Chapter 12

As Ada stood up Lance came in, she saw him in a slow motion on her eyes. Everyone in the room was surprised again for his handsomeness.

Lance holding his bag with his shoulder.

His beautiful eyes were on Ada's eyes.

Lance's polo were slightly open, so she saw his necklace with a ring. Until Lance approached his seat.

"Hi Lance!" Joice greeted.

But Lance just went into the chair, ignoring Joice and Ada.

"Well, he's in a badmood for sure." Joice whispered.

"Maybe so." Ada whispered again and their Teacher came to teach.

Their teacher said their exams are close so they need to review. She immediately texted Lance during class.

"Lance, let's review later, please teach me." Ada texted.

"I can't, I'm going home a little late, we have a football practice later." Lance replied.

"Oh, is that so? I'll wait for you." Ada texted.

"Tsk! Don't do that!" Lance replied.

Ada nodded to read Lance's last text.

"Why, he doesn't want me to wait for him? Hmp!" in Ada's mind, while looking down hard on Lance's back.

After class Lance immediately got up and left. Joice approached Ada as she walked out of the room.

"Well, are you alright? I heared, Lance have a football practice now, let's go!" Joice said.

"Ha, I have something to go." Ada said

"Where?" said Joice.

"I'm going to get a new school uniform." Ada said.

"Uniform? Your uniform is ok too!" Joice said.

"Yes, but my Dad don't want my skirt too short!" Ada said.

"Ah well, I'll go with you, then let's get on the field." said Joice.

"Okay!" Ada said and they went to the faculty together.

After they get the new uniform, they go straight to the field.

On the way to the field, Ada noticed there were many students are watching the game. There were also a lot of students yelling and cheering for Lance. It sounds like a real game, but it's just a practice.

"Let's go!" said Joice and follow her.

They are walking to find a good place.

Unexpectedly, the ball dropped and hit Ada in the head.

"Ada!!!" Joice shouted in shocked.

Ada fell down and sat on the lawn.

"Outchh!" Ada said as she held her head.

The man who hit Ada immediately run to them.

"Miss sorry, I didn't mean to!" he said.

When Lance saw, he immediately ran to Ada and got angry.

Other players followed and the game was halted for a while.

"Are you okay? I told you not to go!" Lance said to her as he looked over her head.

"I'm fine. Joice asked me." Ada said.

"Yes, I asked her to be with me. Lance please don't get mad." fearful language of Joice.

"Miss are you okay? Can I take you to the Clinic?" said the man again to Ada.

"I'm fine, don't mind it." she said and Ada slowly stood up, supporting by Lance hand.

"Wait, you look like- Mark?" Ada confirmed to the man who was infront her.

"A-ada?" he confirmed and he smile at her.

"Are you studying here too?" Mark asked.

"Yes." Ada said.

"Do you know each other?" Lance asked.

"Yeah, I'm her childhood friend!" Mark replied happily, while staring at Ada.

"Childhood friend?" Lance asked Ada again.

"That's right, that picture." Ada said to Lance to recall.

"Ah, ok!" Lance get it and immediately walk away and returned to the game.

"All right Ada, see you!" shouted Mark and returned to the game too.

Lance had a bad attitude toward them. Ada was just upset. Ada and Joice find their seat and watch the game.

"Ada, are you all right?" Joice worried.

"Yes, I'm okey." said Ada.

"You look like have a lump." Joice said as she held Ada's head.

"Let it go, it's just a lump!" Ada's smiling.

"That guy, do you know him?" asked Joice.

"Yeah, he's my childhood friend, we haven't seen each other for a long time." Ada said.

"Is that so? He also likes Lance, he has a cute face and plays well too." taught Joice.

"Ah, yeah." Ada said briefly.

"He is a good looking, too!" Joice said with a smile.

They gladly watched the game. Lance occasionally glanced at them. And when the coach give them time to rest, Lance approached them and reached for freezing mineral water to Ada.

"Oh! Put it on your head!" Lance said and handed it to Ada.

"Thanks!" Ada said and Lance left.

While Charm get jealous, when she saw Lance give the water to Ada.

"Look Charm, Lance noticing Ada!" Jenny said.

"Hmp! That ugly girl!" said Charm.

"Yes, we should really teach her a lesson so she can stay away from Lance." said Lyka.

"Yes, I have a plan for Ada!" said Charm.

"All right, we'll help you Charm!" said Lyka.

"I'll be sure, Lance will never notice her ever again!" said Charm.

After the game, people gradually came to their senses, and decided to going home. While, walking Lance texted her.

"Just wait for me in the corner." text by Lance.

"Ok." Ada replied.

"What a great game no matter what! Lance and Mark are really good!" said Joice.

"That's right! This is my first time to watch a football game. Even if it's just a practice, it's a good game!" Ada said.

"Hopefully, they will win when they fight against another school." said Joice.

"I hope so, I guess they can!" Ada said.

"Ada! Ada!" Mark called her, as he ran towards them.

"Oh, Mark!" Ada said and look at him.

"Well, I caught you." Mark said as he gasped for a run.

"Why, do you have something to say? By the way, this is Joice, my classmate." Ada acknowledged.

"Hi Joice!" he said and it stretches out the hand.

"Hi too!" Joice greeted.

"Alright Ada, I'll go ahead first." Joice said.

"All right, be careful!" said Ada.

"You too! Mark bye!" said Joice

"Ok. Bye! Watch out!" said Mark.

"What's your section and your number Ada?" asked Mark.

"Ah our section is 4A and my room is at the second floor. How about you?" Ada said.

"Ah I'm 4E, my room at the third floor. What's your number?" said Mark.

"Ah this." Ada picked up her phone and handed it to Mark.

"How are Tita Rose and Tito Jun doing?" Ada asked.

"They are ok. Well, sometimes they ask me how are you. I'm sure it will be nice to know that we met again!" said Mark.

"Is that so." Ada said.

"How about Tito and Aunt Rachel, how about them?" said Mark.

"They are ok too, they are a bit busy in the business, but they visit me occasionally." Ada said and her phone rang. She answer it.

"Hello!" Ada answer.

"Where are you now?" Lance asked.

"I'm coming." Ada said and lowered the phone.

"All right Mark, I have to go." Ada said.

"Wait, where do you live? I'll send you!" said Mark.

"Oh no! Just go ahead, bye!" and Ada ran away saying goodbye.

"But..." Mark couldn't help, when he saw Ada running fast and was out of the gate.

"Anyway, theres tomorrow!" said Mark to himself.

Ada runs to the corner and sees Lance waiting in the car.

"Why are you so late? I've already been here for a while." asked Lance right away.

"I'm sorry, Mark talked to me." she said, as she took a deep breath.

"Tsk! Come on in, maybe someone can see you here!"

Lance ordered and Ada got in the car. And he followed her and they went home. While inside the car.

"Have you got a new uniform?" Lance asked.

"Yes." Ada said.

"Why aren't you wearing it?" Lance asked her.

"Ah not yet open." nobody even thought about saying Ada.

Lance just sighed and they not talk again to each other.

When they arrived at the mansion, Lance's Mom and Grandfather greeted them warmly.

After dinner Lance's parents said goodbye to them. Ada was given expensive clothes, shoes and jewelry before they leaving.

That night, they send Lance's parents to the airport and said goodbye to them.
