107 Chapter 106: Done deal
At midday that day, Dominic and Michaels father arrived at the Presidents office.
As expected the atmosphere was less than welcoming, as they walked through the grand halls with the high stench of hostile pheromones permeating around them, Dominic's mind flashed back to his only ever thought his family, after many persuasion he had finally managed to get Kang Lei to remain with his mother and brother along with over half a dozen armed soldiers.
A smile rose on him face as he remember the pouting red lips of his beloved wife, sulking that he wasn't allowed to tag along at Dominic's side.
"His hormones sure has made him a lot more clingy, If only he could stay pregnant for more than nine months" Dominic thought to himself.
"What you smiling about" Mr Jones asked catching a rare smile from Dominic.
The question pulled a daydreaming Dominic from his thoughts, "Huh… oh nothing uncle" he replied returning to his unusual serious and cold expression.
Mr Jones shook his head, "that omega of yours sure is special, it's nice to see this side of you" he commented warmly, of all the years he's known Dominic, the young man was always too serious and cold. He was happy that someone was finally able to warm his heart and make him smile.
Dominic nodded his head respectfully, "yes uncle he most definitely is special" he agreed proudly.
"Haha why be so respectful, have you already forgotten I almost witnessed you devouring your poor wife" joked Mr jokes.
The embarrassing memory flashed again through Dominic's mind causing his face to go bright red, "uncle please don't ever bring that up again, it was humiliating the first time".
"No can do, I'ave already told Michael and your father, by now your brother and mother would have been informed. For the rest of your lives am sure there's going to be one of us to remind you and once I tell your aunty well what can I say good luck my son" smirked Mr Jones.
Dominic glared at Mr Jones, knowing the amusement the man beside was having at his expense, "uncle you truly are a wicked man, and to think you hold such power in the world" Dominic declared feeling truly sorry for himself.
It didn't take long to reach the presidents office, the two were escorted inside were the President and uniformed army officials sat awaiting their arrival.
"Gentlemen welcome" greeted the president as he rose from his seat, his alpha pheromones strongly emanating around the room, along with the other men present, as true alphas it's natural behaviour each alpha wants to prove they hold dominance and are powerful in their own right.
Be that they intent it or not their pheromones and aura exude hostility, something Dominic and Mr Jones expected.
Not concerned with the men in the room Dominic and Mr Jones did not feel the need to release their pheromones and simply made the men feel they had gain control over them.
"Mr President, good day" greeted Dominic bowing respectfully, his tone as always cold and firm. Even without the use of his pheromones his presence sent chills down the spin of individuals in the room.
A moment of silence entered the room as they waited for Mr Jones to speak, to their dismay he remained silent and unmoved.
"Amen…. Gentlemen please take seat…. Su Meng get them some coffee" exclaimed the President, regaining his composure.
"I must say am a little surprised to see the US Secretary of Defence joining us" stated the Army General cockily.
mr Jones scoffed at the remark "pfff…. If you had done your research properly you would have known it would be a mistake to intentionally attempt to kill my sons"
"Need I remind you Secretary of Defence your sons lied to us and betrayed our country" rebuked the general, discontent with the remark.
"Are you lacking intelligence General? Does your spies declare their a spy? If you lack common sense please refrain from engaging in intelligent conversations.." fired Mr Jones, his words causing great offence to the General who stood up angered.
"Oh dare you foreigner address me so!"
"General! Sit down! let's not start off out meeting in such manner" the President quickly intervened, taking control of the situation.
"Secretary Of Defence, I apologise on his behalf, we alphas have such egos at times, Let's not get carried away with blame.....Now gentlemen am sure your aware why I have asked you here, am hoping we could come to an agreement here today. Seeing that neither of you are lacking in money, maybe there's something else we could offer or something you need….—"
"Mr President I don't think your grasping the gravity of situation, we didn't do this for benefits, we did this for those who are too weak in power to defend themselves against those who misuse their power" Dominic interrupted bluntly not liking what was being said.
"Misuse of power you say Mr Lanxian let's not forget here you have something the belongs to us running through your veins, at this point you have committed treason against our county, we have every right to detain you and your family if we see fit" smirked the President.
"Mr President I don't follow, what is it that you believe I have on my persons that belongs to your country. For months I have been followed and now ambushed in my family home, please may I know what it is you accuse me off and what evidence you have to support these allegations Mr President?" Asked Dominic confidently, causing the room to go silent. It was true they hold nothing on him but speculations.
"Do you dare to play dumb Mr Lanxian, you know exactly of what we speak, not Only that you killed dozen of our troops carrying out an unauthorised mission on our base. Do you think we would allow that to go unpunished? Growled the President his anger fully evident in his voice.
"Now Mr President, Your men took something that belong to me and tried fo prevent me from taking it, what was I left to do but destroy them. Now it seems you have nothing constructive to say today so we'll be leaving, Uncle". Dominic immediately got up with Mr Jones right behind him and head to the door.
Seeing the arrogance towards him enraged the President and others in the room. "Did I say you could leave soldier!" Roared the President releasing his pheromones in an attempt to have Dominic and Mr Jones submit to him. The greatest failure as a alpha leader is to be arrogantly dismissed by his subordinates. He had to show these two why he's the President of this great country.
However, His Feeble actions was of great amusement to Dominic and Mr Jones. Turing back to face the group the two wittingly acted as though they had Succumb to the strong pheromones attack, bowing their heads in submission to their great alpha leader.
"Did you think you could walk out of a room without my permission? I am the Alpha President of this country, I am this countries strongest alpha! How dare you show your intolerance towards me!" Roared the President. his pheromones was indeed overwhelming that even Dominic and Mr Jones felt a slight tingle. Not wanting to crush the Presidents pride the two continued to hold their positions, as the other alphas in the room also began to attack them with their pheromones.
A gleeful smile rose to their lips as they see Dominic and the Secretary of Defence, quiver at their feet.
Moments later the army General walking self rigorously towards Dominic, seized the moment to at taking a cheap shoot and punched Dominic in his stomach.
"Ahhh!" Dominic crouched over in pain, startling Mr Jones.
"You should have reminded in your corner little alpha and not play so arrogant" he whispered maliciously, then turning to the Mr Jones, "the great US Secretary of Def—"
"General enough he's not one to play with, unless you plan to bring war to our shores" another General intervened.
The army General scoffed "pfff….. what kind of a Secretary of Defence is this he can't even withstand our pheromones attack, how are you even going to show your face to your men Secretary of Defence?" He mocking spoke.
Having had enough of these idiots Mr Jones rose his head and glared dangerously at the Army General, "quite easily like this" he replied.
In a blink of an eye the army General was pushed back by a overwhelming force.
"Dominic stop playing around and get up" he ordered.
"Yes uncle" answered Dominic rising to his feet with ease. The President was stunned never had he seen another alpha been able to withstand his pheromones.
"Mr President do you wish for us to leave or stay? because if we stay we'll gladly bring you all to your knees. Now let me be frank this is over, there's noway out everyone already knows how corrupt and disgusting this government is. So why don't you do yourself a favour and leave with some pride while you still can Mr President" stated Mr Jones as he looked at the pale faces staring back at him. What more could they say it was done deal.
