14 chapter-14 My birthday treat

I was ready to celebrate my birthday with my sweetheart.He picked me up,I curiously asked "I am desperate to know about our destination, can't you give me a hint ?"

"sorry darling, I can't " , he smiled looking at me in the rare view mirror.

I couldn't stop myself from blushing,I continued gazing on his neck,his back,I love the way he was riding.

A long drive with him on his bike sitting at his back seat , my right hand around his waist.The other entwined with his left hand, resting my chin on his shoulder was one of my dream which got fulfilled.

I hugged him tight burying my face into his back and longer he drove, the tighter I held and though my eyes were closed. I was smiling and felt the beauty of nature and the warmth of togetherness.

And I was sure that , he never knew applying brakes could stop his heart too. suddenly, I found a man selling cotton-caddies ,I asked him to stop the bike.

"stop, ohh, look it's my favourite."

"Do you want that?"he smiled in a teasy way. "No thanks." I replied rudely as he was making fun of me.

"But why?"He asked me.

"I don't want to be a joke, and I don't want that candy too.Let's go" I replied angrily. He was testing my patience which I was losing.

"Ok baby, let's eat it, I was just kidding. Don't take it seriously.I love your angry face."

"why?"I demanded his answer.

"Because you look more beautiful when you get angry, 'my angry bird', let's enjoy these candies"he replied dotingly.

I insisted him for a walk,then putting hands in hands we were walking slowly, enjoying the gentle breeze, the air blows my hair which gave him a chance to show his affection, he tucked the loose hair strand behind my earlobe, I again started blushing, I was unable to look into his eyes.

He smiled and said, "before I met you, I never knew what it was like to be able to look at someone and smile for no reason".

"oh, really?"I asked gently.

"yes my love.I am not perfect. I'll annoy you ,piss you off, say stupid things,then take it all back. But all that aside, you will never find a person who loves you more than me".

"yes I trust you and I promise to love you and always do my best for you my sweetheart" I replied honestly.Then , he bought me balloons and every time his small efforts make me fall for him more and more .
