson.

"BoBo darling it's grandma, you're grandpa's coming shortly, how are you are you okay, is that son on mine taking care you? if he's not tell grandma and I'll deal with him for you okay sweetie—"

"Honey am here let me talk to him" interrupted an also excited Mr Lanxian, "ahem, hello BoBo" Mr Lanxian took the phone from his wife and pretended to be stern, poor BoJing became scared thinking that Mr Lanxian didn't like him, "ah-yes Mr Lanxian" he struggled to answer.

"Now BoBo as a member of this family you are to address each family member correctly, myself and Mrs Lanxian you will address an grandpa and grandma, tell your father to make sure he catches you up on the Lanxian family tree understood?" Mr Lanxian said with a low voice but to BoJing he sounded cold. It was a trait many took sometime to get use too, but in fact Mr Lanxian was a very kindhearted man and was very much excited to be speaking with his grandson. Mrs Lanxian who could tell the old fool was scaring her precious child grabbed the phone from him to help calm BoJing. "BoBo sweetheart... don't mind your grandpa that's how he is, in fact he's just as excited as I am so don't be scared okay" she said in her sweetest voice, Dominic who could hear the two was shaking his head in disbelief again he wondered if this woman was really his mother.

BoJing and Dominic had spent the next two hours speaking with his parents, even at one point switching to video call just so Mrs Lanxian could have a good look at what she call BoJing her "grand-baby", she refused to cut the call until Dominic promised to bring BoJing to them first thing in the morning, not that BoJing minded this was after all his family and he had no problem accepting them into his heart as much as they did.

Before going back to be with Kang Lei, Dominic had stopped by Michael's room to check on his progress, he knew for a fact that he'll be both killed by his mother and brother on his return home so he had a plan to smooth one but as for that demon mother of his, he figured he might aswell just write up his own death certificate and personally catch an early bus to Buddha's gate.

Micheal was still unconscious mostly due to Dr. Cheng placing him under heavey sedation, as he knew the little weasel would go running to Andrew the moment he had woken up and cause more injury to himself. For the past few days Dominic had been constantly on the phone reassuring his little brother that his love was fine an will be home soon, that and taking another earful of scolding from his brother for letting Michael get hurt and not allowing him to visit, Dominic was sure that by the end of week with so many people scolding him he was going to have to change his name and go into hiding.

By the time Dominic had returned to Kang Lei it was already late in the evening, so he figured the other might already be sleeping or in need of his pheromones. However, when he had entered the room Kang Lei was awake and waiting for him though his face appeared sadden with his head hung low in deep thought. Kang Lei instantly raised his head to acknowledge Dominic but then immediately averted his gaze the second their eyes met, this action alone was enough to deeply hurt Dominic, this isn't how he had imaged things would go between him and person he had given his heart too. But he understood that they were still at the beginning of their relationship and unlike BoJing, Kang Lei was grown adult with a damaged past.

Dominic had wanted to climb into the bed and be with Kang Lei but he decided it was best to sit a little further away and allow Kang Lei to come to him in his own time. "How you feeling, sorry I took so long my parents was giving me an earful, sometimes am sure they adopted me" he said lightly trying to calm the mood, he had succeeded when he saw a light smile appear on the corner of Kang Lei mouth.

"Even if you're adopted they love you regardless" kang Lei commented shyly, playing with his fingers, "pretty sure they love BoBo more than me and my brother right now, oh by the way they asked me if I can bring BoBo to them tomorrow, I was going to have them take him while you recover but seeing that you're awake I wanted to see if you're comfortable with him going to met them. Actually to be honest you'll be saving my life my mother said she'll castrate me if I don't bring her grand-baby to her, I really don't want to—"

"Grand-baby, why would she call him her grand-baby?" Kang Lei interrupted Dominic to ask, he was a little confused but hoped it would be that he was thinking.

Dominic who already viewed Kang Lei has wife and had long ago accepted BoBo has his own spoke without thinking "huh, oh once we're married you're both going to be a Lanxian so everyone's excited to have little BoBo in the family, oh don't worry about my mum she loves you and BoBo more than me, she even told me that if I didn't hurry up and find you both she was going to remove from the family tree" Dominic said comfortably until he realised the colour had drained from Kang Lei's face.

"Honey are you okay, do you need more of my pheromones" he said getting up to touch Kang Lei's forehead.

Kang Lei gently pushed Dominic's hand away and said in an depressed tone "I never agreed to marry you, beside when did you propose and Mr Lanxian aren't you in already in a relationship with Miss MiMi WuXain?" Kang Lei said in a dejected voice.

Dominic scoffed putting his face closer to Kang Lei "is the future Mrs Lanxian jealous?" He said with a cheeky smile

"Am not jealous, isn't that what they said in the news" kang Lei tried to refute with a pout.

"Mrs Lanxian if you keep pouting like that, I'll think your begging me to kiss you seeing that we're so close". He then leaned in to kiss Kang Lei tenderly on the cheeks surprising him.

"besides you can't live without me, you need my pheromones and if I have to use silly tricks like that to make you mine I'll be happy to do so" he whispered into Kang Lei's ear.

Kang Lei looked at Dominic speechless, he thought to himself Dr. Cheng was right he really had no choice, Dominic was clearly adamant to be with him.

Kang Lei took a deep breath and in a cold tone he harshly said, "Mr Lanxian stop this, stop getting my hopes up, do you know what I am? Do you know who I've been with and what I made them do to me? The moment you take me by your side your reputation will be ruined, beside we don't even know each other, we have only meet a few times.. now your calling me your wife, Mr Lanxian this is not some romance novel am not the virgin bride whom the world will love, I will only embarrass you, do get it now Mr Lanxian?" By the time Kang Lei had finished he had tears in eyes his heart ached for hurting Dominic like this.

"Okay" Dominic responded coldly, then suddenly he pulled Kang Lei close to his chest and roughly pulled his gown to his shoulders exposing kang Lei's nape and sunk his canines into Kang Lei's nape ready to Mark him. however, he stopped waiting to see if Kang Lei would resist, but the other instead closed his eyes, bit down erotically on his bottom lip while holding onto Dominic tightly fully allowing him to mark him. Dominic removed his canines and looked kang Lei in the eyes "you say those things yet you were fully prepared to accept my mark, Kang Lei you can't lie to me I can smell your desire for me through your pheromones as you can mine, so as long as that desire remains I'll never let you go". Dominic seductively said then kissing Kang Lei softly on his lips.

"Will you be mine?" He asked as their lips parted but they remained mere centimetres apart. Kang Lei paused for a while before he gently nodded his head removing his gown off his shoulders to allow Dominic to mark him. Dominic slowly moved closely to the top of Kang Lei's neck and gently kissed him all the way down sending a wave of electrifying lust through Kang Lei's body, when he finally reached his nape he again sunk his sharped canines into Kang Lei's skin releasing his Alpha pheromones into Kang Lei marking him as his own. To fully complete the mark the two have to mate, but right now Dominic wanted to mark Kang Lei with his scent he will fully enjoy his beloved body when he was sure the other was ready.
