134 The Trap (Part One)

Shangguan Ning didn't expect that Jing Yiran would have such a bad fall. After spending so much time with Jing Yichen every single day, she had already picked up some of his traits, self defence being one of them. She had thought that Jing Yiran would be equally quick in responding or dodging her attack, but unexpectedly he was not as quick footed as what she had thought him to be.

Jing Yiran was hurt and used the choicest profanities while he lay on the lowest rung of the stairs. "Shangguan Ning, how dare you do this to me? You are dead meat."

Shangguan Ning suddenly regretted that she didn't kick him any harder than she already had. Hearing his empty threats, she felt like he deserved much worse than what he got.

Ning was still worried about Huang Xinyi, so she had no further time to waste with Jing Yiran.

She turned around, took a few stairs and came to the entrance of the fourth floor. She pulled the door open and walked in.
