26 Spent time Together

Time really flies very fast. Only 10-15 days are left for the semester exams. Lacy and I were already muddled with several thoughts crossing our minds. We will even be having a quiz competition the day after tomorrow. The final registration date was the next day. Lacy and I had already paid for the Tech Quiz event. Sky was still left.

" Will you accompany me to the registration place? "

" Sure! I was elated.

We both left during the break time. I was experiencing warmth and happiness from within. For the first time he had asked me to accompany him. Actually, it was the first time he asked someone to accompany.

On the way to the registration building we were chatting. He even called up his dad, informing him regarding the registration. In between his chat over with his dad he happened to be asking me questions regarding the quiz registration and I replied to him accordingly.

We both walked together on the stairs, through the corridors, traversing the paths, like a couple which I had thought possible only in my dreams. But it happened to be really true...

For the first time I left Lacy by herself in the class. She utilised her time by video chatting with brother Henry.

I earnestly wished, if time would stop.Then we could have stayed like this together forever. If only he would have feelings for me.

I was talking to him regarding our treat at McDonald's yesterday. He took interest and asked me what I had.

"A Hamburger with French fries and Choco lava cake. It's really yummy. You can try it if you go there someday. ", I replied bubbling with enthusiasm.

" Oh, And you had it all alone. ",he replied with a sarcastic tone.

" Next time come along with us we will have it together ", as I looked him in the eye.

He laughed at me and said, " You silly what are you saying? ".

" Okay.If you don't want to leave", I shifted my gaze towards the registration room as we approached.

" Yeah you are an idiot. After all, you didn't mean what you had said, so leave."

We reached the place.

I was not at all happy. It was already time for Maths class and I didn't wanna miss it. But I didn't wanna leave him. I wanted to accompany him and come back with him..

He, seeing my confused state, finally said, " You go. Don't worry, I will come back as soon as the registrations are done. You leave and attend the class. "

I left unwillingly. But he arrived real fast. He can run and cycle at a great speed. I have seen him before.. His physique is great.

We attended the math class but I was somewhat lost in thoughts at what he meant when he said I was dumb.

Our first class was Mechanical today.We were busy with the carpentry work. All the wood bits which I had scrapped with the file were blown on my head by Ellie. Lacy was scolding Ellie and was helping to shove it off my hair. Sky's hair got too many wooden particles stuck.

I mentioned that to him ,and he asked me to remove it. I touched his hair without a second thought. I was helping him to brush away those particles when he suddenly spoke.

" You know I haven't shampooed my hair for the last 2 weeks. "

I took away my hand abruptly and went to the basin to wash my hand thoroughly.

" You jerk, don't you have any sense. Can't tell that to me earlier! ", I yelled.

He only laughed hard and that made me feel even more irritated. I was so annoyed that I went to Lacy when he approached me again.

He asked, " Are you angry? "

" Nope I'm mad that I'm happy. "

" I see", and he went over to chat with Haruto.

And silently both he and Haruto were whispering something into each other's ears.

I understood something was really fishy. I asked Haruto about it.

" It's a boy's matter. In every aspect Ladies' first. So for this time we are our priority. ", he said calmly.

" Yeah while boarding the train, I can find how much you guys leave yourself by saying ladies first instead of pushing us away and entering like other days", I smirked.

They started to laugh. With them I laughed too.

I recalled all those happy moments of morning class when all of a sudden Maths Sir came to us and asked , " Will you all get 50 marks in maths? "Most of the people put their hands down."

I just recovered from the scenes and finally answered in a hurry, "Yes, Sir.I will get it.. "

"Very well. "

Finally the class got over. When I thought I could enjoy going with him, Lacy held me back. She needed to fill up her water bottle. The route is opposite to the college exit.

After filling it up we finally left the place.
