158 Bonus Chapter: Lower Your Head

'You fucker, I don't care if you are a lance or the fucking king of this country if you want to die do it alone, don't drag me into it,' Randel thought as he calmed himself down.

"Lance Bairon let's go," Randel said and Bairon glared at him, Randel was at a loss if he moves forward there is Bairon and if he moves backward it is Zenobia. He was stuck between a rock and a hard place. He felt like crying in the corner he didn't do anything wrong, why did he have to suffer?

"Lady Zenobia please give me one more chance, It is so that I can protect the continent," Bairon said with a serious expression.

'You….you…..do you know what you are saying? Or are you just spouting nonsense but think your face and status will save you?' Randel felt cold sweat on his body as he cursed at Bairon in his mind and made up his mind to stay away from pretty boys they are too self-destructive.

"So that is how it is?" Zenobia raised her eyebrows as she looked at Bairon who thought he had succeeded in reaching her.

"You know Lance Bairon, The people of this continent are no different from walking corpses if there is someone like you protecting them," Zenobia said with a gentle smile Bairon was too dumfounded to even react to her.

Randel followed Zenobia as Haru was still standing in his place.

Haru was looking at this with an amused expression; he didn't know Zenobia could be like this. She mostly had a gentle persona with a humble personality that treated people with an amount of respect without being harsh.

But this was something else even though Zenobia didn't shout or curse, her words caused far more damage than what the former could've done.

Haru could see Bairon clenching his fist with anger showing on his face, But he calmed himself and turned around following Zenobia.

"Miss Zenobia listen to me," Bairon asked but received no response from Zenobia who kept walking. Bairon tried a few more times but to no avail, Zenobia didn't even look at him.

'Atleast tell me what I did wrong,' Bairon was frustrated.

Bairon moved his hand towards Zenobia to stop her but…

"Oya? We can't have that," Haru appeared in beside Bairon and grabbed his hand.

Zenobia who turned around to stop Bairon looked at Haru and then looked at Bairon who was stunned beyond belief. Even Randel had his mouth agape.

'What is wrong with these pretty boys? How are they so fast?' Randel shouted in his mind as he didn't even know what happened all he saw was both Haru and Bairon appearing together near Zenobia.

'How….. did…. he? I didn't even sense him,' Bairon felt surprised as he didn't even feel Haru approach him, But that didn't matter.

'It was all a fluke, it was because I was too focused on Lady Zenobia,' Bairon thought as tried to move his hand slowly so as to not hurt Haru for him Haru even though a commoner, He was still Zenobia's servant so he could hurt him accidentally.

But his hand didn't move from its place, and what pissed him off even more was the expression on Haru's face it was as if he was dealing with a brat.

He was looking down on him, A lance. He was one of the strongest mages on the continent and a commoner was looking down on him.

"Let go of me if you don't want to get hurt," Bairon demanded.

"Why? Didn't you hear her answer already? What will you get by pestering her? She clearly doesn't want to talk to you, so why don't you book it?" Haru said with a carefree smile which pissed off Bairon even more.

"It is between Lady Zenobia and Me, A servant like you has no right to talk," Bairon said as he straightened his back looking down on Haru because of his height.

Even though he was pissed he still couldn't hurt Haru because things will get beyond salvageable if he does something rash and end up severely injuring Zenobia's servant, So he decided to use his killing intent to scare Haru off.

'Heh, Two pretty boys fighting it will be fun, Huh, Sis why are you getting angry?' Randel who was happy seeing Haru and Bairon confront each other was shocked when he saw the anger in Zenobia's eyes flash dangerously.

This made him shrink in fear because Zenobia rarely got angry and it was only when her 'Creations' were involved other than that she would be as chill as a cucumber.

Haru let go of Bairon's arm who smirked as he thought he looked at Haru who was still standing on the same spot.

"It looks like you understand your place, Don't do it again or I will crush you," Bairon said as he lifted his chin with his eyes looking down on Haru.

'Huh, Was he only bark and no bite? I expected a lot from considering Big sis was so interested in him,' Randel felt his disappointment rising as he looked at Haru.

"This is amusing, It is really is, But no matter how amusing it is, Let me give you a warning," Haru said as he looked in Bairon's eyes with his red eyes.

Bairon wanted to speak but his mouth didn't open his body but he wasn't able to move. It was like someone had tied him up on the spot. He felt Haru's hand on his left shoulder and tried to move his body again but to no avail.

"Only those who I allow can look me in my eyes when I speak," Haru's calm voice spread through the silent shop.

"I don't allow those who are weaker than me to look down on me," Haru continued as Bairon felt fear gripping around his heart like a snake strangling its prey, his eyes shook as he tried to free himself but it didn't work no matter how hard he tried. All he could see was Haru's red eyes looking at him.

Bairon saw Haru looking at him at the same eye level, It wasn't that Haru had grown taller in an instant But Bairon's legs gave away as Haru pushed him down on the ground.

THUD*

Bairon's knees hit the floor with his body going limp his face had a terrified expression with wide eyes.

'What... happened... to…. me?' Bairon shakily thought as he felt Haru's hand on his shoulder he moved his head up with difficulty to See Haru looking down at him with his deep red eyes that looked as dangerous as they looked beautiful.

"Lower your head." Haru said as he looked at Bairon with a cold expression. Even Zenobia felt a chill going down her spine when she heard those words, Her eyes widened when she looked at Haru.

'This….' Zenobia looked around and she saw that the world was painted in dark red. It was the power of Haru's will and it spread in its surroundings painting everything in his color.

Bairon tried to stop his body and The vow he took that he won't lower his head in front of anyone but his king was broken…...

Bairon's mind went blank he wasn't able to think straight as he looked at the ground in fear.

'Damn it! Am I dreaming right now? What the fuck just happened? Girly Pretty boy just pushed Buff pretty boy on the ground with just a little tap on his shoulder, Like, What the hell? Is this real?' Randel was shocked beyond belief it can be seen from his agape mouth.

Zenobia had a gentle smile on her face but she still looked at Bairon coldly.

'That wasn't strength? Just what did he do to me?' Bairon was drenched in cold sweat as he looked down at Haru's shoes even now when Haru removed his hand from his shoulder, Bairon was still unable to move his body even a little.

Was this his first defeat? No, he had lost before, in the Group called Lances, there are people stronger than him that work with him on a daily basis. They have defeated him many times but he was able to hold his head high and continue to improve in order to chase after those people.

But now? He was no match, with just eye contact and a little tap on his shoulder he was dropped to the ground like a sack of potatoes. He wasn't even able to move his eyes up let alone his body.

He had lost before, he has been defeated before, But he has never been embarrassed to this degree in his life, he has never felt so humiliated before.
