I was left dumbfounded looking at the details of "Natural Allure". With only two additional Ranks in this Skill, the difference was staggering. I checked my Status and reassured myself that nothing else had changed since my last level up. I took out all my new items and checked if they could somehow help me with my Dungeon at the moment. The Tainted Blood I got from the powerful Undead seamed to be a potent item but couldn't help me at the moment. The Ghoul's Monster Core I set aside to consume as soon as I was done with everything else. I assimilated my destroyed studded leather armor, dissatisfied I couldn't get more use out of it as it was quite the find. As I consumed it I gained some knowledge of its make and characteristics but not enough to reproduce it. Maybe complicated items required a multitude of them to be assimilated in order for me to reproduce them.

The Võrska Queen's crown was the unexpected surprise, as the item resonated with latent magic the moment I unveiled it in front of my Core. This confused me because I was quite certain that the relic was not enchanted in any way.

I excitedly looked up the two new skills to see what they could do before I assimilated the crown as a Totem piece.

I drooled over the bonuses to adding the Totem piece to my Core and finally accepted the prompt when I was done reading. The copper crown flew up to my crystalline core and became liquid in state. The melted copper encircled the almost spherical core before solidifying in a thinner circlet-like form that hovered half an inch over its surface. It looked quite impressive and I couldn't wait to see how it would look if I kept Ranking up Core levels and added more totem pieces! Inspired by the new colour added with the assimilation of the crown, I used Dungeon Manipulation to fill my Altar's carved imagery with copper, turning the grooves into shiny veins of ore. I also added new images depicting our recent victories and the underground city. Now the carved images of our exploits really popped out against the black monolith. I smiled in satisfaction and gave a thumbs up to my minions who were still observing me work.
