3 chapter 2 Michael Jones

As Dominic diverted his attention to the documents Daniel had just presented him, a voice soft yet strong called out "brother". A man of a tall stature was leaning against an unnoticed door disguised as a painting in Dominic's office. Dominic without even caring to notice the other said in an unusually softer yet cold tone, "Michael, how long were you planning on hiding in that room?"

The man who was hoping that this time he would finally catch his long-time comrade off guard, after not seeing him for some time. Was again disappointed to know that even after so much time, he still hadn't lost his sense of snuffing people out.

"Ah… I could never catch you, can I, aren't you even going to say hello to your brother?". The man who was standing behind Dominic and had now made his way around to the front of his desk and plopped himself down on the available three seater sofas.

In a cold and undeterred tone, Dominic answered "hello brother" finally raising his head to acknowledge the man.

The man, who is very tall and handsome with beautiful dark skin, was now laying with one leg on the sofa in an obscure position and steering at the view outside. Something the cold and domineering Dominic seem familiar with.

Unfazed but the man before him, Dominic continued, "I heard the mission was a success". Dominic stated. "Therefore, I have been expecting you to arrive in due time, but you seem to have taken longer than I had expected" Dominic said with a hint of resentment whilst putting away the documents he was reading.

Whist still seated in his current position, the man whose name was Michel Jones replied, "brother, did you miss me that much that you kept tabs on my whereabouts?" He arose with a beaming smile that would melt a thousand hearts. Coming face-to-face to Dominic, he gave him a mischievous smile.

"Say brother do you also know what time I go be bed, take a shower, get dressed, and you know my other activities?" Michael asked with a smirk and raising is left eyebrow.

Dominic, who was used to his overactive social behaviour, said without a hint of shame, "yes!".

Michael pretended to be shocked and took a large grasp, having already known how possessive Dominic can be with his loved ones. Wrapping his arms over his bosom as though to protect his innocent, he complained. "Ohhh! My I feel truly violated!". Like the true dramatics that Michael was, he picked up Dominic's office phone and pretended to call for help. "Hello police, I would like to report a crime.... I.... I am being watched by a virgin pervert! Please send help quickly!.....hahaha". He replaced the phone, laughing uncontrolledly.

Dominic, unamused by his antics, simply rolled his eyes and shook his head in disappointment. Though, a small smile was trapped at the corner of his lips.

Unsatisfied, Michael continued, "By the did you happen to catch me with that omega last night?…we sure did go at it all night?, I tried some new positions I read in one of those books. So did you see, did yah!" He asked all giddy, beaming like a Cheshire Cat showing off his amazingly white teeth and grey coloured eyes so unusual for is cultural background.

Michael, who is also a dominant alpha, and of Caribbean descent, had known Dominic since childhood, with both families having been close for many years. In fact, they viewed each other not as childhood friends, but as brothers.

During their childhood, the two were always seen as an odd pair, one was cold and unwelcoming, while the other overly sociable and free spirited. People often wondered how the two found common ground, but unbeknown to them, Michael was just the person to handle the known iceberg of Antarctica, known as Dominic Lanxian.

After an awkward pause, Dominic unconvincingly answered, "no…. I… did… not". He cleared his throat at the end, trying to cover his slight embarrassment at knowing what his fellow best friend had been doing the previous night before coming there that day. Before he could compose himself, Michael laughed out loud, almost collapsing onto the table.

"Hahaha! I knew it! You are a true virgin, pervert. And because I knew my virgin brother would be watching, I, the world's greatest brother, gave another memorable performance. I made sure the show was good, so you could learn…. Therefore, don't be embarrassed… And let it be call a teachable moment". He took a bow, mockingly smiling at Dominic.

Unable to tolerate the idiot before him any longer, Dominic picked up his office and began dialling a number.

Startled Michael feared for what the man was about to do, "Who are you calling?" he asked having a fairly good idea of whom it may be.

A devious smirk rose to Dominic's lips, then he coldly replied, "Who do you think?".

Within seconds, Michael snatched the phone from Dominic's hands, his breathing suddenly becoming haggard and his expression became filled with fear. "I AM SORRY! PUT THE PHONE!". He shouted, slamming the phone back on its receiver.

Amused, Dominic couldn't help but revel in his victory, "Virgin pervert! Michael, don't forget, I hold the key to your weakness". He said though cold eyes.

"Yes! Yes! How foolish of me!" Michael cheekily flashed is white teeth in a grin. Knowing full well that he will end up in the same situation again, as he plans to mock the man again.

Having amused himself enough, Michael domineer changed and stood before Dominic was now a serious-faced man. A complete contrast to the idiotic maniac of five seconds ago. As an Alpha himself, Michael's aura can be all powerful but was still unmatchable to the Dominic's which would send one falling to their knees if ever he became angered.

In a firm and serious tone, Michael began to speak, "Alpha, I have been to headquarters and I have seen the next phase of our operation. The regions around the facility are highly treacherous and intel that states that the prisoners are being experimenting on. We need to act quickly on this one, you need just give your orders, the team is read and on standby". He informed an unfazed Dominic.

Without a response, Dominic handed Michael a key from inside a small case that was casually sitting on his desk. He then stood up and looked directly at Michael in a manner that the average person would have felt intimidated by him. With the key in his hand, Michael got only five words from Dominic: "You know what to do."

Dominic then walked around his desk grabbing his coat, "I have a dinner date, come with me", he ordered to Michael, who was more than happy to tag along, hoping to meet that person.
