4 Friends Forever?

Lily came back to the cabin again. She stood at the door of the cabin as she looked deeply at it. She stood motionless there like a statue.

Not much time passed since Lily reached the cabin until her friends caught up with her. Despite the long time that passed on their separation, friends were actually able to catch up.

This was because when the interviews ended and the moment when the palace gate was opened, the three ran on the road searching for her.

They took some time looking around the palace. Yet when they couldn't find anywhere near there, they decided to go on and get back to the village.

They were right. Despite Shen trying to persuade her sister to stop and look around other roads, Bella didn't follow through.

The latter was dead fixed that Lily was shocked and got herself back to the cabin. As for Shen, despite having some leaning towards this opinion, she didn't exclude the possibility of Lily taking a detour at any forking point of the road.

As for Oliver, he was much crazier than the two in looking for Lily. He ran all the way around like a lost dog, not knowing where his master was.

They arrived at the village and started to slow down their running speed, until they stopped a few meters before Lily's cabin to take their breath.

All their concerns were to reassure their friend. They stopped to look at each other as they knew that Lily was inside.

It was only a few moments until Shen reached the door that was already open. She did not need to knock.

Oliver, however, pushed the door gently and the door released an annoying and familiar shrieking sound.

Lily did not turn to look at who just broke into her moment of sorrow and regret. Bella pushed Oliver to the side and entered through the door. She wanted to enter and see what was happening there!

She was extremely worried over her friend.

"What are you doing?" Shen said it to Lily

Lily gave her a deep glance and didn't answer.

"Are you ok?" Oliver asked in urgency and worry.

Lily ignored Oliver's question and chose to answer Shen's.

"I am going to make soup, do you want to join me at dinner?" Lily said while she dodged the eyes of friends.

Although she didn't not look at them, they did not stop looking at her. They were closely examining her while one single question was ranging in their heads.

"Are you… ok?" Bella moved and touched her back in sympathy, yet Lily jolted her hand away without saying anything.

Oliver could not lower his eyes from Lily.

"Where is the soup? It's just boiling water!"

Bella said while trying to change the subject. She knew, as everyone knew, that her friend was deeply shocked by what happened back at the palace.

And to add more to their crisis, no one here had any answers to the most logical questions Lily must be having right now. Like why she did have such treatment by the guards.

No one knew, and as a way to solve problems Bella tried to shift things away and focus on happy stuff. Hoping for the bad to go away.

"So let's make one together," Oliver said. He wanted to adjust Lily's mood so he said it as if it was celebrating, encouraged by shen.

"So let's make a soup,"

shen said for the friends it was a moment of fun!

One radish, one green onion, pickled vegetable residue and red chip all these ingredients were enough to make a great soup. Such a great soup that could bring happiness to the stomach and heart.

But none of those staff could make Lily happy. She felt stomach upset, random aches and pains all over her body.

"I have a little surprise for you, it's a simple gift. I was going to give it to you in case you got the job, but it is okay. You can get it now you anyway," Oliver said with a broad smile. It was a simple handmade necklace. It ended with a blue stone that looked special and delightful.

Lily kept looking at him in silence until Shen broke that silence with a chuckle

"wow"

"It is a great blue stone. Is it a magical stone?" Bella said it in a funny way.

"That is a wonderful piece," Shen said with a simple smile, not a true one.

"I made it by myself," Oliver said with a lovely voice.

The four friends turned around the food on the floor. When they finished their food, their emotional state was changed. Lily started laughing at Bella's humor and Oliver was mocking Shen and laughing.

Suddenly lily interrupted them

"What happened at the palace after I left?" Lily said it seriously, and turned that fun moment into a moment of silence.

"Nothing important" Oliver said

"What happened in the palace?" lily asked again

""Nothing is important, dear. They stopped us in one row down there, the balcony that the princess was looked from. The arrogant princess looked at us with disdain a few minutes before she left.

The old maids continued the examination; they examined us one by one, checked our eyes, teeth and skin, then they released us!" Shen said quickly as if she wanted to end the story," Shen said quickly as if she wanted to end the story.

"Who's Chosen?" Lily asked shen

No one knows. They told us that they would send one of the servants to call for the acceptance," Shen said.

"Someone tried to poison the princess," Bella said, hesitating and worried about whether she told them right now.

She looked back to the dish in her hand. She tried to get the rest of the vegetables in the soup. She feared to look at them, because if she looked, she would found all the three buddies staring at her. That makes her so scared.

"What?" Oliver asked in shock that is so strange!

"Leave that dish and talk," Shen said , bound by an orderly accent.

Bella did nothing, before shen moved toward Bella to hit her. Bella ran across the cabin.

"I don't know, I sneaked into the kitchen during the examination. I was looking for something to eat. The servants there were talking about the crazy princess who allowed the villagers to get into the royal palace. The princess decided to choose her maids by herself, "Bella explained.

Lily thought for a while, before she was heading toward the cabin door.

"All of this doesn't matter," Lily said, leaving the hut.

"Where are you going?" Oliver asked

"I'm going to walk in the nearby forest just for a while," Lily answer

"I will come with you," Oliver said to her and stood up to leave with her.

"Please. I want to stay alone," Lily said, and she wants it.

Olivier was silent in surrender.

Lily left the cottage, and the Olivier stood watching her in silence, before Shen approached

"I have a bad feeling, I feel something is going to happen, that's bad," shen said in a deep voice.

Meanwhile, Lily's mother had just arrived at the cottage out of the forest on the other hand with a vegetable basket and looked to everyone in front of the door looking at the forest

"What is going on?" the lady said
