Chapter 1-2 (exceptional)

Self-inserts are quite common. Especially Worm CYOA Self-inserts.

Now no one actually expects the CYOA to be real when they fill it out. They expect it to be some kind of joke.

So I didn't expect the world to turn black when I finished filling out the CYOA.

God Mode 10 Points. Duh.

I looked at the red trees around me as memories that were not mine flowed into me.

This was not worm. other than that CYOA was real...

But of ALL people why in god name did I end up inside Adam Taurus?

Still, as more of the Memories began to flow in me I began to understand why he was so angry, the way the Faunus were treated were inhumane in some places.

I stood still as the memories finished flowing in and I began to go through them.

HUMANS.

THEY WOULD NOT UNDERSTAND HOW VALUABLE SOMETHING WAS UNTIL IT WAS LOST.

Breathe in.

Breath out.

Calm down.

I was not Adam Taurus. Yet at the same time, I was.

Our souls were joined as one.

It was strange indeed.

Cinder Fall.

Ozpin.

Salem.

However, before all of them came the life of my brethren.

My fellow Faunus.

With the Power, I had now a plan formed in my mind.

I didn't know how long I was standing.

"Adam." A soft voice called behind me.

I knew instantly who that was.

Blake Belladonna.

If I was the same as I was before today would be the day she would leave me behind.

It would tear my heart apart.

I could not let that happen.

Besides. I didn't need Dust anymore and even if I did I could simply use the Kaleidoscope to summon whatever Type of dust I required from across all the infinite remenants in existence.

I turned to face her.

The one person who mattered the most in my life.

The one person I couldn't bear to lose.

"Blake."

"Is it time?" She asked.

"No, I have something better. Come let us head back to base."

She looked confused. "What happened? What about our mission?" She asked as she walked beside me.

"Blake." I began. "Do you believe in Gods?"

Her confused face turned to a curious one.

"I've read different legends about different gods, however, I don't believe in them. Why do you ask?"

"I received a vision, Blake, A vision and a Solution."

And so I began to spin a tale short tale where I received a Vision from one of these Gods, and that I had a way to create a land for all Faunus to live peacefully.

"So this power the God granted to you. How exactly is it going to help the Faunus?" She asked skeptically not that I blame her. It was indeed unbelievable.

"In the Vision I received, I saw that if we continued on the path we were in we would never going to get equality. Mankind would only push back harder. Mankind will only realize how valuable we are would we have disappeared from their lives."

"Meaning?"

"I am going to build my own Kingdon. A Kingdom where all Faunus are welcome and can live in peace, without the fear that they have to face every day, the fear of Grimm, the fear of being cast out, the fear that they would not have enough to eat day to day. Blake, will you join me?"

She let out a beautiful smile.

"Of course, Adam, I wouldn't leave you even if you ordered me to. So what are we going to name the new Kingdom?"

"How about Alfhiem?"

"From the Land of Faries? I didn't know you read Adam."

And so the foundation for the Kingdom of the Land of Fairies, a Faunus paradise began.

Chapter 2

"Blake." I began turning to her.

"Yes, Adam?"

"You must keep this secret, the fact that we are going to start a Kingdom must not be made public until we are ready. Until then, only a select few and those who will be directly involved with it can know. For now, I want you to head back to base and prepare everyone to leave the base." I said holding my right hand in front of myself a portal opened showing the inside of a well-hidden base. The Portal was circular and glowed all the colours of the rainbow on its edges. "Once you are done, I have a very important mission for you."

She didn't even question it as she stepped through it looking awed at it.

"Alright, please come back soon, Adam."

I nodded and closed the portal.

Now then, Where do I build the New Kingdom?

The first step in building a new Kingdom? Finding a place to build it.

I took into the Air and climbed into the skies accelerating myself as I passed through the clouds. Reaching the speed of sound was childs play as I easily surpassed it, reaching Mach 5 observing the land as I passed by.

Atlas was where the Faunus faced the worst discrimination. So anywhere near there was definitely out.

Vacuo had an extremely harsh environment and most of them, land in Menagerie was unusable.

Vale was too close to Ozpin, I didn't want to get myself involved with such matters.

Something caught my interest in the distance, a fight. Or rather a very specific fight. I didn't want to get involved. Yet I couldn't fathom any logical reason why I began to turn my flight path towards the fight and accelerated reaching Mach 24 in second.

I'm quite stupid aren't I?

Amber Pov

Amber was the fall maiden and by no means was she weak however she didn't have much combat experience.

She didn't want to join a Hunter Academy as she felt it would hold her back.

She wanted to experience the world.

Oh, how she regretted it now.

She didn't know how long she had been fighting, yet here she was, kneeling on the ground. As the woman in front of her approach. She was held back by the woman's two accomplices, her aura was shattered and she was tired.

The woman wore a white glove on her arm as she came to a stop in front of her. As she opened her hands towards her, she saw a Grimm forming on the surface of her palm.

"NO, please no." She cried and pleaded yet she received no mercy as the woman only smiled sinisterly.

She closed her eyes as she waited for the end to come and then there was a loud boom.'

She opened her eyes to a strange sight. A red-haired man with a grim mask covering the top half of his face and was holding the woman's hand away from her.

"What do you think you are doing, Cinder fall? You came to my brethren and requested our help when we rejected you this is what I find you doing? Taking things that do not belong to you? This is why we rejected you Cinder Fall." The man spoke, his voice was like that of a leader. It was not commanding yet it was strong, like someone fit to lead a revolution.

Amber watched as the woman now named Cinder Fall was wide-eyed in shock. What happened next was something she couldn't believe.

He drew back his other hand.

And punched.

The woman's face.

What happened next was a sight to see or rather something she wouldn't forget.

The woman head was blown clean of and send hurtling several feet into the air, her Aura shattered in that single blow. her body still stood as if it had realized it had died yet.

The man then tossed the body away as if one would throw away a piece of garbage. The insect-like Grimm vanishing into black vapour.

He turned to the ones holding her captive.

"Emerald Sustrai and Mercury Black. I suggest letting go of the Fall Maiden or else." He growled.

The air was thick from the tension, the threat clear.

One of her captives left her behind and ran away, the other however screamed in sorrow and anger, no doubt for the loss of the woman and jumped at the man, as she had most likely lost her reasoning.

She attacked and lashed out against the man trying to murder him yet, for some reason the man didn't move. He stood there as his aura took the damage.

Why was he doing such a thing?

"I'm sorry." the man whispered in a soft voice. "While you might have cared greatly for Cinder, she did not care for you."

"YOU KNOW NOTHING." the dark girl screamed in anguish.

"I'm sorry," the man whispered again "She only took you in because of your semblance, she kept you only because she had a use for you."

The girl screamed and kept bashing against the man in denial as she didn't want to believe what was being told.

Eventually, the girl Emerald lost her energy and fell down in a heap tears rolling down her eyes her energy completely drained.

"Please forgive me." The man whispered as he knocked the crying girl out with a knock to the head causing the girl to fall to the ground in a heap.

"You alright?" He let out a tired sigh looking at her.

"I'm fine, thank you." She didn't know who the man was but all she knew was the man had a very soft heart. "Who are you?" she asked as she got up taking her staff.

The man was silent for a few seconds as if contemplating something, "Adam, Adam Taurus."

Her eyes widened, she recognized that name, he was the leader of the white fang, but why would he help her?

She might have spoken out loud as the man answered her question.

"I shall fight against this unfair world, where innocents are always taken advantage of. Especially the Faunus who are hated and discriminated for something they have no control over. As for why I helped you? They were going to take your life for something that is rightfully yours were they not?"

From her side, she heard someone running towards them and turned to see who it was.

"Qrow!" she exclaimed in relief at the sight of the old drunkard.

"Shit." Adam cursed as his legs tensed and he turned around preparing to run away. However, she caught him, she didn't want to leave yet.

"Wait, please," she begged. She didn't want to let the man go at least without properly thanking him, she may not have much to give but perhaps she could Thank him? Now that she thought about it he really looked easy on the eyes. Now only if he removed his mask. The man seemed conflicted before he seemed to settle on a conclusion.

"What is it?

"I'm Amber, Thank you so much for saving me." She said giving a small bow.

"Yeah, I saw what you did there, man that was some strength crazy strength you have. Semblance?" Qrow stumbled coming to a stop behind her and popped open his flask before taking a sip.

"No, that was training."

"Bullshit. There's no way, training can allow you to punch someone's head clean off while shattering their Aura in an instant. The amount of force would be ridiculous."

"Be that as it may. " Adam replied not willing to argue any further.

"So Adam Taurus, huh? If I didn't see it with my own eye's I wouldn't have believed that you would save a human, whats a Terrorist like you doing helping a human?" Qrow asked his eyed narrow.

"It doesn't matter to me Human or Faunus, no one must be attacked or be treated differently for something they have no control over. Is that all?"

"So the Adam Taurus is actually a big softie eh?" Qrow finished taking a gulp from his flask." However, that's not all, you see I'm going to have to ask you to come with me."

"I'm sorry I cannot do that."

"I'm going to have to insist," replied Qrow.

The air began to grow tense as Adam stayed silent and Put a hand on his Katana ready to draw it out in an instant.

Qrow responded in kind putting his flask away as he reached to his back and grabbed a hold of his Scythe.

A whole minute passes and the tension was so thick that you could have cut it with a butter knife.

"Sure." Adam straightened, relaxing and removing his hand from his weapon.

"Sorry pal I'm goi- wait what did you say?" Qrow stuttered and stumbled clearly not expecting such an answer.

"I said sure."

"Huh. I thought you'd put up a fight."

Adam smiled that hot smile. "I do not like to fight, however, I will attack if innocents are threatened or I am attacked."

The awkward silence stretched out for a minute.

"So what are we going to do about this girl? Emerald Sustrai was it?" Qrow inquired looking towards the drowned girl.

"Where do you wish to take me?"

"Huh."

"You said I would have to come with you correct? Where do wish to take me?"

"You know Beacon? That's where we are heading. Why do you ask? You got an idea or something?"

Adam was silent and carried the girl in his arms bridal style. Then he began to float.

Adam can fly? Was that his semblance? What happened next was shocking.

He turned towards vale and blasted off in that direct leaving a shockwave from how fast he was accelerating. I lost sight of him in the distance in a few seconds.

"Huh, well that's one hell of a semblance," Qrow said as he took a chug from his flask.

As soon as he finished his sip I grabbed the flask out of his hands. "Hey." And took a gulp of my own. I think I deserved a bit of Alchohol to digest everything that just happened today taking a second sip I handed the flask back to Qrow.

A few seconds later we saw something in the distance approaching us at insane speeds.

HOLY SHIT IT WAS ADAM AND HE WS GOING TO CRASH ON US!

I closed my eyed for the inevitable but nothing happened.

Huh, I'm still alive?

Opening my eyes I saw Adam Taurus on the ground in front of us with not a hair out of place.

"How." was all I could say.

"Semblance." Was the one word answer I received from the smug bastard I know he saved my life but still it would be nice if he was a bit less smug.

Qrow took another gulp in response.

"So who wants to go on Adam Airlines?"

"No thanks." Qrow and I said simultaneously.

"Fine."

"Besides." I began "Beacon is only a 3 day trip from here. One day on a horse."

"Heh, you're not so bad," Qrow said Relaxing a bit but still keeping his guard up.

"Reports about me have been greatly exaggerated," he said as he began to grin.

Ok, I didn't like that grin. "Adam, why are you smiling?"

He suddenly disappeared and I felt him behind us. And I realised what he was about to do.

"Adam no!" Was all I could say

"Oh, Shit." was all Qrow could say before we found ourselves being dragged through the air.

I didn't know how long I was screaming but the trip lasted only about a minute.

That was insane.

Even as I was screaming I saw the ground, mountains and clouds passing under us. How my hand has not snapped as he dragged us through the air was a mystery in of itself.

"I take it back, you are that bad!" was Qrows shouted in response.

All in all that was a VERY memorable day.
